A Hidden Gem on Retro Row Tucked away in Long Beach’s Retro Row, this unassuming restaurant surprises from the moment you step inside. A walk through a twinkle-lit hallway alongside a windowed kitchen creates the feeling of being transported onto a movie set—magical, intimate, and completely unexpected. Out back: a cozy patio where a live saxophonist sets the mood with smooth melodies under the sky. The service is quick, personal, and incredibly warm—making you feel like a welcome guest. The food is outstanding—full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The wine list is well-curated, and dessert is delicious. From start to finish, this place offers a truly memorable dining experience. A must-visit in Long Beach.

Above average kitchen crafted Italian fare with a rear patio that exudes vibes from another place and time. Point off for a terrible hack job pruning of the jacaranda tree that shaded the patio. I get that jacaranda trees are messy but the cleanup is so worth it aesthetically.

We went on a Saturday around 8pm and they had live music which is really nice the atmosphere. The server and the staff were wonderful. The restaurant is not a super fancy restaurant, but it is more of an authentic relax italian restaurant which I enjoyed more. The food was great. I ordered the carbonara, and it was really good but is not the best I have tried. She ordered the parpadelle one and it was good. They give you bread to start which was really good. And we ordered a bottle of the Chianti Classico 2019 which was phenomenal. At the end, one of the staff or owner not sure, gifted everyone with a spumanti bottle which we were gratefully amaze! Overall, cute place for a dinner date, and I would go back again and again. They have a back patio fyi.

Nice atmosphere and entertainment in the back patio. The food was authentic Italian cuisine that tasted great.

If you’re looking looking for some delicious Italian food, go to Tarantella on Fourth. Patio ambience makes you feel like you’re in another country. They have music almost nightly. Owner is very pleasant and gives wonderful recommendations on both meal and wine pairing. Yes, they take reservations! If you haven’t tried Tarantella of Fouth you are missing out. Go give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
