Delicious food, great staff, excellent waitress and incredible ambiance. I would most definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great meal and will be going back!
Loved the App Sampler. I was excited for it for days with high expectations so could have easily been disappointed, but was pleasantly surprised. The jerk chicken was falling off the bone with a delicious dry rub. The rice could have used some [more] gravy, but overall it was a delicious plate. My two cohorts agreed with the sentiment in regards to the jerk shrimp (which was in the jerk marinade sauce, as opposed to the dry rub) and the mixed veggie curry. This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that you should definitely experience.
Great food, service and ambiance. Great venue for family and friends to have a meal together. Love this place!
Delicious food and great service!!!
I had this grand idea of celebrating my birthday at the Seattle's Pink Door eatery but after a day of navigating through a huge crowd at Seattle's exceedingly popular Pike Place, I just wanted a chilled relaxing eatery with comfort and familiar food and I found it at this joint! The curry chicken was simply delicious and falling off the bone, the jerk chicken was just right - not too spicy, well cooked and perfectly seasoned. The rice & peas cooked just right and the plantain (the mere 2 pieces) were fried to perfection and the service came with a smile. I wish I could bottle up the chef and bring him/her back to Cally. At 60 bucks for 4 folks, this should be anyone's first stop if seeking a Caribbean meal in Seattle.
Good food. The jerk chicken could've been a little spicier though. But great flavor. Great patties rice and beans and rum cake and drinks. Service was also great! Going back for sure.
I was Very pleased with the service, The food and the alcohol beverage were disgusting. Im not sure if its the cook or the quality of the food and or products... i drove almost 3 hours to come get some authentic Jamaican food..... It was a waste of time . I will NEVER visit this place again.
Small restaurant with a specific focus. Food was great. Service was great.
The other diners reviewed this perfectly - very good food in a dive. The staff was very nice. The service was good but laid back Jamaican, which fit the ambience perfectly.
Look... we know this isnt the 5 star white table cloth establishment. This is amazing food! I mean amazing food. The patty is to die for everyday. The Oxtails are moist and flavorfull. They even nailed the goat! I dont everybody goat. Visit them soon and visit them often.
Great place to eat, we have eaten takeout here several times, but never dined in, it was great.
This is our 4-5th time at the restaurant every time we go is a better experience; the staff are so kind and understanding, favorite Caribbean food served here.
The service was great. The drinks were strong, which is always a plus in my book
Great experience!! Service was lacking after dinner, but overall food made up for it!! Will visit again real soon!
We liked this place a lot, very friendly servers, great ambiance, down to earth dining with delicious food. The chicken wings appetizer was to die for, next time it'll be a double order. Great antidote to the over-precious Seattle restaurant scene in a part of town that's still funky and interesting, with easy parking to boot. Highly recommended!
We never received two of the dishes we ordered. Parking is terrible, and the interior is very run down and shabby. The food we did receive was very tasty, but overall not impressed.
Good music amazing food I will have to come back in the evening to see what up with the Jell-O shots!
The service was a bit slow at first but the food came fairly quickly and made up 100% for any other hiccups. I would definitely go back.
Small cute hole in the wall . Very friendly staff, suggest you order drinks first while u wait for food it was about 40minute waits for food but very fresh and delicious definitely worth the wait!!! I'll definitely go back.
Delicious curry and jerk options. Plantains, yum. yum.
Friday night meal very casual.
Food was really good! Happy they had vegetarian options. It was a little cold inside and took a bit of time but it’s worth it.
I loved the atmosphere. Great for a lunch meeting. Positive vibes and good food
We went on a Sunday early....so it was quiet for dinner. The curry shrimp is the best I've had in years... Better than my grandma's and that is saying something
Good food and wonderful hospitality. Our server was lovely. They had suthentic ginger beer and jerk style meats.
The food was delicious. It made me miss home even more. I will go back whenever i get the chance and off course I’ll tell my friends about this place.
A short walk from the sports arena for Seattle University, this small restaurant is authentic Jamaican all the way, from the interior (don't be put off, it is not upscale) to the servers and finally the food. The ackee with saltfish is a Jamaican favorite, and my dish was quite good, even though I had never heard of the ingredients! Others sampled the curry dishes which they also enjoyed. A short list of beers and wine was available. It appeared everyone else in the place had been there many times. If you are in the mood for some Caribbean food and in the area, check it out.
Felt like we were back in Jamaica when we walked in. Cozy with an island vibe! The festival was amazing. We really enjoyed the curried goat and rice and peas! Loved to dining here during our stay in Seattle.
We went here without a reservation for half of the party and the other half with. When we arrived it was very slow. Two more parties came after us and it got busy. Only two waiters. On a Saturday I would think a little differently. We waited well over 40 minutes of an hour for food. Though it was great, I didn't want to wait that long.
Very delicious food. Tried the jerk pork. It's juicy, spicy, and flavorful. Definitely recommended!
We loved the food here and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. We went with our two young boys and are parents and there was something very everyone to eat. We will definitely be going back and recommending to others.
The food was amazingly authentic.
I am from Jamaica....the food took me back to Montego Bay.
I highly recommend.
Great food and excellent service.
Great environment! Management was awesome, server was on top of his game. Great food!!!
The food was delicious, we were a party of 4 and all ordered something different. All of the food was flavorful. The spices used were very distinct in each dish. The chicken wings were so good that I am ready to go back soon. Our server was attentive and prompt.
Food was delicious and employees very nice.
I had seen this restaurant as an invite on Facebook. Finally tried it out. The exterior is being upgraded and looks deceiving of the caliber of the restaurant. The interior was very spacious and definitely reminded me of the Caribbean. Great food and great service. I will definitely go again.
The hostess/owner was delightful. The food did taste like the Caribbean. We ordered different drinks, though they tasted the same. Maybe we will order beer next time. The restaurant feels like it used to be a Mexican restaurant. Except with Bob Marley posters up. The decor and lighting definitely needs some work. But if good food and an attentive staff is more important to you, you won't be disappointed.
Very short menu/limited selection
Authentic Jamaican food lived up to expectations!
