Excellent- had lunch outside with som friends. Great
Service and great food
Not the best experience in dining. Our server wasn't well-trained overall...added unordered items to our check. Seemed very confused in processing credit cards and tips.
The visit made Sunday a great Father’s Day.
The value for the food just isn't there. We had breakfast and it was decent but my two eggs, toast, sausage and potatoes (which looked like they were from frozen as they were the little potato cubes) was $14. Proper value for this meal would be more in the range of $9 - $11.
We are so happy we have rediscovered Tark’s. The crab cakes are maybe the best around. Loved the Saturday night DJ outside! If you like bad parking situation or over-priced menu down the road then you may not want to come. The staff here is great and genuine. Keep up the great work and see you again soon.
Consistently great!! We go there at least once a month and are never disappointed
Thank you Skyler!
The dining experience was comfortable and special on a Friday night. It had been a few years since our last time dining at Tark''s, and we noticed the changes in the dinner menu variety and service immediately, all for the best. We suggest the lobster roll and scallops. They are well balanced meals, which we prefer over Cheesecake Factory sized portions. We look forward to coming back.
I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes wit lump crab
Always a 5 star experience. Never a complaint. Outdoor seating is wonderful; a perfect patio. Court side bar is a welcome addition. Can’t wait to return.
This was a birthday lunch, as stated on the reservation. The service outside was terrible. After 1/2 hr we finally said is there a dessert menu. Thought he would bring out a complimentary dessert....no!! Come on Tarks, you can do a lot better.
Service was good, can't say the same about the food. Mediocre at best. My sons burger was way over cooked, the flatbread was ordinary and my po'boy was blah to mediocre at best.
We were celebrating middle school graduation with the grandparents. Ambience was good. Servers were very nice, but the kitchen must have been off. It took forever to get our food out and then they didn’t bring it all at the same time so half of our party had to sit and wait. The portions were so small I thought they had brought me an appetizer by mistake instead of an entree. Not worth it. Will hesitate before going back.
Food and service were fine. However, the drinks were skimpy and way way overpriced for a place that I would classify as being a moderate/casual restaurant. A Makers Mark Manhattan came in a half-filled cocktail glass and was $13 dollars plus a $3 surcharge called "Manhattan up". Believe me this was not a $16 cocktail nor is Tark's the caliber of restaurant that should be charging $16 for a full cocktail glass drink
Loved the outdoor dining. The food and service were great.
My best experience there in years
Always great at Tark’s
Tark's accommodated our group of 17 for a graduation celebration; private room. Service was prompt and all of the staff were pleasant. Steak was cooked perfect to order. In-laws from out of town loved the crab cakes and went back the next day for more. Lol!
We started out with the lobster nugs which were fantastic, just the right amount of heat and the chutney was flavorful. Seafood risotto was excellent and the rock fish tasty.
Our group of 5 went for lunch. Our waitress was very accommodating in that one member of the group was over 30 minutes late. We were never made to feel rushed and the food was very good.
Sorry you cannot get light fare anymore in the dinning room. Won’t be back.
Tarik's is fast becoming my "go to" destination for comfortable, good, and satisfying dining. In other words, Tarks is now high on my list of favorites!
Always a special time at tarks. Great food, excellent service, ideal outdoor patio dining. This restaurant is consistently dependable. A star in the county
Loved the menu. its seldom I find so many things on a menu I'd love to try. Service was awesome. Glad to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Will definitely return!
Overall, very nice...good food, but pricey ...Seemed that our Server had a large area to take care of (stretched a little thin) and, therefore, service was just ok.
Great dinner outside on the lovely patio dining area. Excellent service, ambiance, and food.
Interior is dated and needs modernization. Outside patio great. Hoped that menu would mimic the creativity of sister restaurant City Cafe. Good food but very heavy and large portions.
We were disappointed this time. I got the cream of crab soup which seemed can based. The beef carpaccio was just not tasty. My husband's fish was pretty bad. My brother in law's spring rolls were just okay. Our waiter was nice but kept getting drink orders wrong but with the high noise level maybe he couldn't hear.
I continue to give this restaurant 5 star. They are at the top of their game and I would give them more stars if I could. Everything was delicious. The service was professional and yet friendly. Their out door seating is the best in Baltimore county and Thursday night music is a welcome addition. Always a great to go to tarks!
Love eating al fresco -
Lovely outdoor dining. The music was unnecessary and made an already noisy space more so.
Great outdoor dining and good tunes.
I ate at Tark's Grill with three long-time female friends. Two of us had been there before. Since it was a beautiful spring evening we sat outside which was very pleasant. The first time I ate at Tark's, I dined inside again with a group of female friends. The experiences were different. When I ate inside, there was a more formal, elegant atmosphere. Dinning outside was more casual. Dinning outside certainly gave a different vibe to the restaurant. For this visit, the waitress was friendly and experienced. As we did not have appetizers, our main courses came quickly. They were pleasingly plated, hot, generous portions, and perfectly seasoned. Though our food came quickly, were were not rushed to order or to leave after our plates were taken away. Prices are more on the higher end with entrees ranging in the high twenty dollar range to the high thirty dollar range. I definitely would recommend Tark's Grill for something a little more special.
There were 3 people in our party. One wanted a burger. We were informed that they no longer
serve burgers in the main dining area;only in the bar area. This is a neighborhood restaurant of
which I have been a loyal customer since the day it originally opened, and now with new owners. I think this decision is short sighted and I don't want to sit in an extremely NOISY bar.
Got along without you before I met you, gonna get along without you now.
Always a good meal here. The wine list could be improved.
A perfect evening. Buck A Shuck oysters is a great way to introduce out of town friends to our favorite restaurant. Oysters were delicious., other entrees just as good as ever. Lots of great energy. A perfect spot!
Have not been here for several years but will come back soon. The food was excellent, the service attentive but not cloying, several dishes unique (the seafood risotto was unshelled and delicious), and the wine by the glass a bit more extensive than many similar Baltimore restaurants.
Went there after a college graduation. Very accommodating and excellent waitstaff. comfortable, private dining. No rush by the staff. They brought focaccia to the table upon request. We had the cream of crab and MD soups. Generous portions, loaded with crab. Brussel sprouts were a big hit. Buffalo wings were so-so. Entrees were double jumbo lump crab cakes, NY strip, grilled Bronzini, soft crab special, steak salad and "something vegan." My foodie sons loved the Bronzini, and the soft shell crab. The steak dishes were fine. The crab cakes were small but tasty. My vegan stuffed tomato was a nice vegan option although pricey for a tomato. The restaurant atmosphere contributed to a wonderful celebration. Quite pricey though. $22 for 6 regular coffees seemed high. Mixed drinks were good. I would come again for a special occasion. The only complaint was the rain made the ceramic tile one must walk across to get to the door VERY SLIPPERY, especially with older members of our party.
disappointing experience. Crab soups were not hot, service slow and unprofessional
We had the Prime Rib Monday special for $20 includes baked potato and broccoli. The prime rib was fantastic. I couldn't finish my meal. The beer prices were reasonable as well. Nice atmosphere...Easy to get to off I-695. We sat outside near the water feature. It was lovely.
