Just moved to New England from New Jersey. Really wasn’t bowled over by most of the Indian restaurants. Tashan is a Restaurant that we are going to go back to a lot. The food was wonderful.

Tashan offers a unique Indian culinary experience. Not only does it offer crowd favorites such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Biriyani, but also offers several Indian delicacies that are not known outside India. In addition, their cocktail menu is quite delightful wherein you'd find an Indian take on popular cocktails like the Martini, Tom Collins, etc. And, the cherry on top is their presentation which is simply outstanding!

This is a fabulous restaurant. We have been a few times and I can’t say too many good things about it. The food is fantastic-Extremely unique and very very tasty. The wait staff is very conscientious and really cares about their customers. I love how the managers or owners are always checking up on the tables and making sure everything is OK. You just really feel taken care of here. One of the few restaurants in the area where the love of food and caring about the customers really shines through. Love this place and highly recommend it to anyone!!! Bravo Tashan!!

Enjoyed another fabulous meal with friends at Tashan. I’ve raved about the food and the space so this time I’ll praise the staff. As soon as we were seated, Jay brought over our drinks while we waited for the rest of our party. Our server, Ravi, was attentive, friendly and anticipated our every wish. Vishal and his wife have created a modern vibe with delicious food. Go and enjoy this unique taste of Taste of India!

Our experience was excellent. It was our first time trying Tashan and we can’t wait to go back! Wait staff were personable and attentive, FOH came around to check in with us, and food came out very quickly!

I had heard of this restaurant for quite some time and had been wanting to go. Since it's an hour away it took awhile to get some others together and make the reservation happen. Sure wish I'd gone sooner!! The sauces are amazing, including the roasted chicken in sauce, the cauliflower with its own pancakes and 2 sauces, the fish in a creamy brown gravy, and the shrimp in what reminded me of Korma sauces. The last was my favorite. We all shared a few orders of garlic naan, which was hot, buttery, and chewy. We were too full for dessert, but I'm sure they're equally tantalizing. The owner came to the table several times, first to welcome us, then to talk about the restaurant's history, and last to make sure we were happy. WE WERE!

Food was great, so rich and each gravy had its own unique taste. The goat I will say was on the chewier side and not as tender. Other than that everything was perfect.

Good food and good service. Two feedbacks: 1. The music selection could be better. 2. The table we were seated at had some issues. Visiting Tashan after 1 year. Food has definitely improved a lot since I visited last time. I will recommend Tashan.

I went here for father's day dinner. Turned out it was a buffet and not a la carte. Looked liked the same stuff from lunch was recycled for dinner. The food was the usual North Indian oily and over rich with cream sauce. At $43 per person, it was a serious rip-off. Maybe the a la carte dining is better, but I am not returning.

This is a solid place for upscale indian food. We have went several times and the service and quality of the food has been extremely high. We drive out from the city because all the indian stores around Boston are mostly variants of each other—-Tashan ranks far above them all. They do different twists and modern takes on traditional dishes and it’s such a treat. Harshita ma’am the owner and Jay the manager are such lovely people and check in on us every time. Highly recommend, definitely go here!

Frankly I was disappointed. The food was good. We had 1 app recommended by server that was very good. But portions were small. Here's the thing about Indian food that I don't get. You don't leave - even without liquor - without a bill for $80 for the same amount of food you'd get in any other restaurant for less. Our main courses had a few pieces of food swimming in sauce. The decor was lovely. But the noise level was deafening. It also took about 30 mins after we finished out apps - which we enjoyed in a leisurely way - for our main dishes to arrive. That was around 7P on a weeknight. Can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. Maybe we hit it on a bad night, but given the noise and the portion sizes, I likely won't return.

Absolutely incredible spot! Highly recommended. Amazing atmosphere, wonderful customer service and the food is out of this world! Each dish comes out like it is being featured in a magazine. Great presentation! Will be going back soon to try more items from the menu.

Ordered mango lassi, shrimp starter along with paneer curry and Maharastrian vegetable curry for main course. Paratha Mango lassi was tangy. Paneer curry was too sweet. Vegetables were not fully cooked in other curry.
