Will start out by saying that I think there was some building maintenance being done, and either employee training, or some type of group holding a smaller meeting (after we showed up) that may have contributed to our experience. Overall food was decent and felt priced ok (had the breakfast plate, waffle was AMAZING, eggs and goetta were just "ok"). Service was pretty slow, at least at first. Again, could have been whatever was going on contributing. Got better towards end! The downside however was the seating, TERRIBLE! When the host first took us to our table, we saw the uncomfortable, tall, narrow metal chairs without backs, or at least foot rests to balance, and asked to be seated at a regular table or booth (I have back problems and am not over 6' tall, so these seats aren't meant for me lol). He said there weren't other types of seating available and provided no alternatives, just waited for us to sit or leave basically. There were booths open, and there were other lower tables open that people were seated at soon after us, so I'm not sure what was up. I shifted around as much as I could to try to get comfortable, but just spent most of the time we were there standing because the seats were so uncomfortable to me. We rolled with it and didn't complain (until now I guess haha). We had reservations btw through open table, so we weren't just walk ins. Had seating been more comfortable, this would have been a MUCH nicer experience and we probably would have ordered more drinks. I couldn't wait to leave, unfortunately.
Our server was so sweet! We had a beautiful day outside and the food was top notch. Such a great impression for my friend from out of town
The staff was wonderful! We wanted to sit outside and the gentleman who helped us was accommodating and kind. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday amazing!
They were out of several menu items so there wasn’t much to choose from
Took us straight to an open table, helpful waitor and great food.
Awesome .. great food, excellent service
Our service was great. Friendly staff and and prompt attention. Love the set up of the dining room and a great place to visit on business.
My husband and I almost always get the famous "chicken and waffles," which is consistently delicious. One day we'll try other dishes, because everything looks amazing!
We were seated kind of close to other groups, but very quickly and it really didn't end up being an issue. Overally, I'm a huge fan of ToB, and it did not disappoint!
Great eating outdoors. Nice spot. Good service. Good Aperol Spritz. The French fries were not up to Belgium standards. Not crisp. Not thin.
Great service, great food
Really enjoyed our first visit to Taste of Belgium! Made our reservation via Open Table, and thank goodness we did, because there was a 30 minute wait when we arrived, but we were seated right away :) I ordered the Egg McWaffle and my husband ordered the Chicken & Waffle and both were Delicious! Their waffles are smaller and more dense, than the fluffy Belgium waffles we’ve had in the past — but we really enjoyed them! And, the service from our server Bryson L was Excellent! Very attentive and friendly! Can’t wait to go back to the Taste of Belgium! :)
Always yummy for brunch. Sat right away with our reservation. Very accommodating
Our server was great and the food was good as always. Our table was in a spot that didn’t get any airflow and it was really hot. Felt kind of isolated. Bad luck I guess, I love this restaurant and will be back regardless. If I got that spot again I’d ask to move.
Wasn’t overly impressed with this place. No kids menu, the waffles are very small (not a typical size for a Belgium waffle in my opinion) and we were seated in a small room off the main entrance where it was super hot. Overall okay, but wouldn’t be making plans to return again probably.
The environment was great. Very clean, organized and pleasurable. The service was outstanding. Genuine waiter took care of us, educated us if we had questions and was checking in throughout our time there. The food was outstanding. It's a unique menu with wonderful choices. The overall experience is one that I've shared with other friends and will continue to return to Taste of Belgium for future meals - both business meetings and personal time with family and friends.
My absolute favorite breakfast spot ever!
The food was delicious as usual. Our server, Lara M. was a nice as could be. TOB is one of our go to places so we will definitely be back.
It took ten minutes to even have our server approach the table and then the only other times we saw her was when she brought our drinks and checks. No one checked on us during our meal, which wasn’t good. Fries are expensive and taste like dish soap. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The food is delicious and the waffles are so good that I routinely by a back to take home and enjoy. Worth making a regular stop.
The food was delicious and the waitress answered all of our questions about where to find things in Cincinnati.
Food is delicious. Been to 2 locations and both great
Overall food was great . We ordered pretzel with cheese awesome. Great wine and beer selection . Also ordered mussels with fries, plus bolegnese. The pasta was cooked well but very little taste . I am Italian and have had better. Service was great . Overall I would go back .
This was a Mother’s Day outing with my two kids. This was my first time there. Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio and people watching. Would go back again.
It was great...as usual.
Great service and food. Great place to go before a day Reds game. We were there at 11 out by 12. Great server.
Great waitress! Super kind and considerate:) Definitely recommend!
Food is always vert good; excellent draft beer selections. Really good happy hour prices. But food prices are higher than warranted.
My chicken was tough and the rest of the food was mediocre. Save your money, buy a bag of waffles to go and eat elsewhere.
We requested to sit outside with it being Easter Sunday and there was a Reds game so it was perfect. The service was outstanding and the food was good. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and I had the harvest salad with steak. The only thing Is that I would not get the steak again. It was over cooked and hard to cut in the salad bowl even though it was precliced. Trying to cut the steak forced all the salad out over the edges of the bowl. I would pay more for a better cut of meat. Will definitely be back though. Our server was fantastic !!!
Great selection and wonderful service. Definitely recommend, especially on a beautiful day!
The menu includes a variety of options for brunch and everything tasted very fresh. Service was great even though they were busy.
The chicken and strawberry waffles was delicious! The peach mimosas, I believe it was (Bellini) was so good. Omg! It was my first time at the restaurant and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I can not wait to dine there again. I definitely recommend.
Food was just ok. Waffles were over cooked.
We’re from LA and our family living nearby to the restaurant suggesting trying it and we were pleasantly surprised. Ate here before getting on a plane to go home. Server was great, Belgium waffle was great. Husband was satisfied.
We had a great experience at Taste of Belgium! We loved the outside heated tent that was Covid friendly. Our waiter Bryson (I believe was his name) was also very kind and personable!
Waffles waffles waffles. Alcohol and waffles. Need I say more? Great food, great ambiance. Fun way to brunch. We will be back.
The server was very condescending he seemed to not be familiar with the menu.
We booked an outdoor table for lunch for 3 and our 3 therapy dogs (first 60 degree day in February 2021 - whoo hoo!) and staff was very accommodating to give us the perfect table - nice bright sun and plenty of space for the dogs (and they brought out a bowl of water for the pups). The food was wonderful as were the beer flights! The Frites and Dips are a must have starter. I had the Beltucky Hot Brown which was huge and delicious (I couldn't finish though for fear of then needing an afternoon nap). Service was attentive but not hovering. Most enjoyable and we'll be back next time we're in town (came in from out of state).
