   BLT is the best you'll find. Grilled cheese decadent. This tine I tried the chicken and beef tacos. They were ok. Filling. Coconut cream pie is very good. Wife's birthday so the plate was drizzled with chocolate. Admit that little bit of chocolate made the cake even better. Ordered a bottle of wine as we always appreciate Tarbell's not adding a markup.

   The food is always delicious. We had a great time and Mark came around to say hi, which is always a treat.

   We came for the Walter Scott Wine Tasting and stayed for dinner. We shared the patty melt and the grapefruit and avocado salad. Excellent!

   Great hamburgers. Best thing, though, is the bartenders--Shante in particular--who know regular customers.

   Excellent food as usual, and the manager remembered a less than stellar evening we had several weeks ago and gave us some special treatment on this occasion. Great value for the quality of service and food.

    Tarbell’s Tavern is my ‘go-to’ spot for drinks or dinner. They have an amazing bartender and the vibe local and cool.
