We are known for our unique dining experience serving various kinds of Tartare: Classic French, Argentinian, Parisa, Tuna, Salmon, Scallops & Avocado. We have in addition a nice selection of Wellingtons: Beef, Salmon, Ratatouille & Cordon Blue. Both our Chefs are from diverse culinary backgrounds (French/Thai) bringing to each plate an array of flavors with a carefully balance to delight your palate. We serve steaks and various pasta dishes including our Ratatouille Pasta, friendly to our vegetarian and vegan dinners. We serve a variety of wines and costumers are welcome to bring their own wine to accompany their evening for $28 corkage fee. Unique to dining experience is our occasional live music played by our Chef. A variety of musical styles performed live for dinners to accompany their evening. Our goal is for you to enjoy a timeless moment, encouraging everyone to leave their everyday life as you enter our doors. Table reservations are for the entire evening. Merci!

We went out to celebrate our last date before our baby arrives. The service was good, the food was good too. In all honesty, there was nothing that was outstanding, eye-opening, or made me feel like I had to come back right away. My husband got the Steak Oscar, and I the beef wellington. My husband enjoyed his meal, but the steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out medium, yet you still could cut it with a fork, and in his words, it's not a big deal. 5 oz for a 6'2 215 man only lasted about an hour before he was hungry again. I've never had beef wellington before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was delicious.

Everything was wonderful. I tool my daughter. I was disappointed that we didn’t get to hear the violin play. We couldn’t stay for another hour to hear. Next time I will know he doesn’t play till after 7:30. Lovely evening.

Food was excellent! Music to my mouth! Best in Moore county!! Might have cost more than your run of the mill place but OH so worth the dining experience is back! After moving here from the outer banks with so many top notch restaurants we were disappointed with most places here but this place gets A+++ across the board. I would suggest more comfortable seating and decor.

I think he would do better in the quirky town next door, Southern Pines, which I so adored. But this sweet and talented French chef, who plays beautiful classical violin between spurts of cooking, far exceeds the background music, which really should more match his style or maybe he should just move to Asheville where his sons are, because all this to say I’m not sure the strip mall space that he rents appreciates his talent, but I could be wrong, but if not- he deserves a publicist🥰

Great food. Everything my wife and I had was outstanding. My wife had the salmon, I had the duck and we cleaned our plates. As a bonus the chef comes out from the kitchen and plays the violin.

The food here is memorable! I did not know a salad could be a food experience until I had the grilled Caesar! Also the Wellingtons are amazing. I had the salmon; my friend, the beef. Both were just amazing!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. we were greeted by the chef he answered all her questions. We were never rushed, and the food was the best I’ve had in Pinehurst or Southern Pines absolutely will go back frequently.

Our dinners there are always a treat. The service is friendly, accommodating and efficient. Appetizers: The Parisian style tartare was great and served with homemade tostones. French onion soup was really tasty. Our favorite salad is the grilled caesar. Dinner was a preparation of filets mignon. The filets were of such quality you could cut them with table knives and prepared to a perfect medium rare. With drinks, about 125 per person. Right now Chef George is really on his game with the best restaurant in Pinehurst.

My husband and I down there recently for my birthday. Everyone was very attentive, and it was very nice to meet the chef/owner. The meals were absolutely delicious and we will be happy to return as soon as we can!

Everything about our experience was disappointing. We had a seen a positive review on next door and thought we’d try it out. The appetizers were ok, not great. All three of us thought the main courses were over cooked with a poor. Atmosphere was lame, that of a strip mall. Service was poor, food luke warm and took forever. Extremely price for experience.

Food was excellent. We tried the tartare (Argentinian) and escargot for appetizers. Both very tasty. For main course coq au vin and saltimbocca and both were again very tasty and well portioned. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back. We’ll done chef!

The chef called us in advance to discuss our food allergies and discuss very nice options and/or modifications to the menu offerings. The entire staff was super friendly and courteous. The meal was exquisite, as well the violin played by the chef and co-owner at the end of the evening.Very impressive talent in all aspects. This will be our « go to » restaurant whenever in the Pinehurst NC area and highly recommend to all locals and tourists passing through! A GREAT find!

This restaurant has some of the best food in the area. Food is thoughtful and flavorful every time. Wait staff is friendly. I like that the chef comes out of the kitchen,if he's not super busy and visits his customers. Great for special occasions and romantic evenings or because you are in a french food mood.

TARTARE Restaurant Pinehurst, NC An Evening in France Our fabulous dinner started with a tasty amuse-bouche which was brought to our table personally by Chef George Figueroa while enjoying a fine glass of wine. We were then greeted by our server and advised that the table was ours for the entire evening. We were to relax, enjoy the evening with our friends and not to feel rushed. Throughout the entire dinner the wait staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We decided to try the tartare as an appetizer. It was delicious! We had the Classic French, the Argentine and the Avacado tartares and couldn't decide which was best. Next time we will definitely try the Tuna and the Scallop. Perusing the dinner menu was amazing and it was so difficult to decide what to order since every entree looked wonderful. We finally decided on Coq au Vin, Steak Oscar and Cordon Blu Wellington. Each of our entrees were over the top in taste and presentation. The deserts were excellent. Banana Foster, Ganache Chocolate Cake and Creme Brulee along with more fine wine. What an absolutely delightful dining experience. The evening was made extra special by violin virtuoso, Chef George himself. Having experienced French cuisine in Paris, it is now so wonderful to have an elegant and exquisite French restaurant here in Pinehurst. We look forward to returning again and again. First visit for Four of us. Two meals were great. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. But the Schnitzel two of us had was very thin and way over cooked. Very disappointing. If Chef cannot obtain quality meat for this dish, remove from the menu. (Chef Warren’s and Elliot’s has consistently wonderful schnitzel.)

We saw this new restaurant and the menu and we’re excited to try it. I ordered the “SEA Scallops” and there were a few bay scallops in the pasta. It was Horrendous. How do they advertise sea scallops and have a few small pieces of bay scallops in the dish. The French fries were $12 and were frozen. The avocado tartare was enough for one or two scoops. It was an inch by an inch and was $15. The food was not good. We were so very very disappointed. This is the worst restaurant we have ever been to in this area. I am sorry to report this restaurant is not even worth a quarter of what we were charged. The food was atrociously bad.
