Amazing food. Great service. Everyone was super friendly and made you feel at home. Will definitely be back
Hello dear staff at Tarla. It was so wonderful to be greeted by Ishmael and hosted by Yusuf. Service was terrific and well timed. The portion of appetizer was perfect. Warm lobster salad was excellent and so was the bisque. Our entree’s of scallops and rib eye were cooked to order. Thanks so much for dinner and dessert, Belinda
Santiago was great/food great/chef great/overall great
Amazing find in Napa. Food and Ambiance was great! We will be back.
The food was excellent and service was great too. I would definitely come back with friends.
I had the baba ghanoush and chicken skewer, which was excellent. Our server Jason was awesome in accommodating us as we have food allergies and sensitivities. I highly recommend this place for lunch. The food is very tasty.
Not fun. Pretentious and way too pricey for what it is. Nice decor.
were in from out of town and found food and ambiance to be delightful and food delicious
Very good service, very nice and unique menu...we did not feel rushed even though they were busy. Chef and owner both stopped by to thank us and ask how they were doing! We will go back for sure...
My first visit to Tarla and not my last. Food was absolutely delicious, nice selection. Of wine and cocktails and service spot on. It's a bit crowded once the tables begin to fill up. Only one bathroom. Didnt offer anything special for a birthday celebration.
Everything was delicious but the dinning area was a little tight.
I really, really enjoyed the food & the vegetarian options. The problem is this is another horribly noisy restaurant. I could barely hear my friend talking to me. Great food though. But why are so many restaurants this noisy? Also, the wine pour, like a lot of places, isn’t even half a glass.
Great food and appetizers, great service . Only con was very noisy... but there was a large group near us that were especially loud and inebriated. Will go back.
Authentic and fresh middle eastern food. Juicy limburger, eggplant spread, moussaka. . .try the kunafeh, shredded filo and cheese dessert, it's scrumptious!
Good food. Great location not far from Main Street. Healthy options available. Nice pleasant friendly staff too.
Food was delicious. Service was lacking but food came out of kitchen quickly.
Our waiter was friendly, attentive and super accomodating, especially when we needed chairs for our toddlers. Thank you for you for all you have done for us!
We were on vacation visiting and found this gem. We loved it!
Our party of five was excited about the interesting cocktail menu. After waiting some time for our drinks, our waiter returned to inform us that the bartender didn’t know how to make one of the cocktails from the menu, so members of our party needed to choose others. It’s also worth noting that the replacement well vodka tonics were as expensive as the more involved signature drinks. We barely saw our waiter other than when our orders were taken. To be fair, it was crowded when we first arrived but had quieted down toward the end of our meal. Our food was actually very good. About halfway through our entrees, something began burning in the open kitchen. While efforts were made to correct, the dining room was filled with the odor of whatever was burning. The smell made it difficult to enjoy the rest of our meal. The restaurant staff never addressed the issue with us. Perhaps the manager could have at least recognized the inconvenience that it was to us and other diners. You would think he might be concerned when he saw diners covering their noses to block the offensive smell. Our issue wasn’t that there was a problem in the kitchen, but rather that nothing was done to address with us. It’s really a shame because all of the food tasted great.
Delicious food, attentive service, will be back more often.
Food was wonderful. Service was very attentive. Easily accommodated the food sensitivities and allergies in my group of 7. Would ABSOLUTELY dine here again.
My friend and I ended up at Tarla Grill because our usual place was closed for lunch due to 'restaurant week'
We've eaten there before (2016), and the food is even better.
Our waiter was very gracious and catered to all of our needs!
The only problem w/ downtown Napa is parking. If you make a reservation, be sure to allow 20 minutes to locate a spot and walk to the restaurant.
Will be back!!!
This was my second visit to this restaurant and I am I glad I came back! This place is terrific. The food preparation is superb and delicious. My friend I enjoyed two very different entrees. He enjoyed the salmon and pronounced it to be the best he has ever eaten. I had a grilled octopus salad to start which was the bomb! I also enjoyed the moussaka which was one of the best I’ve eaten. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean fare and the preparation s are very authentic. The wine list is very complete as befitting a NAPA establishment. This place is highly recommended.
I wish this place was in Dallas!
Our favorite napa valley restaurant. Love the food, service and space. So different from other places to eat.....and authentic. Thanks again.
Lovely, clean setting with low to moderate amount of noise. Wait Staff had great recommendations for wine and appetizer plate for large group and we weren't disappointed. My salmon was cooked beautifully and crisped on the bottom so nicely that I considered ordering a second plate to go for dinner! Nice spot for quick lunch or ordering appetizers and savoring a glass of wine with friends before a show.
Great dolmas, salmon and lamb but eggplant a bit disappointing
I always enjoy Tarla. The Mediterranean menu is excellent and the food very tasty. The staff is always very friendly and service is good.
In spite of the fact that we had Open Table reservations and were the first people to arrive (on time at 11:30 am) we had to wait 45 minutes to have our order taken. We had minimal contact with servers, although about 4 different people came to the table at different times. We had to ask that the music be turned down because nobody could hear each other. With respect to the food, I had the crab sandwich which seemed to be more mayo and filler than anything, and so I was disappointed. It would have been fine for a price tag of $10, but at much more than that I expect more. I won't go back because of the high prices and mediocre food, although I think it's a beautiful place.
The food here was amazing and the atmosphere was very nice. The host who greeted us though kept coughing and told us 3 times how sick she was. That was a little off putting before a meal. Everything else was exceptional.
Fantastic food! Really enjoyed our dining experience from apps through dessert.
Loud, cramped and not very pleasant. Getting our server to actually pay attention to us was quite the chore.
Absolutely delicious! We had the chicken shish kebab and brassicas!
I wanted a lamb chip off the price fixe menu and was told no I couldn't do that except by buying the entire menu. There was nothing else in that menu I wanted to eat. Major disappointment. It was mega nosy in there. Unhappy new years eve.
We got together with friends for a holiday celebration brunch and Tarla did a great job. We have several dietary considerations and there was something for everyone.
Our server was accommodating and informative when we asked questions and made requests.
This lovely place is well located in First street and within walking distance from many of the local hotels.
Love Tarla. Food is excellent, with one hell of a bartender. Front of the house, awesome.
We had very tasty dishes (chicken kebab with seasonal veggies, white truffle risotto with fried kale, quinoa salad, and warm hummus) some of which were already made gluten free or were happily modified to be GF. Very popular and busy. Despite being crowded, service was friendly.
Good food, nice environment, not enough space to move, servers squeeze by while serving, hit the chairs as they walk by with food, limited explanation of what was being served- kept us guessing!
We enjoyed it!
We enjoyed our meals at Tarla. Because it was Christmas and they were one of the few places open they may have been busier than usual and that may have been why our waitress seemed a little distracted. Overall it was very enjoyable.
