Separate email sent directly to Resturant regarding appalling service
Took my daughter for her 18th Birthday, we were made to feel very special. Our waitress was lovely with perfect service. Will definitely book again for a special occasion.
Our server was amazing, we asked him for his recommendations and we went ahead with all that he suggested and it gave us a fantastic experience and a general vibe for the food at Tattu! The restaurant had a fantastic vibe throughout the evening, we were looked after every step of the way! Amazing dining experience, definitely would recommend!
We waited a long time between courses. Some of our food was cold as if it had been waiting for some time. The brownie dessert was disappointing and dry. Given the expensive prices we expected a much better meal and experience.
Food was amazing despite selling out of dishes that we particularly went to try. Staff were very attentive and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definately be going back
As always when we visit Tattu, the food is exceptional as is the atmosphere. I don't know what happened tonight but we were celebrating my partner's birthday. There were four of us.
Whilst the wait for food was reasonable the wait for drinks was appalling. Each drink taking 15 to 20 mins (and having to remind them) to arrive. I only actually had 2 drinks the entire meal due to this.
My partner ordered an English breakfast tea to go with her dessert. She got it and the waiter asked if she would like milk, to which she replied 'yes please'.
After reminding the waiter again after 15 minutes, the tea was actually cold by the time the milk arrived.
When asking us if everything had been ok we told him the wait for the milk had made the tea cold. He said well it's a black Asian tea it's not meant to have milk anyway. She said I ordered English breakfast tea. He said well we don't sell that tea. When we stated its on the menu, he just walked off.
When we got the bill. It clearly said English breakfast tea.
Not epic tonight Tattu. Good great. Ambience a little off as we were in a cold corner. Service very, very poor.
The food was great as usual but there were a LOT of dishes not available. All in all not the best birthday experience.
Excellent food, excellent service and the perfect setting. We had the set menu, 30% Off January special deal and nothing was short of a normal menu. We took four friends who had never been before and they were simply blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the evening.
I was pleased with the food we ate, however nearly everything we wanted to order was not available.
This was somewhat frustrating as we were only advised that nearly half the menu wasn’t available after we had sat down and ordered drinks.
Ok but won’t be rushing back.
Beautiful place, beautiful food! Brilliant service! Thanku!
A bit disappointing that 5 items not available on the menu and when we wanted to order coffee to go with desert we were informed the coffee machine was broken.
I have a shellfish allergy and they were especially good at explaining which dishes may contain it and also the type.
The food was very enjoyable, however the service let the experience down a little. I have been before and didn't receive the same service, small things such as topping up water etc could be improved. It was reasonably busy but there were a lot of staff on.
We had a lovely meal, we chose the set menu 1 as we had never been before. All of the 'waves' were delicious. The only thing I would have preferred was if the music was not so loud.
It was quite pleasant . I went for the set menu and I didn’t
Like some of the plates that came out. I found them a little tasteless. Some of the dishes were however, out of this world.
We had an amazing experience at Tattu Leeds the food was amazing so tasty and light no grease, and the staff can’t do enough for you.
The music was very loud. They run out of a lot of things, so that was a little bit dissapointing. You wont expect that in such a high quality restaurant. Service was OK although we said we didnt like some ingredients and they brought it with them anyway. They charged a 10% of service (voluntary but its already in the bill).
The food was very nice but overpriced.
It was perfect, we got engaged on our last visit and it was made so much better by the atmosphere and lovely waitress who was as excited as us!
Fab evening other than we were sat in the front part of the restaurant with the wall heaters and it was absolutely freezing. Food and service were fantastic.
Amazing food and top service. Expensive but worth it for a treat
By far the best food I have had in a long time. It was our first visit to Tattu and it didn’t disappoint. The venue is beautiful, service was on point and the food was so tasty.
Amazing food, probably one of the best I've taste and the service was even better! The small and large plates were on the more expensive side but the dessert was amazing value for money - we shared 1 between 2 of us and still could only manage to eat 2 thirds of it!
Can’t fault it lived up to our expectation amazing food service fantastic look forward to going back again
I would recommend because I have been many times but this time was very poor food and service but this was the first time it’s been this bad. The food was cold on many started plates (never had that before). The waiter was no where to be seen. We even had to go to the bar to order drinks. We tried to pay the bill and couldn’t get service for 15 minutes and soon as we paid he asked us to leave the area to finish drinks at the bar (at the request of his manager) yet we found ourselves waiting for him all the times. The waves of food were particularly slow. Dessert is usually a highlight at Tatu but this time the brownies were tough and hard and the wontons were cold and bendy rather than like a crisp. I love Tattu but this time I was a little shocked with how poor it was. I am there again on Tuesday with a colleague hopefully it was a one off.
Our first time and we are coming back soon, staff was great, and music wasn’t too loud so could here each other
Couldn’t fault the food it was lovely. But just thought it was a little over priced for what you get. The gentleman serving us couldn’t fault him. The lady who greeted us in to our table, both myself and partner thought she could have been a bit more welcoming. It’s more the attention to detail I would like to point out. Chop sticks-offer a bowl especially if serving rice to the table. Napkins there were no napkins on the table or a finger dipping bowl, as candy floss on top of a dessert to share may of been handy. Also we ordered a bottle of wine to share, this was placed in an ice bucket away from us,we could see it, but guessed it maybe to save room around us but it was in a table height bucket which could have been placed at the end of our table. But other than that it is a lovely restaurant, very pretty. Both my partner and I said it’s one of those place in where we’d recommend people to go for the experience. Is reason we had visited, but we feel we may not ourselves visit again now we’ve been. But the monkfish was to die for!!
Amazing food. Amazing service. Jordan whom served us was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Fabulous bar service but poor table service, left waiting for orders etc. Not much interaction from waitress seemed uninterested. Prices expensive for very small portions.
Visited on a Friday evening. Table booked for set time but wasn’t available to sit down until 45 minutes later.
Advised by server that numerous dishes were unavailable. And then waiting a further 30 minutes to have order taken.
We finally began to eat over 1hour After table was booked.
Starters were nice however the Main dishes were bland and lukewarm.
Seabass was dry and small definitely not worth £20
Overhyped and extremely underwhelmed
Drinks and Waiter were impeccable, Food was magnificent the only gripe was that it didn’t all arrive together, my husband was waiting 15 mins for his main course from mine being on the table which was a little disappointing considering.
Excellent food and setting. Only criticism would be waiting half an hour for a table after booking whilst they sell you a drink.
Had the best food I’ve had in a long time. The black cod was absolutely stunning. The place itself is beautiful and the staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. Well done Tattu Leeds x
Rather expensive, the food was ordinary/good. Service was good, tha waiter was very friendly. There was an issue with the hand dryer in the gents toilet.
Perfect place for couples to celebrate anniversaries or birthdays, cocktails were excellent, live DJ made the atmosphere good for celebrating a 21st Birthday. The food was tasty but could possibly do with expanding and creating a more adventurous vegan menu.
Stunning food with beautiful surroundings , lovely for a special occasion.
Amazing food great atmosphere lovely staff. Good selection of drinks
Tattu is a really nice venue and the waiter really looked after us. However the food wasn’t great at all and really overpriced for the quality we received. We were there celebrating a special occasion, with the food been so underwhelming really put a dampener on the night.
