Service was attentive, outstanding and prompt. Food was prepared excellently, and delivered piping hot. The sambusa were delicious. The shirin polo, chicken with rice dish was tender and juicy, with a mound of crunchy savory rice. The New York Steak was great, rare as expected, tender and delicious. Both main dishes were way too much for adults to finish, snd made great leftovers. Chocolate cake was a nice way to end the meal. I will be going back soon!
Great food with Persian and Chinese cuisine options with nice environment and outstanding service!
Dined outside due to covid restrictions. Nice service, although they cannot serve wine .. unfortunate. Had great lamb kabob .. food was excellent, although small portion on the lamb, but was really delicious. Good rice & mezzo platter.
Tarim has great Iranian cuisine. They took over for Arya and the food is very similar, tastes great!
Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were (very nicely!) told that we were unable to bring our dogs to the patio for outdoor dining due to new regulations. It’s a nice space, seemingly quiet and nice staff!
It has changed hands since we were there last ( 4 months ago). But they kept their Persian menu which is what we go for. Thank goodness.
We were probably the first dine in patrons since the stay at home orders. We were the only table, but that was OK! The waitress was very pleasant. The food is very good. We had the murtabak bread and lamb kebobs. I would go back.
The food, service and the environment were excellent!
I would recommend Arya on any day except Valentine's.. I understand it is a holiday and every place hikes up the prices but $50 per person for a shared appetizer, 1 entree each and a shared dessert which were two small pieces of cake. The kicker here is the 18% tip that was automatically added to our bill which I think is extremely high! I know tips are added with groups of 6 or more but for just my wife and I?? I would have tipped our waiter anyways but not the max because our service was just mediocre and it wasn't even busy at the time.
The food was decent but we paid for a Valentine’s Day special , with reservations made weeks in advance. The confirmation email we received said to be prepared for a show of “live music and belly dancing”, but when we got there the place was mostly empty and the belly dancing supposedly didn’t start for 3 more hours. The “live music” was one man playing morose keyboard muzak and he didn’t start until we were already done with our food. We attempted to speak to the manager who apologized and offered for us to stay at our table all night and wait for the belly dancing show but we didn’t want to wait all night - we wanted a show with our dinner like the email confirmation stated. He gave us a discounted meal ticket for the next time we come back but I still felt disappointed and mislead by the email resveration and I know we were not the only ones because the table next to us was asking the wait staff the same questions re: the show.
My cousin and I had the beef shish kebab which was EXCELLENT. My wife and my cousin's daughter had different seafood and pasta dishes. Also EXCELLENT. This was our first time at the restaurant but definitely not the last.
Food was very good and very large portions. Our server was excellent. He was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and made great suggestions.
The food was very good. I had lamb souvlaki and my wife had the lamb shank with vegetables as she can't have rice. Both dishes were very tasty. Our server did an excellent job. He was very attentive and accommodating.
Fabulous New Years Eve dinner with great food, party atmosphere and dancing up to midnight along with champagne toast with balloon drop! You don’t have to travel far for a lovely night out!
Thank you so much for dining with us! We wish you a fabulous 2020!!
It’s a good restaurant but not as great as it used to be. The manager is super nice and caring but the service received from the other team members was ok. We waited almost 20 minutes just to get water and that was after we had our appetizer. We had to tell 3 different waiters about what’s needed before we got it.
Food was also ok and not that great.
Excellent food but the service was lacking. Still waiting for the manager to explain sales tax at 11% including the tax on the gratuity which was actually taxed twice. Sales tax in Cupertino is 9%.
I am so sorry to hear about your visit, Mike did address this and correct it. It was a computer error we did not know about. He also left you a gift card in the front desk for all your trouble. Thank you so much we would love for you to back soon! Fera
Not expect to change
We have been to Arya for lunch and dinner and the food is consistently good. We love eating there and recommend everyone should visit this location.
This place always hits the spot - not too expensive and the staff is super friendly. We sat in the side room so it was more quiet and cozy. No complaints - will definitely go back.
It was a fun evening with my family!
Menu needs a little updating, too many similar foods rice /tomato with various types of kebobs.Would be beneficial to introduce different types of salads, & vegetables to appeal to a vegetarian and health conscious crowd
The food is always consistent and it's never too loud. We had our favorite waitress (Debra) who is WONDERFUL!!! We've tried a few other Iranian places in the area and they just never taste as good.
Music was too loud
The food was really good and service was great. We even danced to the tunes along with the belly dancer. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
We went to Arya on a Friday night, we had a table for 4. The food was good (the meat koobideh was hard to chew). Our server Carlos was fast and friendly. We loved the live music, the belly dancer and the disco lights. We totally had an awesome time
The noise was too loud otherwise it is a great place. Also please bring back some items like the stuffed chicken and steaks.
Service was fine. I ordered Baghali Polo with Joojeh. The herbs didn't taste fresh. I wonder if dry herbs are being used which is not a good sign. Dishes lacked flavor and salt. Some of the grilled tomatoes were small and tasteless.
We came on Saturday night before the show and were able to order from the regular menu. My wife had a flavored rice dish with a beef kabob, I had the lamb chops. Both meals were very good and more than we could finish. We both had dessert and drinks. The bill came to just about the same as the prix fixe dinner.
By the way I would like to give a shoutout to Carlos who was the epitome of a professional waiter. Courteous, attentive but not hovering, and helpful in menu suggestions and answers.
Nice Place, Good food, Great people
Had chicken and beef
Recommend to others
No corkage fee for byo wine!
The service was very efficient and sensitive to my allergy needs. They
went beyond my expectations when adapting my dishes. We had a quiet and
very pleasant lunch with a helpful waiter.
The food was excellent and the service was wonderful.
They raised their prices. $80 one person with 2 drinks.
You need a reservation for weekends night for sure. Anytime we have a birthday or taking friends out to dinner, we come to this restaurant even though it's 45 minutes away from my house. It's worth it.
Great spread for Mothers Day brunch. There was breakfast as well as lunch. The desserts were good too.
Food is wonderful, lots to choose from. Highly recommend specialty rice options. Planning on coming back for belly dancing night!
Good Persian Music, Belly Dancing, friendly staff and not in a hurry to throw us out ( non-rushed service)!
Family get together
Manager was super accommodating with our few extra requests, service from Carlos was outstanding, and the food/drinks were all loved by my lady and her friends. Will definitely be coming back when we have more time.
Note to future guests: if you book your reservation for the fixed menu / entertainment Saturday, don’t make the mistake I made of making plans an hour and a half after dinner. Though that’s usually enough time to eat/enjoy/converse, I wish i would have allowed us more time to partake in the singing/dancing festivities!
Service and food was great.
Good food, nice atmosphere, servers try hard. An enjoyable experience.
