We eat here several times a month for business lunches. Always good food and service. Had the soup of the day which was Asparagus & Zucchini, it was too watery not enough texture to the soup. Farro salad with chicken is excellent. Finish up with great coffee.
Good food, small portions, and not so great service.
Had a great meal here, me my manager for lunch and it was a great choice. Good food, great service, and a wonderful ambiance.
Went for Sunday brunch. Pasta portions were pretty small but maybe that was because it was brunch. Farro, arugula, butternut squash, feta salad was awesome. Drink prices were reasonable.
Bread for the table was not very good
Always good. A little noisy but not horrible
We discovered this restaurant by accident, when we tried to go to Rolf's last year for a holiday meal. We are SO happy we did and we've been back several times. Tarallucci is classy yet relaxed, with lovely ambiance and delicious food. This time my mom was visiting NYC for the first time in decades and we wanted to bring her someplace special. In my reservation notes, I'd requested a dry bottle of rosé around a certain pricepoint, and when we walked in our server had it ready. Not only was the food stupendous, they always have a great gluten-free selection for me and it didn't disappoint this time round. To top everything off, our server was a gem and made the meal so memorable and even more special.
Nice neighborhood feel for a restaurant just off Fifth Avenue. Quiet when we arrived fairly early around 6:00, but got a lot noisier as it filled up. The food was interesting: my chicken was spiced in an unusual way, fairly hot but not over the top. Way too many fingerling potatoes on the plate. Simple menu. Tiny bathroom. Waiter was very nice and friendly, though we had to wait quite a while for the check.
Delicious, authentic, fresh and fabulous Italian food in a lovely and lively setting. Great bar, great service, and wonderful atmosphere.
Fabulous! First time and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything! Food was outstanding!
We came here for the fixed price brunch menu, but they informed us (after we had ordered the beverages) that they had no pastry items. Then, when the check came, they charged us for the fixed price anyway.
Very noisy (Xmas party?). Service was amateur, at best. Food was good, not great.
Before sitting we were not informed that at the time they were not serving the full menu, but only paninis and salads. We went there for a full lunch not a snack.
Casual eatery but mediocre and unmemorable. Disappointing service. Location is good though and decor is modern and comfortable. Food was fine but nothing special.
Tarallucci e Vino is a fantastic restaurant. I’m Italian and can testify the food is ‘real’ with excellent produces and balanced, well-executed dishes. Cornetti and bomboloni are above expectations. Additionally, the service is excellent and very friendly, especially when we go there with our two toddlers. Great spot for brunch with family or lunch/dinner with friends.
Food was delicious, service was very good. Prefer less noise to be able to have a conversation.
Service was excellent. We had 8pp for a brunch and were hosted perfectly. Thank you again for everything. We will return.
Love this place! Had brunch there recently....wonderful menu, and the food was prepared beautifully. Only glitch was my decaf cappuccino...had 1 cup at the beginning of the meal, and one with dessert (a fabulous cheesecake)....both not hot enough!
I'm a big fan of Tarallucci's across the city. Good food and wine, reliable and comfortable. Our waiter this time was kind of spaced out, but then again we all are sometimes! Will return.
Great food and atmosphere for reunion dinner with college age relative. Right level of fun.
We had to ask multiple times to get tea and coffee...
Service pleasant , but very confused and slow. Not usually the case here.
Food was excellent, waiters friendly but service was slow, was not cheap but high quality
Booked this for a business meeting. One of our meals came much much later than the others. The whole group waited for that last entree to come which turns out they had forgotten to make. Manager refused to comp the meal, awkward after the waiter had said he would ask the manager. Very embarrassing experience as I had booked this for my boss and clients.
The pasta dishes are always very fresh. The drinks are on the high end to have with lunch. The service is very slow so you will need more than an hour which makes it difficult to go for lunch.
We had dinner after a Saturday afternoon show over Labor Day weekend
It was quiet outside and our server was A doll ( wish I could remember his name- he’s from Huntington)
Ask for him. We had wine, mozzand super fresh tomatoes and the gnocchi with asparagus
Met two long-time friends here on a recent visit to NYC. We were going to wait in the bar, but it was really noisy, so the staff kindly led us to our comfortable and quiet table. We ordered an assortment of cheeses and meats with the platter arriving with very generous portions of speck, prosciutto, and sheep, buffalo, and cow cheeses, as well as grilled bread and honey. Really good. Two of us had pasta dishes, one the scallops. The food was delicious, but the staff was even better. They were accommodating and entertaining. We stayed for hours and never felt like we needed to give up the table.
We had a good, not great, meal. The octopus was good but could have been a bit more tender, the meatballs were very nice, the branzino was excellent, with very good sides that came with it. Tables are a bit close, but fortunately the place was not too crowded.
I keep coming back to this restaurant because of its food and ambiance. The only negative is that sometimes it can get too warm in the dining area
Great service and delicious food.
Excellent food and service! Everything was delicious from start to finish.
Really too costly. Dinner for two witN NO WINE AND NO DRINKS ,ONE DESERT WAS $132.00
They get you on the size of bottled waters -small so you have to keep ordering them. Also - no regular American coffee- just " Americano" which is not the same at all.
Not a quite place for dinner, hard to hear my friend’s voice during the meal, though the food are pretty decent.
Very good dining experience!!! I’ll defi be back in the near future!
We waited over 30 minutes just to get a waiter to finally take our order.
This was our second visit, for dinner. We had been for Saturday brunch before. We found the food on both visits to be just like what we had in Italy, fresh, well-made, and interesting, with the exception that the appetizer and pasta portions were larger than I think would work in a three-course dinner. (One of us had an appetizer and a main course and the other had a pasta and a main course.) We very much enjoyed the restaurant both times and will be returning.
I've been here in the past for Brunches. And have always enjoyed the food, service and the ambiance !!
Brought our check without our asking for it and started turning on all the lights to signal us to leave at 10:30pm even though they’re not scheduled to close until 1am. And we only sat down at 8:30pm. We had appetizers, entrees, dessert, bottle of wine, etc. It was a rushed dining experience.
Management and service was terrible
