Jessica did an outstanding job making us feel welcomed with her jovial attitude and smile! Maria was also fantastic! She was always on-point whenever we needed refills, or clean up a bit of mess. The cuisine was stupendous! This is our 2nd time at Taverna Mykonos and it gets better each time. Thank you all for making Father's Day extra special!
Very good food; great service; Will definitely be back
Everything was excellentThe food and service was sooo good and the prices are so reasonable for what you get! Loved the grilled octopus and Chilean seabass was the best! Can’t wait do go back again
We came for lunch expecting more for a restaurant that priced at this level. We were disappointed with the spread we ordered. It was a potato/almond mash that was accompanied by pita wedges. The spread was rather bland. The appetizer was a special for the day consisting of 4 prawns and spinach with a sweet dressing. Three of the four prawns were overcooked and the dressing was overly sweet to offset the slight bitterness the spinach. Next, we ordered two entrees. The first entree of bass atop risotto was beautiful in taste and presentation until I cut through the fish to find the skin still attached. It should have been removed when topping risotto. The moussaka entree had only a thin layer of béchamel so that was a little disappointing and the flavor of cinnamon was a little too much for our last. The dessert was a strawberry-chocolate cake that was a nice end to a somewhat ok lunch. I don't know if I would come back for the price level/experience.
We had a poor experience at the restaurant last night. The service was terrible, which included a very inexperienced waiter who was not attentive, meals that took a long time coming out of the kitchen and a bus person, who when asked to pack up 2 dinners to take home proceeded to put the dirty silverware from the other people at our table, onto the plates of food we wanted to take home. Yuck! While the food was okay and apologies were made, including dessert that was brought to the table, it left us questioning whether we would ever want to come back.
Good food snd service, prices are definitely up there but quality of food is great!
Very attentive servers quiet enjoyable atmosphere food very very good it clearly is an improvement over a few years ago when we went there takeout was very very good as well
Amazing delicious food, awesome staff, excellent ambience
Dinner was very good but the dish I ordered was supposed to have a white wine tarragon sauce and instead came out in a light tomato sauce.
Always a pleasure!
The food was excellent. My only problem was the lack of Social Distancing.
Great good and a beautiful ambiance. Would definitely go back.
First time here. Food was really good. Service was great. Will be back again.
What a perfect lunch. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. What a joy it was to be there!
Food was overall good, but inconsistent. Grilled octopus stole the show for the appetizers, but the beet salad was bland as dust. Greek salad had the best feta we’ve ever tasted. At start our two young kids appreciated the warm bread with olive oil/butter, which the waitstaff readily replenished.
As far as timing - the mains took far too long (50min?). Sea bass and chicken souvlaki were on point, but the shrimp dish was oddly flavored. Chicken nuggets and French fries were a hit.
So, overall, count on an average of 1/3 dishes to be lackluster, while the others will shine.
Service and ambiance were lovely once they turned down the base to the latest techno beat (?).
Considering that we can’t get out to NYC and our standards are far too high, this wasn’t bad - and we may consider returning for lunch. Not sure about a proper dinner though.
I have never been disappointed at this restaurant. The food is great and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
I’ve been eating at this place for awhile and everything is always outstanding but this time service was very poor!
It was my husband’s birthday so we went there because it’s his favorite restaurant but the waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert he just brought us the check! I was very disappointed
Excellent food! We had stuffed lobster tails and the Mykonos surf and turf which was baby lamb chops with a lobster tail. Portion was plentiful and we had leftovers. Server was attentive and the owners even came by to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend!
Everything was on point. Great food and service.
one of the most under rated restaurants in the area. Excellent food and service in a nice setting
Our waiter was super sttentive and food was awesome!
Had great time at the Mykonos. The only suggestion is to add more light to the place. I would use more soft light over the tables. Our waiter, Caterina was very friendly, professional and made wonderful suggestions.
Food and service were excellent. Big portions.
George and staff set the bar for outstanding food and service. They never drop the ball.
Thank you George for always making our evenings perfect.. Cheers.
This is the second time my husband and I have had Easter dinner at Taverna Mykonos. This second time was as good as the first. The meal was tasty, the service was attentive, and the vibe was sophisticated.
Grilled Octopus -best in the world. Service is always pleasant.
It was an amazing first experience. My friend and I were both very pleased with the delicious food and service provided by Elias.
Thank you so much for everything. We will be back very soon!
Birthday celebration food was excellent and impeccable service!! Little loud tonight but overall a great experience!
Great food served hot!. Also great service! Will return.
The restaurant is beautiful, the owner greeted us and was very nice, the server, Katarina, was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great Greek food 🙌🏼👍🏼
A little frightening because there’s almost no distancing. Restaurant is fully booked. The fire alarm did not help at all. We had to go out and wait in the cold for the fireman to clear the restaurant.
Our server Katarina is always very attentive. All the staff are very friendly. The food is perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner always makes you feel welcomed
Everything (food, service, ambiance) was superb. Highly highly highly recommend this place. I’m definitely going back.
The best meal I have had in a long time. Great service, large portions and a great atmosphere. We are making this our monthly date night spot.
Great local spot for delicious Greek food. The octopus is a must!
Always a pleasure to dine here. Starting from the hospitality of owner to service and food... everything excellent.
Good food, nice place, a little pricey for somethings on the menu.
My boyfriend and I had pleasant outing at Taverna Mykonos. Food was delicious and service was prompt.
