Great place to relax, enjoy great food & wine and chill to the sounds of the giant waterfall.
Service was good. I am a member of Tagaris and atmosphere is always good and energetic. My only complaint this time is the wine I bought was the muscat and when I got home I was given a different bottle of wine.
Hello! We are so sorry to hear that. If you don't mind, give us a call at 509-628-1619 or email us, and we will get this corrected for you. Our apologies! - TAGARIS
Patio is a great place to dine in the cooler weather. In July, the heat and flies are distracting and take away from the great food and drinks. Patio misters or fly traps would have helped.
This was a lovely evening for my husband and I. We had great service and great food! We really enjoyed our evening together.
We had a large party of 9, 4 of which were children. We had great, attentive service fro the waitstaff & the food was excellent. This was our first return after what I would guess has been at least 3 years. We had some very poor food & service and made the decision not to return until now. We’re very happy we have tried them again!
Easy to reserve a table, plenty of parking, relaxing terrace (especially once the sun has gone behind the building), excellent food and friendly service. Most enjoyable.
The food here is amazing. Party of 8 and we all had different dishes....everyone loved theirs. Staff was great. When in Richland/Walla Walla, definitely make a stop here!
We had a great time. Everything was perfect! thank you.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. We normally have excellent food and service here, however this time the lamb was over cooked twice and the best I could say is the service was average. Tagaris is no exception to the lack of service and quality after COVID shutdowns.
We went for dinner and live music for our wedding anniversary. It was lovely. The food and service was great. The music was good. The place is beautiful. Our waitress was fantastic. There were a lot of people there so the wait to get our drink order and get our drinks was longer than expected. Overall it was great. Thank you!
Lovely evening with friends enjoying a delicious dinner on Tagaris’ beautiful patio. Food was very good and the wait staff was AMAZING!!! Have not received that level of attentiveness in a very long time. The biggest thanks and appreciation to Martha - she is the epitome of excellence!!
Food and drinks (except the wine) were really good. The waiter did not initially get my drink order correct, but once he did it was awesome! We look forward to going back there. 4 drinks, appetizer and 2 entrees for less than $100. Can't be that!!
Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere my husband and I had dinner there for my birthday and it was a great experience.
Thank you for the service and the ambiance. It was wonderful, Martha was excellent with her service to us...and looking around the place, she was wonderful with the rest of the clientele. I truly appreciate customer service and this was excellent.
The drinks that Martha suggested were great, delicious! The beans (market fresh veggies) were also very delicious but I ordered the potatoes wh were, unfortunately, not very good. I left them on the plate. They weren't cooked all the way through and there was no seasoning! So sorry! I am saying this in hope that this may have been a "one time" occurrence. And my husband's dish, the lamb meat balls, also needed some seasoning. I love food and I don't like to depend on sauces to make the dish. I truly appreciate this time and wish you the very best.
Service was slow and salmon was way overcooked.
Loved everything about this restaurant
Nice wine and good food. A bit loud but a nice evening.
We celebrated a anniversary due to extremely warm weather we ate inside. However, the outdoor patio looks amazing and we are excited to go back and enjoy
The ambiance is great, the food was not as good as expected. The dessert was excellent.
Im from out of town and as soon as you walk inn the ambience is fantastic and the drink and food were delicious.
Noise level was over OSHA standards for many industries.
Ordered a drink with a lemon twist, got a LARGE lemon slice.
Ordered a drink with olives, got a LARGE slice of lime.
The waitress wiped the table off with a wet rag as we sat down!
Gross! We couldn't touch the table for a while.
Food was good.
Ambience was lackluster.
She put us in the center at the noisiest, busiest, part of the place.
The bill was double what the food and bad service were worth!
Maybe once more... I doubt it.
They knew it was a special occasion ahead of time (wife's birthday), and still managed to ruin it.
The food was terrible, but the ambiance was exceptional. Service was totally on point and the wine was good but it all came back to the food being terrible. The paella was overcooked and tasteless and the steak was chewey and not good. This was an unfortunate experience but similar to a prior experience so it's not just a one-off bad time, but a pattern
The food was mediocre at best. There was a large wedding party going on that the management obviously didn’t plan for, so the wait staff was slow to respond to other customers. The restaurant was extremely hot, and made for an uncomfortable experience.
Wonderful, looking forward to our next visit
Tapas and cocktails were excellent-perfect Saturday lunch spot.
At first the experience was a bit upsetting. We were waiting at the host's station for over 20min after our reservation time without being acknowledged at all. Then they seated us in the sun away from other guests and told that's where they seat people without a reservation. We had to explain that we did have one. They finally moved us to a different table closer to the entertainment. The food was good. The chicken flat bread lacked flavor and toppings, very plain even though the description read that all meat was grilled with cherry wood etc. We had a cheese board that was delicious and so was the steak flatbread. The wait staff was polite and very helpful in recommending drinks and food. The atmosphere was relaxing and the band was the best part. Overall it was nice, we are in a pandemic and appreciate the chance to experience indoor dining again.
Always a nice experience but like most restaurants, post COVID recipes are lacking flavor due to ......
Great food and wine and the patio is lovely. Kid’s menu is available too.
My family and I enjoyed celebrating my daughter’s graduation at Tagaris. The food was great, service was wonderful, the outdoor atmosphere was perfect!
This is usually a date place for us but we brought our two kids last night and it was a great experience for all of us. Great food and service.
Best ambience In town - especially with a live band!
The meal started off great. The appetizer of patatas bravas with marinated beef medallions was delicious. The cocktails were very well done. We had a Passion Fruit Martini and an Old Fashioned. Then came the paella which we thought would be spectacular given the price of said dish. It was a disappointment. The rice tasted like it had been cooked a few days ahead of time. The shrimp were stringy and also tasted rather meh. The chorizo in the dish was almost non existent as the tiny pieces were hidden behind the grains of rice. I could go on but I won’t. I’ve had much better paella in Boise, ID at The Basque Market and in Salt Lake City, UT at Café Madrid. We went to Tagaris Taverna to hear Cafe Blanco and unfortunately had to leave earlier than we would’ve liked because our table on the patio was buffeted by the cool wind and the staff wouldn’t turn on the heaters. All in all it was a mediocre experience. Very different from our first visit to Tagaris Taverna.
Delicious dinner for 4 - our first venture into a restaurant in 1 1/2 years went very well. The outdoor patio allowed for comfortable distancing. Because of the slight breeze, we opted to be under their covered area - glad we chose that because once them music started, the larger patio area wold have been to noisy for us.
(This problem is not unique to Tagaris. - I wish. that musicians at restaurants would realize that they are not the main show. It's not a concert. I want to enjoy a good meal and conversation with friends.)
Everything was great. Food and service were on point. This place is always one of our "go tos".
Our server was wonderful. She was knowledgeable about the menu, helpful with suggestions. She really helped make the evening lovely. That just doesn’t happen often enough. 🥰
Great food, friendly team. We very.much enjoyed the experience. We qill definatly makebtjis a go to when in Richland.
We went here for dinner after reading an article. The setting and service was great. Unfortunately, the food and wine (at least the reserve reds) wasn't that great. In fact the lamb gyro was probably one of the worst gyros we've ever had. Such a shame given the potential of this place given the ambience.
Wonderful ambience. Great food. Completely enjoyable
It was a nice experience! Live music on the beautiful patio!
