VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Rude waiter. He didn’t even know when to bring out water to us. The portion is so small for the quality of the food. Leaves aftertaste too. Terribly disappointed considering we were there to enjoy Mother’s Day.

Great restaurant but if you’re sensitive to noise level, it’s better to go on a weeknight than on a Saturday night.

I came for my friends birthday celebration which they kept forgetting and asking us about. There was a large group being helped next to our table that our server was also helping. I understand a busy day, as I am a server as well, but I requested my drink 3 separate times and in total had to wait 35 minutes for my drink. We also were left unattended for 30 minutes waiting to order our dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful with wonderful vibes, but the service was not pleasant. Personally for a restaurant of this level, the service is unacceptable.

Dinner at Violi was wonderful. We were seated in the terrace for an early dinner. The happy hour menu was great. The oysters were fresh and tasty. Our entrees were amazing - sharing the halibut and the lamb gyros. Darwin, our server, was attentive and accommodating. Can’t wait to return to explore the menu some more.
