The food was outstanding! Wonderfully prepared. The service was exceptional. Our server gave us honest opinions on drink pairings and food. She had a fun personality. We enjoyed our dinner very much. While a few people in our party have eaten there before, my husband, myself and our guest had not. We will definitely be back!

First time eating here. Food was pretty good and hot. It was my husband's birthday so the setting was intimate and just right bc it was just the two of us. It was a little cold inside restaurant, but not extremely cold. Bread pudding dessert was delicious. We enjoy it overall.

Simply the best!

Upon entering the restaurant, we thought it was rather cold, so we elected to eat outside which was slightly warmer. Waitress was very personable, friendly, knowlegdeable and helpful. We enjoyed the three wine flights. My wife loved her lamb chops with mashed potatoes, but there were only 2 small pieces of squash. I had the short rib pasta, which was probably average. We had the bread pudding for dessert and it is without a doubt the best we have ever had.

Visiting Montgomery due to my mother's passing, we came across TASTE through Open Table. What a wonderful experience for my wife and me during a very difficult time. Thank you for your attentive care, your efforts to ensure a wonderful meal, and the delicious food. We will visit you again when we are in the area.

Our food was excellent. I hand the entre Salmon and my husband had the small plate Filet—both were incredible! I also had a flight of Chardonnay, and left with a bottle of Black Stallion! Loved the atmosphere and the live music too!

We had a wonderful night out at Taste celebrating my husband's birthday. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Great drinks and wine selection too. It's a tad pricey, but worth every penny for a special night out.

It was our first visit to Taste, and it went above our expectations. The food was amazing and the flights of wine were on par/better than other wine bars we have visited. Also, tables were appropriately distanced during this time of the pandemic. We felt safe, welcomed, and catered to. We will definitely return!

The food was amazing! The lobster risotto was so creamy and nothing like you would find at any other restaurant. I love the large selection and variety of wines and beer. The option to try different wines through the wine flight menu is fantastic! While there was live entertainment, we were still able to carry on a conversation at our table. The service was excellent. She was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely return!

Overall our experience at Taste was pretty good. We enjoyed out food, wine, and the overall atmosphere.

Only complaint is the menu always seems a bit small with little to no vegiterian options (outside of cheese plates).

We will be back because the food they have is always good, the wine is delicious, and it's kids free.

We had a great experience at Taste. The food was great and the server was very familiar with all of the items on the menu. We dined outside which was so nice.

It is small plates, but everything was amazing. A great way to celebrate my son's birthday!!!

Good date night place. Taste is our favorite in Montgomery. Love to go there for good food in small portions and its setting that allows us to talk to each other.

We arrived early and had already been set up. There’s was a special menu for Valentines Day a 4 course meal. We ordered the seafood dip, ceasar and strawberry vingerette salad, blackened and regular filet w/ mashed potatoes and broccolini, and for dessert the pecan pie. All the food was amazing. Very rich and flavorful. We paired it with a Riesling not on the menu that was also amazing. Btw the sale their wines retail. Just a warning if you are a heavy eater this may not be the spot for you.

The four course meal was outstanding. Their cocktail list was unusual and creative. My medium rare filet was so tender. I was very impressed with our New Year’s dinner.

TASTE is a worthwhile visit for an evening of adult time, with many diverse wine choices and very delectable food offerings. Price point for Montgomery is a challenge, but then again, TASTE is worth the visit.

Came to Taste to celebrate my boyfriend’s graduation from Officer Training School and commission in the United States Air Force! Great dinner with knowledgeable service and wonderful recommendations on their wine flights!

LOVED this restaurant for a casual adult family member gathering. We did tapas and shared. The food was really good. Standouts were the charcuterie board, pear salad, salmon, meatballs. The wine flight options offered are a great addition. Few restaurants in the south do this and TASTE does it well. This was our first visit and we will most certainly return.

I wanted to LOVE this place. But it fell short for us this evening. Gave the food a 3 star because everything that came out for the small plates was overly salty. And i love salt. I salt my food before i taste it on most days, but we didn’t have salt shakers on the table to do so. Which thank goodness. But our pastas were borderline hard to eat. (And yes i understand they are small plates. But i expected a little more than a fist full of pasta. But maybe that’s $13 worth of pasta.) And the carb queen that i am asked for mashed potatoes as a side and got some kind of wedge potatoes? My husband got the bison burger rare... which came out well done. I discourage sending back food so he just sucked it up. Things i can recommend on the menu other than their bomb drinks are the scallops (2) over the risotto and the charcuterie. Everything else seemed to fall short and i hate that because the atmosphere was great, the live music - a nice fella named Matt out of Birmingham - was unbeatable and the service was great other than it taking 15 minutes to get a server (other than a sommelier) to come to our table. Would only go back for the drinks and would probably sit at the bar.
