We love the food at Tarla! My husband’s favorite is the Branzino fish entree. My favorite is the lamb burger, and I like the Feta cheese with it.

We had early reservation for a combination of lunch/dinner, but Happy Hour was going when we checked in, we decided just to sit at the bar have cocktails and appetizers prior to dinner, then plan to eat dinner at bar afterwards. Our bartender (s) was great, the 2 ladies always checked on us if we need anything else. Food was delicious! Yes, highly recommend.

Solid mediterranean food. We enjoyed the short ribs (the beef was tender but a bit dry) and the gyro plate. Calamari appetizer was solid, nothing fancy with a good aoili dipping sauce. We had a couple of well drinks and the total tab was about $140 with tip for 2 people. The restaurant itself was uncomfortable since tables for 2 are basically placed in the center aisle of the floor with hallway traffic on both sides...not great for any kind of romantic dinner or date night out. Honestly, you are paying for eating in downtown Napa so this place is comparable to restaurants in this area.

It was a delicious experience. Every bite I took, I wanted more. Will definitely come back to Napa just for this restaurant. I got the trio dip with the wanted pita bread, lamb/beef gyro, and meatballs with their creamy zucchini soup. Holy crap, I happy danced the entire time.

This is essentially Greek food, and it is delicious. It is properly cooked, and well presented. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. We ( 2 of us) sat outside on a lovely day, and the whole thing was enjoyable. We thought it was very good value for money.

We were here for honeymoon, and this was our first night out for dinner. The food was great, but we were expecting better service. The waiter was VERY attentive to tables with young women, but not to us. He barely came to our table throughout the evening to check on us, but had enough time to had full conversations with others. Go for the food- not the service.

Too many "servers" taking care of our table. Two meals arrived and then we had to wait forever for the other two - NOT GOOD. It is rude to start eating before everyone else is served. Also, our area was inundated with what I call fruit flies. They were constantly hovering over our table and our food - very annoying as we had to keep trying to whip them away. The food was good buy the above two things took away from that. It had been a long time since we had been there and I was looking forward to lunch, but alas we were disappointed.

The staff was very accommodating especially during a cold evening with spots of rain (we sat outside). The waitress was exceptional: friendly, upbeat, responsive, gave suggestions, etc. We had the 3 dips and two appetizers. The zucchini cakes were good as was the tzatziki. The baba ghanoush and hummus were a little bland. The pitas were warm and soft.

Overall, we had a delicious meal at Tarla Grill and the service was very good. Drinks were good but my Manhattan was literally three sips once the large ice cube was taken out. A little pricey. 4/5 Calamari was almost half fried red pepper strips. Seemed like too much filler. The calamari was cooked well, but the coating on both did not stay on. 3/5 Lamb Burger was the star. Absolutely seasoned to perfection with the perfect condiments. Truly the best burger I’ve had in many years. 5/5 Looking at other meals go by made me want to come back to try something else, but I pretty sure I will be having the burger again if I do.

The service was great. The appetizer was the best part of the meal. I had moussaka that was supposedly made with short rib beef. Honestly, I couldn’t tell and although the dish was good, it wasn’t outstanding. My wife had the penne with Salmon. The fish was delicious but penne was just penne. My second visit. I’d go back again.

Tarla is our go-to when we want delicious food and cocktails. Even the falafel, normally just a “staple,” was beyond any I’ve ever had before. When the simple things are so perfect, the rest just follows. And for people who get the short ribs, always eat the peppers with the beef. Always.

Very disappointed We choose the risotto with white truffle, kale and mushroom. It was not rice for risotto, also it looked like the rice didn’t cook slowly with the sauce but just rice boiled in water. No taste of white truffle and the mixed with crispy kale wasn’t good. I don’t recommend

Outstanding value. Food was excellent. The flaming Saganaki appetizer was delicious. We had the chicken kabobs and the beef + lamb doner kebab. Both were also delicious. The soup of the day was tomato-basil. I normally don't care for tomato soup, but this soup was yummy! Wonderful restaurant decor, + excellent service made for a wonderful afternoon lunch. The price was relatively inexpensive too. Would have been a good value at 2X the price.
