What a great new place in our neighborhood!
Perfect in every aspect
We had a wonderful experience , loved the decor , the service, food was delicious and the drinks were perfect .
Go for the lobstorino!!!! Amazing!
Our server was really wonderful and the rooftop desk was very nice! Unfortunately, the food and drinks we ordered were not very good, and we both got upset stomachs afterward.
We enjoyed ourselves at the restaurant. The owners were super awesome the food was delicious. The whole atmosphere was fly! Can't wait to go back to Chicago so i can visit again!
Ribeye sandwich too much vinegar- inedible. Surf n turf burger was less than ok. Fried calamari was super good.
Amazing service. Fun cocktails, good burgers. Was just too loud (music too loud). Otherwise great place.
Food was mediocre and over priced. Service was kind of slow and limited menu
All I can say is everything here is excellent. Service and knowledge is above and beyond. Food is tremendous. Can't say enough about the quality. Drink choices are perfect.
The place itself has about 4 different atmospheres for whatever mood you're in.
Wait staff was attentive and courteous. Decor is inviting and beautiful. Offers Roof Top and Patio dining. Great square footage indoor for safe dining. Excellent menu selections and drinks are poured to perfection. This is a must try.
Enjoyed Sunday brunch on the rooftop deck. Our waitress, Carmen, was amazing. Our food was excellent and the coffee hot and tasty. We really enjoyed ourselves. Can't wait to go back and try some other brunch items.
Second time here ... food, service, etc. all great!!
Our waitress Mary Pat was exceptional but chef could be more flexible. Best food we had this long weekend in Chicago!
Great pub grub. Fantastic outdoor seating. Nice roof deck.
Most disappointing fish fry we have ever had. No taste
Steak Diane special came with mashed potatoes and was very tasty, but the portions were fairly small. Caesar salad was a bit disappointing because it had no shaved parm and dressing just so so. The Aperol Spritz cocktails (had 2) were fantastic! Just over $80 seems high to me without some left over to take home.
This was our second visit in two weeks. We sat at a rooftop table and were lucky to get Kathy as our wait person again. ALL the staff really pays attention to the guests whether it's the hostesses who greet you and show you to your table, the folks bussing and sanitizing the tables, and certainly the wait staff. Kudos to the kitchen and bar folks as well.
Such a great date night spot! The food was incredible, you can tell it’s quality!
Always good food & service!
We sat at the bar to have some cocktails and share an app and sandwich. Bob the bartender was a lot of fun and makes one hell of an old fashioned. It was a great night out to watch a little Monday Night Football, covid style.
We have been several times and the food and service is always fantastic. Noise level was a bit higher than usual because it was during a Bears game. Otherwise noise is moderate.
Overall a good experience for our group. We would definitely go back.
Omg! The food was great!
I was concerned about the amount of people upstairs together and people standing at the bar not wearing masks and getting close to tables. We were moved to a safer space which was super accommodating of the manager but I was concerned that nobody was enforcing the rules. Workers were also not wearing masks over their nose which bothered me. Our second waitress was very attentive, sweet, and made the experience much better!
My first time at Tavern on Point was not what I expected. It is more of a bar than a restaurant and I was taken by surprise. Our server was very nice and the food was above average. Not sure if i would go back
Had Sunday brunch with some friends before the Bears' game. The food was fabulous, the service was prompt. Our waitress Paige was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves on the beautiful rooftop deck. Ramon is an amazingly attentive person. He was not our server but was in charge of the rooftop tables making sure they were clean and sanitized, dishes were cleared in a timely fashion, brought more water, to go containers, etc. His attention to detail is 5 star quality.
Nice place to grab a drink on the rooftop. Great customer service
Great time , only issue good was delayed upon receiving my food it was cold . Server showed empathy and manger came over. I voiced my concern she apologized compd my food. Great recovery. We will be back again
Our server was great, and even moved us to a better table upon request, as ours was originally in the corner under the harsh lights on the rooftop! The food was really good as well. My only complaint would be that the outdoor tables were definitely too close together for social distancing.
Great place. Delicious food!!!!
Great drinks and food! Loved the atmosphere! Lots of
Friends got together for drinks and dinner. We sat upstairs outside and loved it.
Our party of three dined on the rooftop on a perfectly gorgeous late afternoon. Kathy O was our server and she was excellent -- very attentive with a wonderful sense of humor. The food (filet sliders and build your own burgers) and ambiance were outstanding. Sadly, the weather is changing so we probably won't have another opportunity for rooftop dining any time soon, but we can always sit downstairs in the restaurant. Bravo, TOTP. Your restaurant is an Edison Park gem.
Came here for my birthday with my family and had an AWESOME time! Joe, our bartender and server was a rockstar. He knew the menu in and
Out and made a killer old fashioned. Great suggestions on food and the restaurant week offering was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!
Great new spot in Edison Park! A must stop!!
Bartender at lower level made us the best drink which she suggested. Our salads were outstanding with lots of greens and full of flavor. We sat on the terrace which it provided the perfect view.
This place was terrific!! We had a fantastic time. The food was amazing, the service was perfect. I'll be back!
Brick Chiken very good, Brussels spout very tasty. Needs larger wine menu and bread or crackers for dinner,
Very nice but a little loud with the music when it got more crowded.
