Our waiter, Chase, become increasingly incoherent as the night progressed. We asked if he was ok and he couldn’t even answer us. I hope someone finds out what was wrong with him ie alcohol or drugs? The food and value was just so-so. Probably won’t return but wish them well.
One of our favorites
The food is very good. I love their menus and how they're interactive. The noise level seems higher than other restaurants because of the bar area.
There was a party of 150 people and the noise level was awful when we first walked in. It did quiet
down and the overall experience was great. The food was outstanding and the waiter was good. He was
alone in the dining room because the other servers were dealing with the party, but he did very well.
We will be back.
A hidden gem. Food and drink are superb. Steaks were cooked as ordered and the sides are large, so you might want to share. The chocolate cake caps off a memorable meal.
Friendly knowledgeable wait staff.
Good variety on the menu. Creative flavorful dishes without being bizarre.
We chose to sit in the bar as it was a very quiet Sunday evening. The bartender selected a perfect wine for me when I described what i liked in a wine. We have always had a good experience here.
The dining area was cold. We had to put on coats to be comfortable. The seafood salads had very little seafood. The soup and sandwich was good as was the edame.
Food was mostly okay, but Waygu Beef Tenderloin came out undercooked. One asked for medium and the other medium rare and both came medium rare. Also the Ultimate Soup and Sandwich was served cold. The drinks were pretty impressive, but at $14 a piece they should be. We had a signature cocktail that is served over dry ice, which I would recommend. However, with a bill of over $350 for 3 people I would expect excellent service, to which they did not deliver. Our server was more attentive to other tables that arrived after us, we had quite a long wait time even when it was not busy, and when the server boxed and bagged up our dinners, he left out the Wagyu Beef Tenderloin, which I might add was a over half of $60 dinner that we didn't get to take home. Overall, super unimpressed. Until they fix their service, save yourself a trip and go somewhere else.
Food was wonderful
We were a party of 10 on Easter Sunday for a late brunch. The hostess had our table ready and waiting. The waiter promptly took our drink orders, followed by lunch orders. Everything we had was absolutely well prepared and delicious. I recommend Tavern 180 to anyone looking for a great meal with attentive service!
Service was very slow. We waited 20 min before we asked someone to send our waiter over to take our order. We were the only customers at the time.
First time eating there. Great food with interesting flavor combinations. The jalapeño bacon Brussels sprouts were great. It wasn’t what we expected — with the name Tavern we weren’t expecting it to be a tablecloth restaurant. But pleasantly surprised! Sure is loud though. Was very difficult to hold a conversation at our table with all the ambient noise. It hits you as soon as you open the front door.
Food was outstanding! Excellent service and nice ambiance. Highly recommend.
We enjoy dinner at Tavern 180. The food is always very good, & service is polite and friendly. We will return.
We always have a great time.
The meal was great. The Steaks were done just the way we wanted them. The noise level was a little more than you would normally expect. The reason for the noise is they have a bar in the same building.
Our lunch experience at Tavern 180 was wonderful!
The food was delicous! The puff pastry dinner rolls melted in our mouths. The started dinner salad was crispy and blue cheese dressing exceeded our expectations. The seafood bisque topped with puff pastry was phenomenal! The shrimp and crab tower was a healthy lunch choice, yet certainly filling.
Our server, Bailey, was personable and attentive, adjusting for my onion allergy and refilling my iced tea before I ran out. She made an effort to get to know us. The only unpleasant thing about our experience was the waitress attire, apparently dictated by management. The skimpy outfit is repulsive for women diners and overly revealing for children.
I had the best French Dip I have ever had in my life! My wife also enjoyed her salmon and risotto. Can't wait to go back and try the beef tenderloin!
We had reservations the night after a blizzard, so the restaurant was not very busy at all. I don’t know what the usual noise level is like. This was our first visit. Our service was excellent as was all of the food. We will definitely go back!
First time to try Tavern 180, and we will definitely be back. My wife claims the risotto that came with the salmon was the best she’s ever had. Ever. (That’s how she said it.). Burgundy mushrooms were superb. Burger very good, fries a little on the greasy side for my preference but good. Soup and house salad with balsamic dressing were great starters out front of the entrees. Tried the brussels as a second side, which I will call “second best in Omaha”. Also very good.
Atmosphere was nice, especially the bar area. Dining room was quiet and comfortable. Large white “Tavern 180” sign in the dining area was an odd piece of post-sale branding and in my opinion cheapened the overall feel of the room. The rest of the ambiance was inviting, upscale casual. No jacket required, but I would round higher than a t shirt and flip flops.
Love to see great cuisine out west. We will be back.
We always have a good time at Tavern 180; the food and service are always top notch.
We had a great meal and the service was great.
Very good and the pictures of the food can change your mind before you order.
Love the food here. It's amazing. Our waitress was very poor. Waited 20 minutes after another waitor picked up our plates before she returned to our table. It was very frustrating because we live the food but wait staff needs to be more aware.
We went for Valentine's day and had on of their specials for that day. Food and service were very good, but the noise level was just too much. I think it would help if they eliminated the big opening in the wall between the bar and the dining area.
My wife and I went here for the first time the other night. The waiter was very pleasant and knowledge on the menu and wine selection. The food we ate was delicious and decent portions were served. This is not a place to go if you are looking for moderate or a inexpensive night out. We'd go again for a special occasion.
Great service and quality of food.
The food was incredible! The service was even better! Definitely recommend the Tavern Wagyu Hanging Tenderloin with asparagus risotto!!
Tavern 180 has a varied and interesting menu. The food was delicious and had lovely presentation. Service was EXCELLENT!
Food was nice and their Tavern Bubbles drink was fenomenal 👍
Our first time here as we’re newbies in Omaha. Trendy modern restaurant with great food and a memorable Top Shelf bar...we’ll be back!
Great date place but also good for Families. Chip and dip appetizer was wonderful. Hubby raves about Wagyu burger and I had the French dip. It was all great. Attentive server.
The food was delicious and the server did a nice job of attending to us. The lights could be a little dimmer for a more interesting ambience. Overall very good!
We enjoyed the food and server!!! She was knowledgeable helpful and available!!!
The food came quickly after we ordered-- was hot and very tasty.
The only critique we would have is the noise level. It was a full house and VERY noisy!!!
A friends 50th birthday
Love this restaurant
Order the trifecta. Not a lot to eat for the price, but the meat was unbelievable!
for the price, food could have been better. Wedge salad had mostly hard yellow core. Ambiance/decor needs improvement. Noise level was very high. Service could have been more attentive.
Food was outstanding. Definitely get the steaks. The actual dining area lacks much atmosphere but the food makes up for it.
