The restaurant week meal was outstanding. A great deal of food for $26. For appetizers, we got the beer cheese and the poutine. Despite being told they were half portion, we took half of each one home.

Hostess did not tell us our table was ready so was seated 20 minutes past our reservation. Service was extremely slow. Took another 20 minutes to get a drink. Food took another 35 minutes beyond that. We were late for our movie as a result.

Visited for the first time and the food was delicious. Our server was great and the mismosas were yummm! There are quite a few things on the menu I’d like to try so I’ll definitely be back.

Food tasted great, our server was fantastic but they were out of Bloody Mary mix during brunch and the waffles shrunk, so was pretty disappointed with their waffles for the price you spend.

Always love Taste of Belgium. The frites are particularly delicious and fish & chips was especially yummy. Love the arugula salad, too, that kitchen happily split for us.

Overall, I do like the Taste of Belgium, especially if I’m in the mood for chicken and waffles – Yum! The only issue right now is they seem to be severely understaffed. Lots of dirty dishes left on the tables, and one server handling, what appears to be the whole restaurant.

I feel like the restaurant was understaffed when we went, but we had to wait 10 minutes just to have our drink order taken. Our server was extremely apologetic, though. The only reason we went to Taste of Belgium was that my daughter absolutely loves the Nutella and banana crepe. When we got our food, which didn’t all come out at the same time, my daughter tried her crepe and it was made with chocolate sauce and not Nutella. Our server apologized and asked if my daughter wanted something else, or just wanted it remade. My daughter wanted it remade. Our server talked to the kitchen, and came back to the table apologizing again, stating that the restaurant was out of Nutella. My question is, why would they still serve the item ii they were out of the main ingredient, and why weren’t we told about the substitution? Also the crepe had absolutely nothing inside of it. Such a disappointing dining experience this time. We have been to Taste of Belgium a few times before this and have always had a good experience.

Went on a Friday night at 7pm and it was almost dead. That should have been my sign that things would not go well. It took a long time for anyone to come to our table. When we did get to order drinks I took both me and my husband 3 tries before they actually had something on their menu in stock. I also heard a waitress tell someone else they were out of other foods like biscuits. Our food came out about 5 minutes after appetizer, so we didn't get time to finish it and our drinks came out after our food. My husband got the beer flight and it wasn't even what was listed on their menu. The final straw was when both of the kids ordered the kids mac and cheese and it was spicy! You could tell by the pinkish color that it had a decent amount of cayenne in it. Neither would eat it. Who makes kids food spicy?? The rest of the food was fine. Nothing exciting. We will not be back.

Food was very good, service was just about average. One mistake on order, took about 5 minutes to get silverware for one guest after food was delivered & water carafe was emptied while dining and never refilled, only offered after we were done eating.

No mussels at ToB on a Friday evening. This is the 2nd time now that I've encountered this with one of the newer ToB locations. Unfortunately, they wait to tell you this until after drinks and food is ordered. Either the distribution network is broken or their location managers are not staying on top of things. Hard pass for anything but beer and apps going forward.

We had a reservation for my daughter’s birthday. They sat us and then ignored us. Completely. Not a single server even looked at us other than the manager telling everyone the middle bathroom was closed. “Don’t go in there.” Inspiring. After over ten minutes of being completely ignored, while the servers chatted in the corner and talked on their cell phones, we walked out. They were so clueless about what was going on that they said thank you on the way out.

Overall I was a little disappointed with this location as I’ve always enjoyed the others. I know it’s newer so I’m sure there’s still some things to workout but overall not great at all. The fries looked like they came out of a plastic bag and were microwaved- again not the same as I’ve had at the other locations, the salad I ordered hardly had any toppings and the chicken wasn’t cooked. Only giving two stars as I know the people who ordered the chicken and waffle were pleased. By the end of our time there for some reason the music had stopped playing and it was quiet. Our waitress was sweet but the atmosphere was strange. Again, hopefully it will reach the same quality as the other locations eventually.

It’s been difficult these days to find a restaurant where the service is good. I was pleasantly surprised at the service at a Taste of Belgium. It was outstanding and the food was incredible (especially the bacon)! I highly recommend a Taste of Belgium for both the food and service!

We came here for Mothers Day on a reservation. Walking in, the music was loud and it was pop music, not European. We sat at a high top table that had the bartender as our waitress. She did her best but the process was slow. The food was average at taste. No management ever visited the table. We spent over $100 with a tip and it doesn’t feel worth it. Glad we went once but it wasn’t at all what I expected, disappointed!

I took my mother to this location on Mother’s Day (via reservation). Our service was very slow throughout our experience. We were sitting for at our table for at least 20 mins before being welcomed by our waitress. This was followed by large gaps throughout the remainder of our time. The wrong food/plate was brought out initially for my mother, and then my meal came out later than hers, and it was only partial (I was giving fries with no burger). The burger came about 5-10 minutes later. Overall, we enjoy Taste of Belgium at their other locations in Cincinnati and believe this was an isolated occurrence with our waitress plus the holiday crowd.

They were super busy and short staffed, so it took awhile to get seated even with a reservation, but once we were seated our server was there to take our order and our food and drinks came out quickly. The service staff did a really really great job especially considering how busy and short staffed they were! They were friendly and got us everything we needed quickly and they all deserve kudos! The food was good and hot, the fries were delicious! Chicken and waffles were really good too!
