I love Taste. But, we had the worst waiter. I’m sure he won’t last
Host or manager did a great job of providing a birthday card and gift card with our reservation for my friend. Good service was somewhat slow and our table didn’t get cleaned basically at all when finished. We go to tortilla all the time and use their thanx app so of course we will be back.
Wonderful place for brunch or happy hour! It's the BEST!
Food was great . Service was great as well.
I had the hanger steak which was an A+!! My man got the salmon and he was disappointed though. We were also in a hurry to make a show and service was slow despite having communicated this fact to them at the beginning of the night !
The Saturday night hostess was very rude to our table when we had a reservation. She seated our party of 3 in a small table clearly meant for 2 right next to the restrooms. The restaurant was not busy at the time and she was extremely rude. I will not be coming back
Am a regular at this restaurant which is usually reliable and on point. Brunch service was very slow and first round of drinks took 25 mins to arrive! Hope they turn it around...
My friends and I have been going to Taste on Melrose for a while, basically every time we are in LA, which is often. This particular time I had booked a table about 45 mins before hand and was in luck to get a reservation at that time on a Saturday.... I had mentioned it was for a birthday and I must say we have always had amazing service but this service was extra amazing! We seriously didn’t expect all the birthday love that my friend had received. Amazing birthday wishes, a card, a slice of delicious pie and a gift card to use when we come back!!! Seriously the Taste on Melrose staff is amazing!! Food is perfect and ambiance is perfection! Thank you again!!
Love love love taste
We loved this place. Everything was amazing!!
Our waiter was great. Food took over 2 hours to come out. When we addressed the manager he was no help.
This place had amazing service and the food was very tasty! My girls and I enjoyed it very much :)
Always delicious! Consistently great food and friendly staff.
Hostess said “Happy Birthday”. It was nice.
The service is always stellar, as the wait staff are extremely accommodating. Aside from the bottomless brunch it’s a great place to people watch. My only complaint is that since an entree is required to have the bottomless mimosas just be more clear upfront with the conditions every time they’re ordered.
Such great food and service. Would definitely go back for another weekend brunch.
This place is a quaint gem located in the prime area of Melrose. For drinks, order the pomegranate basil sangria (the carafe is perfect for two). The drinks to a little while to come to our table but were delicious. The food is also super good. I ordered the mac and cheese and the crispy parmesan chicken paillard.
Really good. Food was great. Service was friendly and prompt.
Great place for lunch. The Chicken Salad Sandwich and tortilla soup was delicious. Good service and location.
Food took forever. Service was slow and kept needing to flag down the waitress to get more water. Food was not great. Great breakfast there though.
We arrived and were sat immediately! It was for Easter Sunday Brunch and had a fixed menu. The food was tasty. I would of liked something a little more special for the dessert bar.
Delicious and festive!
Good for Easter Brunch. Honored reservations on time. Turned away ENTITLED groups with no reservations who tried force their way because were regular customers.
This place was cute and in a really nice spot. The backyard patio was very cute. The service was good and we were able to change to a nicer table. My friend and I ordered the brunch and it was very average and nothing much special. Overall cute place.
Great food and decor. A must for West Hollywood
We came in for a Birthday lunch and our server and the manager made it such a special event. We had the best table... our meals and desserts were amazing. The whole restaurant even sang Happy Birthday. Really appreciate how accomedating they were.
Bathrooom was stinky and very dirty other than that everything was good
Service was excellent. A little pricey for the portion size but food taste was very good.
Everything was wonderful except they were out of every wine we asked for. 3 to be exact.
Food wonderful as was service.
They got my drink wrong and manager compted it. Nice.
Food was extremely mediocre.
Taste is always reliable, relaxing, fun, lively enough without being too sceney or full of itself. There's a diverse menu that always offers numerous things I could order, and they're always satisfying, if not life changing. Which is a good thing--sometimes that's all you want. And the prices are reasonable as well. Plus, it offers a sidewalk-side patio, cozy interior front rooms, a sexy atrium for indoor-outdoor seating and a very cool back room with a bit of a wow factor with its high ceiling, graphic wallpaper, massive macrame and full bar. So there's something--and some place--for everyone here.
The place is amazing in terms of decor and ambiance. The appetizers were also out-of-this-world. But unfortunately the entrees didn’t compare and were average at best.
I’m sure the service may usually be much better than it was that day, but it appeared as though they didn’t have many servers and the servers they did have wore an attitude on their sleeve (our reasoning: they were overworked that day or were asked to stay beyond their shift). I sympathize, but it made the experience awkward.
Went for brunch and it was definitely the place to be. The line was out the door from people with reservations. I suggest you have one too when visiting. The food was good and the place is much bigger than it appears from street. It goes back deep so there is plenty of seating. Overall a good choice for brunch.
My meal was delicious!
Food was amazing, service not so much. Staff seemed to be grumpy or ignore us.
The food is just ok not bad but not great feels like some of it it frozen and just being heated at the kitchen
Delicious food. Loud traffic noise on the patio. Attentive service.
Kobe meatballs are amazing
Wonderful Bar scene... Monica was a wonderful bartender and took great care of our group. The artichoke was wonderful and the vanilla stout was refreshing.
I like the ambiance of this place, but unfortunately the food isn't worth the atmosphere. It takes forever to get your food, when you do its either cold or doesn't taste very good. If you are interested in going there for Drinks, I would recommend! Otherwise I would pass
