I did not know what to expect from this spot, but was so glad to have booked a table here on a friend's recommendation. Just a get together with my daughter and a niece and I was happy that the ambiance was super cozy and quaint.. The food was actually very simple, open face type sandwiches, which to be honest were a bit pricey ($16 for one opened face slice?), however, very tasty. Truly an overall very nice dining experience.
Food was delicious
Drinks were fun and original
Atmosphere is chic
Service was kind and attentive
During the weekday its pretty quiet so great if you are meeting someone to catch up, not sure about the weekend as I have never been.
Great food, fast service!
A special date with my daughter
Everything was delicious and the place is well decorated, the bathroom floor shakes, I dont know why! Weird!
Waitresses were wonderful!
Met a friend here for Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. This was my first time here but I will for sure be back. On Sunday's they have 2 for 1 mimosas and bellinis (the only downside was whatever one you get that's the free one, meaning you cannot get one mimosa and then one bellini). I highly recommend the ricotta and prosciutto tartine with grapes, honey and walnuts. Also had the eggs benedict with bacon, which was served on the most delicious biscuit!
We were in NYC for the day and wanted to try something new for dinner. After seeing Tartinery on Open Table we opted for it. What a great decision! Great atmosphere and vibe, lovely service, fabulous food! Loved it!
Love this place for brunch with a group of people. Food is yummy-they don’t rush you. Love it here
Very enjoyable meal Christmas Night, certainly a friendly and accommodating staff
This is a GREAT restaurant, with so many hard-to-find attributes (e.g. the fact that I can hear my friend talking because the noise isn't super crazy as it is in so many other places in the city). The food is great and the service is always excellent. Highly recommended!
Amazing place, love to come here! Menu changes over seasons but always great quality and quantity.
Service is excellent as well, definitely a place that I recommend!
I had been there one time before for my birthday but could not sit downstairs as they said they did not open the downstairs until after a certain hour. So we only had cocktails and decided to return another time. I made a reservation for my friend’s birthday making sure to make a later one so we could sit downstairs. It’s a great setting and the picture wall would be sure to impress. However when we arrived we were again told we could not sit downstairs because it was a slow night. I understand that they could not seat us due to not having the staff and that’s totally fine. There was just the bartender doubling as waiter and also doing to go orders. I just want to mention it for other’s information.
Which brings me to the food. While it is a good quality and there are some good options two of us were unmoved by the choices and settled for dishes we weren’t crazy about. I am not too picky.I can be one of those “I’m sure I’ll find something on the menu” types. But I ordered the quinoa bowl and there wasn’t too much flavor. It’s a great place for ambience and cocktails. I’m sure I will return but probably for small snack and cocktails only. It’s NY. There’s great food on every street so this will help determine if we stop by when in that neighborhood next time.
One last thing...the gentleman at the bar who was also our waiter was very gracious, gave good service and was super nice about the birthday.
This lovely spot was great because a party can choose rich, caloric food or equally delicious healthy food. Will return for sure. Noise level good for NYC. Not quiet - but reasonable.
Fondant ay chocolate is a killer!
Delicious as usual!
Overall we enjoyed our meal. We ordered proscecco but didn’t have it so gave us a substitute. It wasn’t chilled yet and when they chilled it the champagne wasn’t cold enough. The wait staff was a little aloof
Had my 21st birthday brunch here with a group of close friends & it was perfect! We went at a chill hour so we were able to really enjoy the place. Compliments kept being shared over how great the place, the food & even the music was! Definitely one of the best birthdays I've ever had!
Really great place, real frenchies working here, delicious food with that little twist that makes each plate unique, really nice waiters, I recommend for lunch or simple dinner with friends, really a great find!
The bartender and a server are extremely nice. Good collection of wine choices. The food was tasty. Definitely coming back
My friends and I had a great lunch at Tartinery. The atmosphere and interiors were lovely, staff was friendly and inviting, and food was tasty too, with many options that sounded good, including lunch specials. A great spot in Soho/Nolita that isn't too big or loud.
Met friends for a light brunch and wanted a place where we could relax and talk. I had a delicious egg tartine, my portion size was just what I wanted. Tres bien :)
Horrible service. Totally understaffed.
This place is a total find for the area: nice without being fancy or overly hip, delicious while staying simple. Great, healthy sandwiches, soups and salads at a very reasonable price for SoHo. Should be in your list for lunch.
We travel to NYC from Boston area often and are always blindly looking for a good restaurant. Took a chance on a GILT coupon and were happy we did. Delicious tartines with lots of fresh ingredients like ricotta and prosciutto, interesting dinner menu (though small), yummy dessert choices. Excellent service and attention. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to family who live there and friends who also like to visit. Looking forward to going back.
We planned a surprise birthday dinner for my boyfriend and knew we'd need a place that could not only accommodate a large group, but was also delicious and easy to order from. The food is, as always, incredible and I love being able to share this place with friends. We had a great time.
Great spot to catch up on a girls night! Fun food; creative dinner option. Barratta was excellent, as was the Smoked Salmon Tartine!
Excellent, fresh, healthy options in a great neighborhood convenient to transport, entertainment, shopping, etc.
I've been here twice and last night was for my boyfriends birthday celebration, before the surprise party I had planned for him at a bar around the corner. The waiters were very accommodating when I said we were in a bit of a rush to get to our "next reservation" as we were only having apps at Tartinery.
We got the burrata with the prosciutto on the side (I don't eat pork), which was divine, and the special chicken salad tartine (good protein), and the asparagus and avocado tartine (AMAZING!!!). The ambiance is cool and a little edgy, but super clean and sleek. It's a cool concept and the food is very yummy.
One of my favorite restaurants, this has been the third time I've been to this restaurant. The brunch was delicious, and the charcuterie board was Instagram worthy. The presentation of the food was great, and of course the food tasted delicious.
I really like the decor, it's very unique and inviting.
I'll be back for another special occasion, thanks!
Tartinery is FANTASTIC. I was not familiar with it until recently, but they are one of my new favorite places in Soho. Excellent location, great drink menu, yummy food, and in an unexpected twist (for NYC, that is), outstanding service. This place is low-key, and nice and quiet, and the service is so good....I challenge anyone to find better in the city. I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you Tartinery! We will be back.
The food is very good (don't miss the burrata and the avocado toast!) and the service is friendly. There is only 1 highchair but we were able to accommodate our twins with one of our own travel seats.
This is my favorite place in soho
Service is a bit slow. Ambience non-existant. We were there on a Friday night and the place was empty.
Food and service excellent but small bar area where seated, was very loud. Requested downstairs but we're told its only for large parties
The lady serving us was very nice and attentive. The kale salad and the quinoa salad were delicious! I also love their cappuccino. The noise level was expected in a bistro so that was fine. Interestingly the table to our right was speaking French and the one to our left was speaking Japanese and my friend and I were conversing in Chinese. Quite a global place! Anyway, I would highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing get together.
Great service and nice environment, loved the place. I liked the round table for friends gathering
We went during lunch and got the lunch combo. I got the smashed avocado toast and delicious trio juice. Nothing particularly impressive. However, I do recommend the creamy burrata tartine - my mom and I both agreed it was really good! Only thing was I wished the service was a little more attentive to needs, especially since there were only 4 other tables and it wasn't busy. Otherwise, it was perfectly peaceful and quiet place to chat and eat. Also, the interior design is beautiful; sunlight poured in through the glass walls.
