Taverna Opa had been recommended from a co-worker for our travels to Orlando. We really didn't know what to expect. The food was superb, the ambiance energetic, fun and unexpected. We had some of the best service from our amazing waiter AND enjoyed dancing on the table with the fabulous belly-dancer. Thank you Taverna Opa for a night we will never forget. We will always recommend you!!

We've be there on a family meeting. The music and was so loud. It was almost impossible talk with the person in my side.
The show was terrible. Napkins were flying everywhere, people waking over tables. It is pretty different from an authentic Greek restaurant. It was almost impossible talk with the person in my side. I really did not like.
The food was just OK. I will not go back

DO NOT make a reservation on the weekend. They do NOT honor ANY reservations after 630 pm. All they do is put your name on a wait list. I was told upon arrival at 815 for an 830 reservation that my wait was 20 minutes. It ended up being 2 hours! Mgmt kept saying it would be another 15 minutes every time I went to question. bY THE TIME WE GOT IN, THE BELLY DANCERS WERE DONE FOR THE NIGHT.

I will NEVER go there on a WEEKEND AFTER 630 AGAIN!! BAD BUSINESS!!

My experience was overall wonderful. The only minor issue I had was, that I arrived early for my reservation, and yet still I had to wait an additional 30 minutes, before my party and I were seated. We were then informed that preferred seating was not available on the weekend, and if I had none that before hand, I would have planned accordingly. Other than that, my family and I had a fantastic experience, celebrating my mother's retirement

It is so loud you can barely thing straight. if you want to talk to your party good luck you will be screaming at each other the whole time. They gouge you with prices for everything even to get a picture taken of your party. The food is okay but is way too high priced for what you get. The only good thing I can say is that the drinks are great even though they're all 9 dollars and more for 1 drink. I'm so very sad that I wasted my birthday at this place.

Taverna Opa was fun, lively, and offered amazing food. Casual environment with music and dancing. The wait staff often encouraged folks to dance, even on the tables and there was napkin throwing and high energy. Both adults and kids will enjoy this fun atmosphere. There real stand out for me was the food! Great lamb and steaks, hand made humus, and delicious appetizers. I was in town for a convention, and am sad to leave it behind. A must for anyone in the Orlando area. Opa!

I knew this place was a little noisy but it was really over the top. You can hardly talk or hear anyone. I would not recommend unless you're with a big group that wants to party.

I recommend Taverna Opa to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable time with their group of friends or family. This was my second time going and I had just as much fun as I did the first time. The food is delicious and the environment is so much fun. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat, do not go to Taverna Opa. The music is blasted at the highest volume, but that creates the mood for dancing. It is almost a nightclub and a restaurant combined. The live belly dancers add an extra touch to the entertainment. Be prepared to dance on tables and throw napkins!!! Opa!!!

Always a fun time. The food is great, the hummus awesome and it is a lively place filled with music and dancing. If you are looking for a quiet place to dine this isn't for you. It you want a taste of the Greek Mediterranean with the added bonus of belly dancing on the tables and shots of ouzo. Then it's the place for you.

food was good, service excellent, great wine selection. I was there for a quiet meeting with someone and did not realize how lively it was, so for this occasion it wasn't perfect, but I will definitely be back with a group of people looking for some fun and excitement.

The only skill set this staff has is throwing napkins & table belly dancers.
Menu is awkward but waaaay better than the actual plates themselves. Best thing we ate was the FREE hummus / crushed chickpeas.
If you're into fun & don't care about your food, check this place out. (My Greek grandmother would be ashamed of this food.)
Sorry - Opa!

Thought this place would be mildly entertaining for the family, but typical Orlando overpriced mediocrity. I could not have been more wrong! The place was hopping, had a fun energy, the kids got on the table to dance with the belly dancers, they will not ever forget the experience! Oh, by the way, the Greek food is very authentic tasting, (better than some places we've visited in Tarpon Springs,) and is reasonably priced!

Took my wife out to dinner and she loved it. I mentioned to the hostess, behind my wife's back, that it was her birthday and they gave her a special show in front of everyone that's better than any other restaurant I've been in !!

I went to celebrate my son's 20th birthday. We had a good time. The entertainment with the belly dancers and the lively music make up for a good night. The food was good. A bit pricey though. The waiter was friendly and somewhat attentive.

Overall I enjoyed my visit to Opa. I had the Lemon Chicken with Spinach rice and my partner had the Chicken Kebabs and all of it was good: well seasoned and tasty. The entertainment was vibrant and unusual; at times diners would join in on the dancing fun and have good time. It kinda felt like I was in ancient Greece with modern presentation. And the ladies' outfits...Nice!

If you are looking for a quite, romantic spot, this is clearly not right for you: it's a bit noisy in the entire restaurant with the DJ - yes, DJ - spinning Greek/Mediterranean/Spanish/dance music all night long.

Great place to visit at least once if you are local, and definitely a place to visit if you are a visitor to the area.

Food was outstanding and service was great! The noise was awful and it was more like a nightclub than a restaurant. We could barely hear our selves speak and our children were miserable. However great the food was, we could not even stay long enough to enjoy our dessert, which we took to go. They really need to tone down the music to a more comfortable level!

Just want to let you all know that this was an amazing experience for me as well as for the group that was with me. My fiancé said this was the best birthday he ever had and that made me so happy. I don't think I could say enough about what an amazing restaurant you all have. Good was amazing along with the interaction with guest and staff.

Thanks again for a great time and new experience.
