Very good local spot. Not trendy by any means and not a destination choice but if you are in Meatpacking/West village area - it is a great option for lunch or casual dinner. Food is good and very tasty, ingredients are fresh and there are many choices on the menu for classic comfort American food and some innovative twists. Service is quick and efficient! And the stuff is friendly and not overbearing. Place is quiet (for lunch) and sometimes that's what you need in busy New York. Overall: Yes, I recommend this place! And yes, I will be back!

Food was good. Waiter messed up my order...I ordered the half steak sandwich and salad and got a full chicken sandwich with salad. Once he brought the food he was rarely seen. Restaurant only had a few patrons at the time. He did give us a free dessert which was nice.

Not a great Saturday brunch. Back room was not vented. Food was bland and lukewarm. Tomatoe chunk in a breakfast burrito still had the grocery store sticker affixed. Table was sticky from prior patrons. Highlight of the meal was server's tacit recognition that we would not want to wrap up the plentiful left-overs.

This place was a surprise, it was relatively inexpensive, but the food was delicious. The service was good, the staff was pleasant, and we felt really welcome in the restaurant. Our group had the fried calamari, soup, sandwiches, and dessert. Everything arrived in good time, and the food was really fresh. We'll definitely try this place again. So many places in the village cater to an upscale clientele, but this place seems like it's out of the "old days" in NY, no hype, just good service, good food, and nice, simple atmosphere.

This reservation was for a lunch for a small wedding. The back room can hold about 20 ppl, we had 15. The food, service, and staff were great. Our group had a lovely time!

Perhaps we went at an odd time, but the restaurant was mostly empty. This led to very attentive service and the feeling that this would be a good place for secret deal making! Food was okay, nothing special.
