Went with a friend, service was amazing! Loved the food. Wish there were more heaters on the patio, it was so cold
First time here & it was a classy & clean place, very sweet host seated us & great server, overall the staff was super sweet & helpful. The food was delicious & we only waited maybe 10-15 minutes for our food. We rarely go out to eat and usually get terrible service but we had a great time, thank you. Would recommend & will return!
This is our Tuesday night spot! Beautiful setting, Great food and 1/2 price bottles of wine!
I had high hopes but was disappointed.
PARKING. Get ready to walk as you have to park in a lower parking deck, walk uphill to a side street and back down the main road. There should have been a pedestrian pass-through from the deck side. Needless to say, it was windy and we froze getting to the restaurant door. One positive is they did validate the ticket. There is a valet option but it is still on the next block over so still a decent walk. I dont mind it myself but I had a disabled friend with me so it was a challenge for the longer, windy, rainy walk.
RESTAURANT. Restaurant was full and very loud so patrons kept getting louder trying to hear each other. The sample fried appetizer was very greasy. Seemed rushed to get out and was not crispy. Table ordered a Beet Salad salad to share and before we could get to it, they showed up with the main course dishes. Very rushed. The main server did not even know they brought over the food, so it appeared kitchen communication was not managed well. The dining room manager (not sure of his title) kept standing next to our table, since we were close to the host desk area, pointing over our heads giving loud orders like, "we need to get that table turned". That was somewhat annoying trying to hear over him. It seemed like they were more concerned about rushing people out so they could make more money, versus ensuring the patrons were served and happy. I had the Lamb Chop Special and they were tough and fatty. A table guest with me had a pasta dish with clams but they were so tiny, he had to keep digging around to find them. The only obvious ones were the few on top in the shells for decoration. The Creme Brulee came out heated..odd..and the sugar on top was liquid and not the typical burnt crunchy texture I was looking forward to.
At an average of $81 per person, I think we could have had a better experience elsewhere.
The food was just OK. I didn't feel it was worth the price tag.
The food lacked flavor. The service was very good, the noise level was fine as was the ambience. But, for Italian food, it was just not very good. None of us finished our meal and none of us took a take away bag.
Christmas Eve dinner with my Italian father. He loved the Osso Buco and the wine
New gluten free dough is not good! Bring back the old gluten free crust!
I wish it had been better. Service was terribly slow and when dinner finally came ( this only after we waited 40 minutes and told the waiter we wanted to leave ), mine was good, but my wife's eggplant parm was tough and not properly cooked. The manager took it off the bill and offered dessert and coffee, which was thoughtful. I have mixed feelings about another tty.
Good food, service and ambiance. I did find it to be a bit overpriced based on some of the quantities and offerings
Great food and service...strongly recommend 🎄🤠 very cozy place.
Great experience great food. Pasta made from scratch 👌🏼
Excellent service and great location. Waitress recommended the lobster and shrimp risotto special and it was great. Portions were big, huge pieces of lobster and lots if shrimp. Service very attentive.
Will definitely return!!
Great food and atmosphere. Waiter had not tried a lot of the dishes, which made him less than helpful in making recommendations!
Great food! And great $2 brunch drink specials. A rare meal where the kids actually enjoyed and ate all their food, such a treat for all of us!
Really good food, awesome atmosphere!
Brent is a super bartender and the new management is better
We always have consistent service & quality food
Loved it! Happy hour apps were perfect. Can’t go wrong.
The lasagna was exceptional as usual. My date said that their scampi was really good. The bread and calamari were very filling.
At it's pricepoint it leaves a little to be desired. Amatuer service. Too loud, and a bit uncomfortable. Food was quite good, but not enough to outweigh other shortcomings. There's too much competition for great Italian in Atlanta. You've got to bring more than homemade pasta.
I’m a regular here and LOVE it. Any option is a great option
Great spot for families in the shops but when the $6 kids Spaghetti was better than the $20 carbonara there is something more to be desired.
Very nice menu, lot of options for appetizer and entrees, good draft beer selection. Had Frito Misti and carpaccio for apps, both were excellent
For entree we had two pastas and lasagna, all were good. Waiter was very attentive without being a burden and knowledgeable about menu choices
We had lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had the chopped salad with grilled salmon and it was delicious. Our server did a great job. I would recommend it for lunch.
Great ambience, amazing food and Superblocation, highly recommend it
This place isn’t known as a “hot” spot. But the food is always good and the location is great.
Food was excellent
Excellent dishes, staff is exceptional. Very welcoming vibe, nice patio
It's good, solid food. Not great/foodie/awesome. Easy to navigate to across from the Buckhead Library - park in the garage and follow sign for "e paces ferry" exit and the exit is next to the front door. Seating is best on patio if you want a view of the passerbys. Bar is adequate. Banquets are comfortable. Go for neopolitan style pizza. Skip soup (small portion and disappointing for $10). Wines are good and varied. Salads feed two easily - wish they offered a 1/2 portion. Kid friendly.
What’s happened here? This wasn’t the same place I’d experienced before. The food quality and preparation were noticeably different. The carbonara should have been described as a soup. Slimy overcooked noodles in what appeared to be a broth rather than a sauce. Disappointing. Hopefully just and off night.
Always enjoy Taverna. Good food, good Drinks and Great service by the team.
Good service, mediocre food. You can get better Italian than this in Atlanta.
Food was too salty
My friend and I ordered a pizza, the $2 mimosas are always good but even better on a rainy Sunday! It was a very relaxing afternoon.
My pasta was overcooked at high temp and noodles were stuck together. I couldn't eat much of it, but the flavor was good and the service and ambiance are excellent. I would go again but not for the food. The outdoor area is very nice this time of year.
I did recommend it to a friend a few hours after I left and they went. Everything was nice the food was outstanding. The service was good. We were celebrating my niece two years as a Breast Cancer survivor.
It was my sisters bachelorette night out and the manager of the restaurant brought her a glass of champagne to begin the night. Since we were in a rush for a show happening after dinner, our waiter Agusto was so great about rushing our orders and getting everything done so quick without making it feel rushed. Such a great atmosphere too and such reasonable prices. Always amazing service.
Paige was an amazing server.
wait staff has improved year after year...bravo!! I love have dinner with close friends there..special place.
