VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Amazing! Every bite of everything was delicious. It was very noisy with the background music and some big groups near us. That’s my only con. Definitely a pricey meal but worth it for a special occasion.

We went for a late lunch on sunday. The server was kind but very busy and was not timely. We had to flag down others to take our order because the kids started to get cranky. The place was loud and it was getting hard to manage conversation, this is probably good for groups, but I would not want a date night here personally. The food was delicious, although a few things felt somewhat sour because of too much lemon and feta. Overall we enjoyed our experience, the decor was great.

Excellent food and even better service. Very nice selection of Greek and other wines by the glass. Tempura zucchini and eggplant appetizer was nice and crispy served with the REAL tzatziki sauce (had shreds of cucumber in it 😉). Shrimp Souvlaki had a smooth yet tangy lemon sauce. Lamb shank was cooked perfectly and the sauce on the orzo pasta was a perfect combination. Can’t wait to go back.

This was my 4th time at violi and the other times everything was great 5* this time the service was not up to previous standards. Our party had to wait a full hour before our mains order was taken

We had a fun evening & enjoyed our dinner in the bar area. The DJ was so good, our server Arianna was awesome, & the food was excellent! Look forward to returning soon!

The food was average but the service was poor. Waited what felt like 30 minutes after dinner to order dessert and drinks. Just paid the check and left.

This was my second time visiting Violi. Most items have been outstanding. I absolutely love the charred octopus and the Halibut. Other items that were also good were the grilled calamari, horiatiki and their chopped salad. The bougatsa looked cool but was a bit disappointing.

The service was excellent; the food came quickly, was well presented, and delicious. Tables are comfortable, the environment is a little loud, but not loud enough to prevent enjoying a conversation. Oakbrook Mall was missing a Greek Restaurant, they got an amazing one with Violi
