   The food is truly outstanding. Two of us had the halibut, one the chicken parm and another the carbonara. All excellent. Tables are close together and the noise level is a bit high. Don’t let that deter you from coming to this gem.

   Outstanding experience. Professional waitstaff, seasoned concierge, excellent food -app through dessert. Nicely rounded wine list. Def recommend.

   The noise was unbearable. We could not enjoy the food, hear the waiter, or talk with our friends. I had a splitting headache throughout the meal and for hours later.

   We have eaten at Tartufo many times. This past week we brought 2 guests. The appetizers came right away but the main courses were not coming for a long time. The waiter acknowledged the lateness and promised the food would be coming soon. When it still hadn't come, my husband left the table to privately complain about the length of time. The hostess directed him to the owner/executive chef. My husband said we had been waiting for 45 minutes for our main courses. This was an exaggeration, as it turned out. But instead of apologizing as anyone would do, this man came to or table to shout at us in front of our guests! He showed us kitchen receipts indicating the actual time from the placement of the order. When our main courses finally came, he returned to our table to AGAIN tell us how he received the order for the appetizer at 7:15, and then the order for the mains at this exact time... My husband had left our table specifically to avoid complaining in front of our guests. Having this inappropriate outburst from the owner in front of our guests and the rest of the restaurant was humiliating and shocking. I asked him to please leave us in peace to eat our food and he didn't want to leave! He said he needed us to understand how he operates the kitchen. Honestly, he seemed like someone who was not taking needed medication. He may be a wonderful chef - the food was very good - but he should never be allowed to speak with customers. My husband was not abusive to anyone when he complained about the long wait. I don't know how I could trust bringing any guests to this restaurant again.

   After having a wonderful lunch a couple of weeks ago, I thought Tartufo would be great for a dinner with friends. It was even better than I thought it would be, with excellent service and food. Everyone commented on the overall quality and I desire to go back soon to discover more of the menu items. The service was just right..taking care of us when we needed it, but not interrupting our conversation. I thought the balance was perfect. Go and experience some fabulous Italian food in a comfortable setting.

    This Is always a reliable place to go...this week I was there twice! Each time it was delicious, hot and beautifully served.
