Liked the new make over very attractive!!
Two weeks in Pikesville and this was by far my best dining experience!
Great food and service. More on the pricey side but always consistent
Best brunch in the county!
The renovations are quite nice! We arrived on time and were seated accordingly. Our cocktails were smooth...Our appetizers, entrees and deserts were pleasing to the eye and very tasty! We enjoyed the ambience and company so much that we practically closed the place down! As always we enjoyed our experience at Tark’s.
The new look is fantastic!
Thank you to ANDY et al. Ellen
The hostess seated me right away, had a reservation. Our waiter was outstanding and the food was delicious. They had a good variety of food to choose from, such as; steak, seafood, duck and lamb as well as vegan recipes. The portion size were filling and I had to take half of mine home. I had the Airborne chicken breast. Meat was tender and the sides were delicious. Tried their homemade drink and wasn’t impressed but everything else was very good.
I used to go to Tarks quite often, and then towards the end of the old regime in the beginning of the new, things had drifted south. Recently, I tried Tark’s again. First, they have re-decorated and the new appearance is brighter and cleaner. The menu also has undergone a face lift. There are more interesting items and the food was excellent.
All in all, a good experience.
I always enjoy Tark's, either for a special occasion, or for just a good dinner.
Tark’s is a favorite of so many, and for good reason. One of those reasons is no longer on the menu. Please bring back your delicious hamburgers.
Server was nice, but a very slow. Tables were so close together that I was in other table's conversations - wasn't always appropriate to overhear and I was uncomfortable.
Very loud. Won't return.
We had a wonderful meal at Tark’s for my husbands birthday. We hadn’t been since ownership changed a few years ago, and will definitely be back! They are currently undergoing some renovations so the ambience was not the greatest, but I can’t wait to see how it looks when they are finished! Both of our meals and our dessert were delicious. Bravo for a job well done!
The new decor is a huge improvement. Very attractive.
Tarks has been recently renovated. It looks very nice but unfortunately it is so bright it’s distracting to eat there. He mentioned it to the manager and he said they were still working on the lighting. Hopefully they will adjust it. It was like eating in a McDonald’s restaurant. Other than that it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
The staff is in sync and ready to make your dinner special. Delicious vegan dish and lobster roll too!
Great, except it was very loud, hard to have conversation.
Easy and pleasant.
It started out with a wonderful waitress and ended with a fabulous blondie and the best of the best Tajarka Brothers ice cream. The crab soup was lacking the promised jumbo lump crab meat. We mentioned it to the waitress, and she brought out two ramekins of crab meat. The entrees were all excellent, and I thought the lobster roll was delicious, right up there with the famous one from Fells Point. We stayed and chatted, and no one made us feel uncomfortable or rushed. Tark's is a perfect neighborhood restaurant, even if it isn't your neighborhood.
The noise level was deafening
A very varied, interesting menu. The noise level was very high, but settled down as people left.
I shall definitely be back to try some of the other items offered. The tuna salad was delicious.
I have been to Tark’s many times. The food was as good as always and the service was excellent. I gave a low rating for ambience for a restaurant that is usually 5- stars in this category. It was not until we arrived that we found that our only choices for seating were in the always lively, noisy and crowded bar or outside in an area that had inadequate space heaters for a brisk Fall evening, because they are renovating the dining room. This dinner was for my Mother’s 92nd birthday. So we couldn’t even hear in the bar so we ate outside. My Mother and my Wife were both chilled through the entire dinner with temperatures in the 50s. Management needs to address this with more and better heaters if outside is going to be the only real choice for dinner seating. And as long as they are renovating they need to contact anyone that makes a reservation through Open Table to let them know of this issue. We would have made a different choice for this very special dinner if I was aware of the renovation and what it meant for seating choice.
The food was fantastic. The service was good and drinking wine with a great friend was priceless!
Excellent service from Francisco
Spectacular night for outside. Our server was professional, knowledgeable of the menu, and easy to interact with. Crab soups - both vegetable and cream - were outstanding. Main course was great and blonde dessert to share was perfect.
Always a family favorite, with good food and a good location.
Our first visit to Tarks was outstanding. Our food was served promptly and hot.
The food is consistently good! The menu includes a nice variety of local favorites. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and helpful. The music on the house speakers is too loud for enjoying conversation at your own table. It is hard to hear people at the same table talking.... the only disappointing feature.
Many new things on the menu
Enjoyed the blacken chicken sliders & the salads were excellent
Great place for a business meeting
Will be back again
Food was delicious and beautufully presented. Staff were friendly but could have been more attentive.
Business lunch in busy setting with ample ability to converse and very good food & service. Tark’s is a bit pricy for the average lunch but well worth it for those important milestones.
I like the menu variety, and everything was very tasty. The beer options weren’t plentiful, but all bases were covered.
The salmon sandwich was to die for! I either didn’t read the description carefully or was just happily surprised, but the slice of avocado on the sandwich definitely was a delicious addition!
A perfect luncheon. Outside seating is delightful. Excited about the renovation. Shrimp salad is the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the avocado toast. Out of this world. Can’t wait to return. Love it.
The outdoor dining area is beautiful! The food was very good. My only complaint was the service/ we had the bartender as our waiter and it was difficult for him to handle the outside bar and our table. The 1st coffee came out cold and then he got us hot coffee and it was so dark I couldn’t drink it. He never said a word about why I didn’t drink the coffee. A good server should notice things like that and take them off the check.
The food is great, the service is excellent. There is plenty of free parking in a convenient, northern Baltimore location, not far from the city limit.
Food was excellent and accompanying wine was also very good, but a bit on the pricey side.
Took friends that have not been: they really enjoys Tark’s!
The food is in the city on even. Three of us like you’re on trees well three of us thought they were just figure. The restaurant is beautiful, and the service is very nice and professional.
Made a reservation with Open Table on a Sunday morning and were seated promptly. We were then ignored for twenty minutes while tables that were empty when we were seated filled and had there orders taken. Ultimately had to approach the hostess who seemed not to recognize that she had seated us and never apologized or offered an explanation.
The food, when it arrived, was excellent.
