We didn’t get the table I had reserved, but they still had one so it was ok.

As a gluten free diner I always have a great meal! They are so accommodating & their GF menu is delicious!!!

PROS: Loved the taste of entree, glazed salmon with brussel sprouts and rizzotto. CONS: 1. there were only 4 brussel sprouts with my dinner, super scarce. I would have liked at least 1 cup! (for $24 entree). 2. This place is super noisy. Yes, it's a sports bar - so buyer beware, if you want to talk, don't come here. The sound level is harsh!

Quick service, good food, lots of beer on tap. Sadly the person sitting right behind me may have been the most annoying customer I've ever heard, LOL. Tavern in the Square is a spot that I've been tons of times, and it's consistently good and rarely disappoints.

Food as always was delicious, generous portions. Only negative was how cold it was at our table. We were seated on the “3” season patio and it was freezing. We were there the night before Thanksgiving, and even though I had made a reservation a week earlier, I would’ve thought they might’ve given us a better location, but since it was so crowded I didn’t even entertain asking for a different table.

Tavern is a great place to enjoy a meal and your company in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Our food was delicious. I love the creativeness of the menu. Our server was very friendly!

Our server was wonderful, the appetizers and drinks were incredible, and it’s always a good place to go with friends.

Waitress was friendly. Food was ok, we ordered two burgers and one had cold undercooked bacon, the other nearly raw. Sent both back, and manager brought two new ones without a word. They wound up charging extra for bacon in the burger even though they came with bacon! I had the general Gao’s chicken which was rather bland.

On the good, the nachos were good.

Our server was terrific. The restaurant also let us give tribute to one of our friends who recently passed away by leaving a shot in their honor, going above and beyond, recognizing their memory, and paying tribute to their service.

Service was great and they even brought out a candle for a birthday!

Food and Service was good. Missed the Sunday Brunch.

We frequent Tavern quite a bit for their GF options and always have great food and service! This trip was definitely unusual, our meals were delicious, but they were delivered before our appetizer and other people’s drinks were mistakenly added to our bill. It was all taken care of swiftly. My guess would be they were short staffed in the kitchen. We will definitely be going back.

At our table, we had the steak tips, mac and cheese and the salmon... all were delicious!

A decent spot, but keep your expectations low. Nothing terribly bad, just not fantastically good.

A group of former colleagues gathered to catch up. The location in Lowell was central for us, but the volume of noise made conversation challenging. Our waitperson was attentive and food arrived promptly. There was a great selection of beverages, but the nachos were a pile of chips with the cheese not well distributed and the salsa, sour cream and guacamole were in small dishes on the side.

The overall is good, but I can't say i will especially go to this place

Very disappointing experience I have always enjoyed going to this restaurant, however today will make me think twice about going back to this location. Despite having a reservation, I waited 15 minutes at the counter before the hostess would even acknowledge me. Once seated we waited 15 minutes or longer to be acknowledged and place a drink order. The glass of wine came in the dirtiest and filthiest glass I've ever seen and it was sent back and we waited 20 minutes before my drink was delivered again. We then had to ask the server if we could place an order of which he responded he would be back in a few minutes and returned to the table 15 minutes later. When the food was delivered to the table we then had to wait another 5 minutes to be given silverware, after asking 5 different staff.

I understand things are tough in the industry but honestly this was a first and not acceptable. Management I hope you are reading this because your team needs the intervention!

It was great!

Had dinner in their outdoor covered patio. The service was great. I always get the Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese. It is really tasty and I get an extra meal or two at home thanks to the leftovers.

Tyler was great, super pleasant and helped me through all my modifications! Would ask for him next time for sure!

Good food at decent prices. The Sox were having a playoff game so it was a little loud when we were there but that was totally understandable. Service was friendly and our reserved table was waiting upon arrival despite a long waiting line outside. Will definitely eat there again the next time we are in town.

Conveniently located to Showcase cinema was biggest plus. 3 of 4 diners felt food was just okay. It was very loud tonight but it was ACLS game on—can’t fault for that. Drinks and appetizer were best part of meal.

Food was good, service was good. Only complaint was I wish there were more lunch options available on the Brunch menu.

Bathroom in bad condition!

We liked the large outdoor "hard top" area with radiant heaters in the ceiling. The TV volume was super loud though - I know it's a sports bar and the Sox were on but we had to yell to be heard across the table.

As is every restaurant these days they are a little short staffed.

Waitress was not attentive at all. Had to bring the check to the register after waiting for 30 minutes after lunch.

Good alternative to national chains nearby. A decent meal.

Return of Brady. Was worried everywhere would be packed but Open Seat allowed us right in.

Service was very slow. Food was not hot enough.

We were looking for a convenient lunch spot with a diverse menu and outdoor seating. We found all at the Tavern in Lowell. Our salads and sandwiches were very good. The Tavern offered a respectable wine selection and good service.

Went here on a spur of the moment. Love the menu! Best nachos and truffle tots. Four of us all ordered different dishes, and all were satisfied and full. I ordered Mac and cheese and seems like I will be eating this creamy dish for two more days, as there was so much! Great food and awesome, attentive staff.

The Tavern on the Square is great choice due to both inside and outside dining. We enjoyed the food and there were plenty of choices for all tastes. The service was great, our server was friendly, stopped by often to see if we needed anything else.
Would recommend the Tavern on the Square in Lowell for sure.

We had Sydney as our sever. She did great! She got everyone’s order correct despite all the noise around us. Our food was served in a timely manner. It wasn’t cold or smaller than expected, in fact everyone enjoyed their food A LOT and the portion matched up to the amount of our hunger.
