We are known for our unique dining experience serving various kinds of Tartare: Classic French, Argentinian, Parisa, Tuna, Salmon, Scallops & Avocado. In addition, we have various cuts of beef and a nice selection of Wellingtons: Beef, Salmon, Ratatouille & Cordon Bleu. Both our Chefs are from diverse culinary backgrounds (French) bringing to each plate an array of flavors with a carefully balance to delight your palate. Unique to dining experience is our occasional live music played by our Chef. A variety of musical styles performed live for dinners to accompany their evening. Our goal is for you to enjoy a timeless moment, encouraging everyone to leave their everyday life as you enter our doors. Table reservations are for the entire evening. Merci!

We ate at Tartare for the first time celebrating our anniversary. We had a delightful experience from the time we walked in the door. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our experience was impeccable. He also had a good sense of humor. Our first trip to Tartare will not be our last

I had a wonderful meal at Tartare recently. I started with onion soup which was just delicious. The depth of flavor was remarkable. Then I had the grilled Romain salad. It was also amazing, but I wanted a bit less dressing and a bit fewer toppings. I eat this salad every time I visit because I love it so, but it is just a bit too rich for me. Then I had the chicken based Wellington. It was perfect with flakey pastry and succulent filling. I ended with crème brûlée! A memorable meal!

A wonderful restaurant. We went for the first time last year and knew we were coming back as soon the trip was planned!

The food was wonderful! Something different in the Pinehurst area. It was perfection. And the violin serenade was lovely. A very special treat. It was just the right amount of time (4 musical pieces). The chef played beautifully. Service was perfect, friendly and efficient. A very nice night out!

Hands down the worst “fine dining” experience I ever had. The server treated me with so much disrespect and the food I ate was extremely tough to eat. I thought I was eating a spare tire but was told it was beef Wellington. I am hesitant to eat here again because of how poorly I was treated and how bad the dining experience was

The food was PHENOMENAL! Absolutely one of the best restaurants in town. We were blown away by the quality of every dish.

One of the finest dining experiences we have had in Pinehurst. A bit on the expensive side for the Pinehurst area, but for a special occasion or when you want a perfect meal the is the go to place. Server was excellent as well. Will definitely return....
