Great food. Great staff. Great experience!
Great-will be back!
To be fair - we can’t comment about the food. Looking forward to trying it - made reservations & showed up. The girl at the hostess stand told us “we changed our Sunday hours and haven’t changed them on open table.” Our reservations were for 4:15 and they had changed to serving dinner starting at 5. She then said if you want something at our lobby cafe (snack stuff) or have an app at the bar until we open. Normally not that big of a deal but considering we just spent $15 on an uber and it’s a down pour of rain outside & her response didn’t include any type of apology or maybe offering a drink while we waited was bad customer service. Ended up having to uber some place else and disappointed that it was dealt with by such poor customer service. Perhaps training the hostess would be a huge benefit for this establishment. (Especially given that there are so many other places to eat in Nashville)
Brunch was great. Portions were pretty big. Server was awesome! We also went up to the rooftop bar and our server, Juice, was AMAZING!! We all loved her. The watermelon/basil margarita we got in a pitcher was delicious! Highly recommend the brunch and bar!
Thank you, Alexandra, for your ready smile and FABULOUS service. We had a wonderful time and some of the BEST “bar” food...burger, croque monsieur and braised short ribs. Can’t wait to go back. Ps. Dessert was wonderful, too...Creme brûlée, bananas foster pudding and pumpkin spice ice cream cookie sandwich. Oh my!!!
Our waiter was fantastic. I wish I could recall his name because he made our dinner experience perfect! This was his first day back from injuring his hand and did a wonderful job responding to my need for “immediate” food to quench my hunger😁. His suggestions were spot on. I’ll definitely be back again!
Best meal I have had in a while and I dine out a lot at great restaurants.
Great vib, great menu
The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was amazing!
Great food, but service was sooo slow.
Served us a raw burger when ordered medium well. At least they didn’t charge us for it. Last time they forgot duck with duck dish. I thought I’d try it again because the ambiance is great. We won’t be back.
Alexandra was a fantastic server!! Food was good only “complaint” is chicken was added to the Man’oushe for protein and it jacked the price to $23! There wasn’t enough chicken on the item to warrant that cost!
Service was terrible, it took around 30 mins to get our drink order in and around 15 before anyone talked to us. Food was very good but the staff was just overwhelmed.
Food and wine was excellent, as well as a waiter Stevie!
It was amazing, we will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family!
Good food, great atmosphere and friendly staff
The food was pretty good but the service was SO slow and the restaurant was not even full. Two of the items we tried to order they were out of, and again, it was not late and the restaurant was not full. We ordered a 2nd bottle of wine that never came and after 30 minutes they brought it and we said no thank you. our food took an hour to come out and it was some time before they took our order. It is a beautiful place, and if they had better overall service I would recommend.
Overall the experience was good. The food was excellent. Our service was slower than previous dining at the Tavern/ our server appeared to have too many tables.
We made reservations at Tavern due to its close proximity to TPAC and a new hip vibe. Our burgers were spot on with a delicious green tomato jam and tasty brioche bun. The preceding salad with the green goddess dressing was also good and easy for two to share. We concluded the dinner with the Meyer lemon cream brûlée which had just the right amount of sweetness. Our server, Alexandria was fantastic keeping our dishes coming promptly so we could get to our event on time but never feeling rushed. Would definitely go back again.
Excellent dinner! We will definitely go back! The short ribs were the best!
This is a really interesting place to see...decor and vibe were very good. We had brunch and enjoyed it. Menu choices were average, but food was good. Biscuits and gravy were especially good. I can best describe our service as a bit lackadaisical...not much attention for coffee, water, other needs. May have just caught them on an off morning.
Great brunch spot before walking to Bridgestone! They have done a great job with the decor! Valet parking was too easy! Good food, decent prices, and service was okay - not the best, but not terrible either. We were happy to have a slower brunch without feeling rushed.
It was amazing and our waiter Doug was so great!! He did such a good job. We are from Idaho and don’t get to have such fun dining experiences and this one was worth every cent. Thank you for all the fun and the amazing food and drinks. Please make sure our server Doug knows how much we appreciate the great service.
First visit did not disappoint. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and sat immediately. Server was a native Nashvillian and was very outgoing. The burger lived up to its billing. Wife had the strip and it was cooked perfectly. Will be coming back soon..
Stevie and Kayla were awesome and a true asset to Taver at Bobby. Make sure to try the shrimp and grits. So good! Very enjoyable experience.
The service was TERRIBLE. We were seated at 5:45 and didn’t leave until 7:45. We waited 10 minutes for someone to greet us at our table. Our server was slow and very overwhelmed. To be fair, it looked like there were only two servers for the entire dining room. He was a nice enough guy but It took way to long to get in and out. Several other tables looked frustrated and one group of girls got up and left because no one ever came over to them. The food was good and priced fairly but we had to wait a long time in between drinks so it was hard to enjoy the experience.
Food was great, the restaurant was not busy and our service was not good. Our drinks took at least 15 minutes each round and there was no one at the bar and a handful of tables, so we didn’t understand the delay.
Surprising how good the food is at this hotel restaurant. We shared a couple appetizers and small plates, and every single dish was excellent. Well done! I do question the attire of the servers - not a big deal, but somehow just doesn't seem to fit with your decor - a little country/western for your oh so unique chic.
Service was slow, the waitress did not check on us frequently even though it wasn’t busy. It took about 45 min to get drinks, they brought out the wrong food but they did comp it since we didn’t have time to get it fixed. Not my favorite spot.
The food was good, but unfortunately the service was very slow. As an example we received our appetizers before we received our first round of drinks. I would not recommend going here with a bigger group or for a business dinner.
Our group praised the ambiance and decor. Everyone enjoyed their food with a couple of exceptions.
While the braised short ribs were excellent, the greens were oversalted. The fries served with the steaks were soggy and limp. The desserts were a hit especially the lemon creme brulee and the butterscotch concoction. However, the service was not only slow but disjointed. Clearly the server and assistant could use additional training.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Food was amazing! I will definitely be back!
1st time at Tavern. Food was superb, service pretty good, but server was a rookie with a few things to learn. Not a major complaint by any means. Wine list was somewhat limited, but Tavern would not allow you to bring your own wine in. Sometimes people have special bottles they want to bring, and that would apparently not be allowed at the Tavern. On those occasions, one would have to choose a different restaurant other than Tavern at Bobby. I guess that's really a minor complain, but a complaint nevertheless, as it is contrary to the policy of almost any fine restaurant. Almost all do allow that and most charge a corkage, which no one bringing in their own wine would object to.
Some of the best craft cocktails I’ve had. Dinner was divine. We had the rabbit rigatoni and the Steak Frites both were perfectly seasoned and prepared. Wasn’t loud at all and had a very nice ambiance. Would make a a very nice place for a special occasion. Also has a large dining room that would be great for large gatherings such as Birthdays or Anniversaries.
Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Highly recommend. Food and ambiance were perfect. Great for special occasions.
Friendly, accommodating and delicious!
The food was excellent. No wait, and our waiter Doug was amazing! Very accommodating and a fun atmosphere.
We went for lunch especially for the cheeseburger!!
We were not disappointed!!
Cooked perfectly w excellent bun.
Fries were just fair.
Very cool hotel and restaurant, a great experience!!
Great service by Doug and great food!
