Out of town Italian sausage peppers was great; beet salad was on point. Calamari was good but a bit dark for my taste. Split a swordfish and lamb chops both were excellent but the chops were small and a short bone but very tasty. We would go back

Amazing food and great service. A little hidden gem. Filet mug on was the best I w ever had!

New Year’s Eve

Such a nice evening at Taste! The Chef is excellent, great menu & specials, the ambiance was so nice as was the service. Tables were socially distanced and we were so glad to have a night out.

Taste is delightful! It is a little gem in Cleveland Heights. Great food and nice atmosphere. Wait staff and hostess very sweet. Will definitely go back again soon and bring friends!

We asked to be in a "quiet" place and that request was fulfilled (thank you, Taste!). Food continues to be delicious. Service is exceptional. One of the few times you feel like spending the $$ is actually worth it.

food was great fried calamari was great so lamb chops were good and the tenderloin with mushrooms were good; lemon drop was ok but the pear tree martini was divine. i really enjoyed my self ill be back for sure

The soup I had was offered as a special. OMG it was amazing! Coconut, curry, chicken with rice soup! Two of us had the lamb chops and they were extremely tender and juicy. My husband had the ribeye and it was also juicy and delicious. Lamb chops and steak were cooked exactly as we requested. Two had beet salads and they said they were delicious. We enjoyed the trio of homemade ice cream for dessert. This was our first time at Taste and we will definitely be back. The ambiance is cozy and classy. I know it sounds insignificant, but they use the proper wine glasses and I find that to be a hallmark of a good restaurant. Our waiter, Hector, was so pleasant and happy that he made the experience all the better. I would recommend Taste and I will take out of town guests to Taste, no hesitation.

Lamb chops were the best that I have had anywhere. My wife had the seafood special (scallops) and were described as lovely. We will be back!!

This was the first time my wife and I went there and we were not disappointed in the least. We had the mussels as an appetizer and then I had the grilled lamb chops and she had the filter mignon. All were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We will be returning for sure.

My husband and I went on a Saturday for my birthday dinner. When we arrived it was busy. I noticed all the servers and waitress had on masks but not the owner. The bar area was full, with no precaution in place for social distancing. We opted for outdoor seating which was also not equipped for 6ft of social distancing but was better than sitting in the restaurant.

We proceeded to sit at the opened table but then was instructed to sit in the corner. The corner was not an ideal location since there was limited mobility and the cover did not shield us from the rain. We asked the waitress to move and she obliged. Overall the food was delicious if they are interested in keeping their patrons safe while dining proper distancing and additional measurement should be in place to adhere to the Cleveland regulations to combat the spread of COVID-19.

there is no social distancing at this restaurant. People clog at the entrance, the bar has no partitions, tables are too close together.

The food and drinks were excellent! My husband had the ribeye special and I had the sea bass special. Both were outstanding!

Creative dishes that never disappoint! We are regulars.

We were very uncomfortable that the owner was not wearing a mask or social distancing —e.g., hugging customers. Moreover, customers were walking around without masks. At this point, we will not return until we have reassurances that Raj will enforce restrictions. We have always loved Taste, but not enough to risk contagion.

The food at Taste is as good as any restaurant in New York or Chicago. I highly recommend.

I was celebrating my 69th birthday with a dear friend. The service was great, as usual. Carla was more than accommodating. We were warmly great by the owner, Raj, who offered to buy a celebratory drink but, we had to leave.

Meal was outstanding! We had the halibut special and it was perfectly prepared! Service was outstanding as well!!

We waited for almost 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order. They never came, so we got up and left the restaurant.

The owner did not we are his mask at any point. We asked him about it and he said he isn’t working he’s just walking around the restaurant and it’s not necessary for him to wear a mask. The tables were also in no way socially distance. Nothing about the restaurant made us feel safe or comfortable eating there

Taste was pretty good got the most part! I had eggplant and my husband had seafood paella and it was just ok. Scallops were fresh but clams and other seafood not fresh tasting. My friends had scallop special and liked it very much. Sat at chef table but chef didn’t really interact very much.

We have never been displeased in any way at Taste. Really good.

Taste consistently produces delicious, fresh, well-prepared food, competent service and a great atmosphere.

We have been to Taste a few times and have generally enjoyed the experience.
Being Opentable members , we had earned our next $10 Dining perk, we applied our certificate to our reservation as required from Opentable. Taste would not apply the $10 to our bill, they stated that they do not participate with that offer, it isn’t a policy that they follow and pretty much argued the point as if it was our fault. Miserable night !

Food was late coming out and couple next to us were loud and kept using the f word

Always love the food, service a little chaotic but in fairness, it was Valentines Day. Once the hostess realized we needed to make the theater, several servers assisted to make sure we were served and out in time.

I booked this restaurant so I could use my opentable reward card but when the waiter would not accept the reward card. So now I have redeemed my points and cannot use the card for $25. Would never go back.

We enjoyed the Beet and Caesar salads. The Crab stuffed Salmon and the Chicken Florentine were excellent as were the Chocolate cake and Lemon cheesecake. Our server was attentive and we had an enjoyable pre show dining experience.

Delicious food, great service, and conveniently located close to Dobama Theatre where we went to a show.
