VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

We had a very good time. The food was great, and our server is very friendly, attentive and enthusiastic. The seafood pasta was delicious. The filet was cooked just right (not over cooked) and tasted great. We also loved their branzino. It's done very well and the sauce and spice that go along is perfect. Overall, it was very enjoyable.

From the moment you step in, the beautiful ambiance sets the tone—elegant yet inviting, with a design that instantly elevates the mood. It’s a space that feels thoughtfully crafted and distinctly different from other local spots. The food is delicious across the board. Each dish feels refined yet approachable, offering bold flavors and quality ingredients. Whether you’re in for a full dinner or just grazing through appetizers, there’s a satisfying balance of comfort and creativity in every bite. Cocktails are another highlight—well crafted, balanced, and clearly made with care. It’s refreshing to find a place where the bar program is as strong as the kitchen. Service was attentive and helpful throughout the meal. A special shoutout to Tim, who made the experience even better with his warm and knowledgeable approach.

The staff was friendly upon arrival. The bartender was friendly and made wonderful tasting rinks. Once seated the waiter, busboy, and other servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food tasted amazing and the DJ that came on after 8pm.really gets you pumped. I highly recommend this place.

Love the patio at the Oakbrook Violi. Our server was amazing!!! Very friendly and right on target. The food was very good. Had the saganaki appetizer which was very good along with pita bread. Was full so ordered to spanakopita appetizer as my entree. Was very good!!! Husband had lamb Slovakia with rice which he enjoyed. Lovely outdoor setting.

First time trying Violi and we are so glad we did! The food,wine recommendation and drinks were all great. Also, our server, Darwin, was excellent!!

The DECONSTRUCTED PASTITSIO used to be a larger portion of a dish in a large bowl that I ordered all the time and would have to take the rest to go, but it looks like they have now down sized it in half on a smaller plate. Still enjoyed the ambience and service though.
