Very delicious food. Only compliant was service was rushed, but it is also NYC.
Comfortable. Simple. But lively enough to enjoy immensely. Great service. Try the "House Sparkling."
This was our (my wife & I) first visit & it exceeded our expectations on all levels.
Christian recommended the homemade pasta and it was sublime.
Pretty atmosphere & delicious repast.

Food was good but there was absolutely no service. Maybe they were short staffed that night but unfortunately very poor dining experience due to lack of service.
The friendliness of the staff seems genuine.

Lovely , small, restaurant. The branzino was prepared very well and the salad was delicious. I am very picky and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this restaurant. I will absolutely return.
Met a neighborhood friend for dinner and to catch up on life events - charming service, delicious food with sizable portions of fish (I had Branzino, my friend Salmon). I would have enjoyed a bit larger amount of accompanying veggies & eggplant purée. Caesar salad w/julienned kale terrific. Lemon tart delightful.
Pre Delacorte in Central Park, necessitated finding a restaurant close to the park. As I have been to two other Vino... I made the reservation and was not disappointed. As with the others, the hostess and server were most accommodating and the food was outstanding. We shared the burrata appetizer and each had the scallops. Both were excellent. But my preference is still for their fantastic pastas. Next time. Friendly atmosphere in a locals restaurant .
Food and service outstanding.
We had a lovely lunch with dear friends. The artichoke soup was a amazing and the rest of the food was really good too. The server was very and attentive to our needs.
The service and the food was wonderful!! We will definitely go again. Spaghetti was Al dente, salmon was moist and delicious... cooked to perfection.
Food was good- not amazing. Was a little expensive for what it was but overall nice. Cheese plate was great! Salmon was average. Bob salad very nice. Smaller place then I expected. Very open like a bistro. Desserts not worth mentioning. Would go back
More like a diner with $21 glasses of Barolo wine! Tables are small with no tablecloths at prices more in keeping with more upscale restaurants. The chicken had been previously cooked and tasted over cooked and dry. The accompanying fingerlings were over cooked also. Steak was pale and wet on the outside. Not horrible, but not worth the money.
This is small bar, dine in and on sidewalk which determines noise level etc. Food was well prepared among our group, limited wine but good neighborhood experience.

Warm environment with delicious food and nice menu. Seating is tight but acceptable. Server was nice and appropriately attentive. Would enthusiastically return.
I had a lovely lunch of butter lettuce salad and a decadent cheese ravioli with mushroom butter sauce. Great service as well and I can't wait to go back.

I found this restaurant on Open Table and the reviews were very good. We had reservations for 5pm and got there a little early. We were greeted and seated immediately. I am gluten free and the waiter knew the menu and helped me out. We had two appetizers, two meals, one dessert, and three glasses of wine. I thought the prices were fair for what we got. My wife had the meatball appetizer and I had the octopus. We both enjoyed our dish. She had a pasta dish and I had the risotto. We were both pleased with our meals.
It was nice and quiet while we were there but it wasn’t full.
I would go back and would recommend it others.

One of our absolute brunch and dinner favorites on the UWS. Tiny, and with tables close together, but the food is so good you won't notice. Too bad it's been discovered -- it's busy now!

The food and service were fantastic. We didn’t know what a tiny place it is until we were inside, and the music was blaring. But when we asked, they kindly turned down the volume (twice).
We were disappointed that there was no liquor and just wine. We were both looking forward to a martini. When we did order wine, the four was so small. I’ve never had such a small pourw in my life! The hostess was very hostile and we almost walked out! We were glad that we stay because it was the licious and the server was also very nice and attentive
We did not stay to eat so I can’t comment on the food. However I have walked by the restaurant many times remarking at its charming ambiance. Booked a reservation for Sunday, and this charming Italian restaurant had been turned into a super bowl sports bar, multiple screens, screaming kids, and poor ventilation. If I’d wanted a sports bar, I would have gone to a sports bar to watch the game. Sadly, when booking the open table reservation there was zero mention of this change in dining atmosphere. We promptly left.

I saw that this place has a perfect rating and got curious about it. The food was incredible, charred octopus was #1 favorite, so delicious. Bone marrow, saffron risotto was delicious and nice size portion. Tiramisu was great, not too sweet. The bread that was bought to the table also stood out! It had nice size pieces of olives in it, so very good! The espresso that I got with dessert was very tasty, perfectly dialed in, not too bitter, not too sour. And since I went during restaurant week, the price was more than fair!
I discovered this place a month ago. It was two blocks from my hotel and I had a wonderful three course meal. It was a real discovery. So on my return trip to New York I went there again, this time with my wife, and our experience was also excellent. In fact, I just recommended it to a friend and we will have dinner there in three weeks on my next trip to New York. A wonderful restaurant in every way!
I tried Tarralucci for the first time last week on an overnight trip to NYC. I went solo--sometimes not a great experience in Manhattan--but this couldn't have been lovelier. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, the staff greeted me with genuine friendliness, the food was exceptionally good (Try the gnocci with a glass of Barolo--perfect) and 3 courses were served with truly impeccable timing. I will definitely return. This place seems good for couples, and the bar crowd was having fun without intruding on the diners.
This was a warm, welcoming place and the mains were really good, albeit a little pricey. The sides were ok, as were the desserts. My favorites were the spaghetti and the steak.
