Our table was ready when we arrived (a few minutes early) our server was attentive, food and drinks were tasty & arrived in a timely manner. Food allergies at our table were properly addressed & identified. Red Sox game was on over our table. It was great!

Joined a group of current coworkers and retirees. Great atmosphere, food was outstanding, always a good variety. Our table enjoyed appetizers, salads and entrees. All remarked how good everything was. Pricing is decent for what you get. Our server Zoie was attentive and even suggested a few things when we could not decide. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

This was the only place near the movie theater which took late reservations. We have been to other locations. Good..pretzels, salad with steak. Not so great bolognese , Mac and cheese. Too heavy. The bolognese wasn’t actually bolognese. Hamburger was fine. Iced tea tasted artificial. Very slow between pretzels and main course. Too dark to read menu and see food clearly. Turn up the lighting.

Highly recommend the whipped feta appetizer with pita. Very unique and delicious. Service was attentive yet patient when we were engrossed in conversation before ordering entree. I will definitely return.

We love eating at Tavern in the Square because the food is always great and the gluten free food is safe for us and our daughter who has a gluten allergy and is very sensitive to gluten.

I have been to the Tavern on multiple occasions, mostly for brunch, and it has been exceptional. We went for Mother's Day and it was a bit disappointing. It could have been just the day, but the service/server was slow. We sat quickly for our reservation, the server came right over, placed our drink and appetizer order. Appetizers took a long time to come out. And then our food came right out after the apps. The breakfast was just ok. Fish and Chips and a pasta dish were much better. It will be a while before I venture back.
