Started weakly and stayed that way. First, they were hesitant to honor the reservation. It's a busy place and they're obviously used to booking too many too soon. So people apparently go here expecting that a reservation for a certain time means that they'll only have to wait for 15-30 minutes instead of longer (like those without a reservation). That's ridiculous, but they get away with it. Once seated, the wait for a waiter, then the wait for the various courses, was very long. The wine prices are too high for the bottles they're serving. Most important, of course, is that the food is, at best, mediocre. As is the custom in such places, the food is all submerged in enough sauce to float a battleship. And sadly, that's the case regardless of what you tell the waiter. We specifically asked for light saucing on two pasta dishes (because two in our party know that they over-sauce). But those dishes were as filled to the brim as any of the others. This suggests that either the waiter didn't do his job or, more likely, that the kitchen preparation people don't pay any attention to such requests. Either way, a poor performance. This is a typical family Italian restaurant. The food served isn't special; it's what you can get at any Olive Garden. the atmosphere isn't special; it's what you can get, well, at any Olive Garden. The only difference is that they charge more.

Taste of Italy has an extensive menu and is your typical Italian restaurant. The food was good, the service was good and the setting was good for a small family dinner. My son who is two had ravioli and a couple of meatballs from the kids menu, my wife has a half salad and I️ had a small Italian Stromboli. It wasn’t an expensive meal, the table in the booth was kind of tight and when the people behind move, you feel them bumping you so that was a little annoying. It was my first time there and overall it is a place I’d return to.

We were excited to go this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately our visit was underwhelming. First they couldn't find our reservation, at least we got in. Our waiter was unattentive, we waited 15 minutes to get the glasses after the bottle water was served. Then when he served the olive oil and bread he spilled and never cleaned it up. When bringing the bill he layed the bill down in the middle of the oil puddle.... The meatballs were really terrible. W/o the meatballs I would give the food a half a star more. We might have caught a bad day. Anyways, we will not return.

The only issue we had were the brightness of the LED lights on the walls located in each booth. A dimmer light type would be more appropriate for these locations. The problem with these lights was the glare that it presents.

We love this restaurant for casual Italian food. The fact they have full bar service is a plus. This is our pre movie date night go to place Great food!

Not the place it used to be after the new ownership. Hardly any pizza selection left ( used to be outstanding) Server on the personal phone most of the time, reminders for drinks, forgot the apetizer. Pasta oversauced, no meat and ingredients. Sandwich on sloppy bread instead of a decent ciabata. Wont go back again.
