Tavern at Windsor Park
Pot roast was great! Paired with a nice cold Smithwicks. Very friendly service.
Good place to meet up for lunch or with a group friends. If you have picky friends/ family or aren't in the mood for a fussy meal, this is a good spot. Someone is bound to find something they enjoy off the menu. To sum up, this place has solid pub/bar food. Personally, I wish it was a tad more daring in the English pub fare realm, but it works as a real crowd pleaser place. Menu is extensive with sandwiches, burgers, and snacks... I feel like if you're really into sandwiches, this is a spot to eat at. All in all, solid restaurant with quality food and service.
tables for four were the size of tables for two... the "manager" put us in the back room when there were obviously tables elsewhere and my mother was using a cane because she had obvious trouble walking... waitress was nowhere to be seen...
Mothers Day Brunch was excellent. Each mother was given a rose. The buffet was huge, if you left hungry there’s something wrong with you. The waitresses were all pleasant.
We were seated right away, had no trouble hearing each other, and our server came over quickly. She didn’t seem to be a very good listener, but nothing major. The apps and entrees were tasty. They weren’t too busy, so we were able to hang out for a while without feeling like we were being burdensome. I’d definitely go back.
I really like the menu and the beer selection.
Very nice set up. Decent prices. Good amount of food but because sandwiches were large, made it tricky and messy to eat.
It was our 3rd time dining here, 2nd time on a Friday. Food is good & music as well. A huge assortment of beer on tap. Not overpowering, you can carry on a normal conversation even with all the activity going on. Definitely recommend eating here. Will be back for Mother’s Day Brunch.
Food was ok but nothing special. Our server was very nice and attentive.
Service was mediocre. Had to ask to be seated for our reservation since the host made no effort to locate us. The food was lacking in flavor and overall we were disappointed. At least there was live music- a small bright spot on the night.
Restaurant Week special menu was very generous and delicious !
Food was just ok, service was on the slow side. Was there for Restaurant Week
We always enjoy the food here. Staff is always very friendly and the service is great
Delicious fish and chips; liked that it came in small and large portions. Lots of menu items to choose from.
Lots of pub fare, some of it English. Burgers 10 different ways. I had one and it was good.
Lots of beer, too.
Great fish and chips. The stuffed banana pepper appetizer was outstanding.
We eat here all the time. The British Pub food is amazing!
Wasn’t for us. The food was just okay for the cost.
Folks that run the Tavern are friendly and engaging, food is good and affordable - best Friday Fish anywhere locally! Wait service is top shelf too and they look out for everyone, from the youngest on up.
Awesome food and service. Love the menu with something for everyone
We experienced mediocre food and mediocre service. The place was lively, but I won't return.
Always enjoy the Tavern. Food is great , service is always fast and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.
Great dinner. My husband and son had the fish and chips and I had the steak & ale veggies. Delicious! Service was good too. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I plan on going back again sometime.
Food was mediocre, waitress wasn’t brilliant. Attempted to pay with a gift card, she charged to full amount to my card and had to void the transaction. She didn’t have any sense of urgency, only visited our table to take the order and deliver the food. Had to flag her down for more napkins. Probably won’t visit again
Very good Service Paula was great very attentive.
Our first visit good atmosphere extensive menu delicious food would definitely recommend and will return for sure
Went for New Year’s Eve with friends. We all had the prime rib which was great. Listened to the band and had a few cocktails. Nice pleasant evening. Would highly recommend.
Good meal and service. Waitress was very good. Food was hot and tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Jorge was an excellent waiter. Food was hot and served in a timely manner.
Brunch was so-so. Very small menu - maybe 12 items. Best part was the BOGO bloody mary or mimosa. Food was of average quality. Had the egg platter, egg, hash browns, sausage and toast. Corned beef was homemade and very good. The Egg special was very good also. Service was so-so. Once the bar got busy because of the Bills game our server forgot us. Lucky for us we were fine since we were with friends and talking - total time there was 3 hours. I probably wouldn't go again for brunch but the burgers looked really good.
A fine place to catch a relaxed bite, eat comfort food, and chat! It's our "fall back" place for sure!
We loved the relaxed ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress was so friendly and fun.....we actually invited her to come sit with us for a drink when she finished her shift..... knowing of course that wasn't possible! She was totally professional and offered some good suggestions for dinner. Two out of three of us had the fish and chips which we both thought was outstanding and our other friend had a burger which she was very pleased with. We are all beer drinkers and enjoyed the varied choices. Service was extremely efficient and the live music was very enjoyable. We will be back!
Restaurant Week. Price was good. Fish was grossly over cooked. Crab cake inedible.
Went for Local Restaurant Week. It's mainly an upscale diner. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about. The stuffed cod isn't stuffed. It's crab stuffing sitting under some broiled fish. The fish and chips was a nice portion with a spicy slaw on the side. The apps were good. Might drop in again if I'm out that way, but there are a lot of choices in that area these days.
Pub like atmosphere with a moderate noise level on the Saturday night we were there.
The menu is varied; we enjoyed the meat loaf dinner and “bangers and mash” meals.
Michelle, our server, was cheerful and efficient, happily answering our questions on menu choices.
An enjoyable evening - we’ll return again.
We choose to fo to the restaurant as part of Restaurant week. The restaurant week menu was very generous and the food was delicious. Great value and well be back other than restaurant week.
Generally the food is ok here, had never been to brunch, my waffle was good as was the french toast. Sausages were undercooked (but waitress took them off the bill) . The Mac and Cheese had no real flavor and for the Mucha Luca for brunch, they were out of chili, so we really didn't get the full flavor of it. Two for one Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's are well priced and the second one was delivered without our asking. Bloody Mary's had a bit too much hoarse radish in it though.
Just had a quick cup of soup with a friend....it was delicious and we were able to catch up with our conversation! The server checked on us regularly and let us linger a bit with no rushing. Windsor Park is a go to place for my friends and me ! Give it a try for dinner too!!! Yum...Ft31
Staff very nice food is good. Luv the popcorn!
Fish and chips were not authentic. Chips were of the frozen style and severely undercooked. In their defense, I did mention this to the server after the fact. She said they would have gotten me new ones, but didn't offer anything else (discount, etc.)
