Great Valentine’s Day special. Food was amazing. Our waitress was excellent. Only set back was the noise level. Moderately loud.
We made a reservation and then we got there they said they had no record of it and then the app acted like I canceled it. I hadn't and there was even a one hour and a 15 minute reminder sent to my phone about the reservation on our way walking over to it. We assume that because of Valentine’s Day and maybe overbooking they decided to just cancel lessons for one of the last reservations and wouldn’t own up to it. The restaurant was very rude to my friend when he inquired about our reservation and we ended up leaving and having a much better dinner at Winter - Park Avenue.
I love this place! The bar, the service and the food all outstanding. It was a tad loud when full, as it was Friday night, but it still has an intimate vibe. This is my go-to pasta place. Great martini, too!
Went here for restaurant week before a movie. Very cute space and we had a very kind waitress. Appetizer was bruschetta and meatballs. These were OK. They were out of ricotta so we had feta on the bruschetta which was interesting. I thought the bucatini alla amatriana was lovely and the sauce was awesome. The tiramisu for dessert was great! Would recommend for a casual and tasty dining experience.
We good 2-3 a month for lunch. Food and service are always great. A little too loud for me but not much you can do about the acoustics. Overall experience outweighs the noise.
Great food, service; got very noisy at peak dining hour. This restaurants is one of my "go to" restaurants for business meals/meetings. Food is excellent, staff friendly and very professional, best off-peak for more moderate noise levels. It can get very loud.
Decided to go based on reviews. Will never go again for small portions of mediocre food that is over priced. But the worst was the service, we actually saw the server, Ana, duck back behind the wall to hide, when we wanted plates after she dropped off the bread. There were only 3 tables of people when we were there.
We met here with family members we hadn't seen in a while for Sunday breakfast (10:30). We had a nice quiet table in the back, as I requested. The service was good, except that one of our party did not receive her order until the rest of us were almost finished - not a great experience. We tried to wait, but all our food was getting cold....... when we asked to have the potatoes more crispy, the waitress indicated it couldn't be done -
On the positive side, we were allowed to stay there for quite a long time, with no pressure to leave. That was much appreciated.
It suited our purpose, but we're not sure if we'll return.
Delicious, excellent service. Overall a wonderful experience and I'd go back
The manager (from Sisely) is wonderful. He makes the evening so much fun. The food is great too.
We had a wonderful meal. One of us had restaurant week which was delicious. And the other had pasta off the menu. My only issue was with how expensive the wine list by the glass. Too bad.
Great food in an easy atmosphere. Hidden gem in Union Square.
Great cup of coffee and brunch. And the selection of house made patisseries...yum!
Came for brunch at 1:30 and although they have over a dozen pastry options on their menu, only 4 were available. The breakfast sandwich was terribly oily and the mimosa glasses were plastic. Overall not impressed but the $26 brunch deal is good value for money. The place had totally cleared out by about 2pm
A reliable Union Square place with outstanding wines, consistently great food, and genial and attentive service.
This is a lovely restaurant at Union Square. Service was excellent, my guest got there before me and they gave him a seat and a coffee while he waited. We had the prix fixe luncheon menu and it was a good value. The salad was delicious, with yummy chunks of romano and candied pecans. For the main course I had Orecchiette with greens and sausage and it was excellent. Portions were generous and our waiter checked on us several times, so no lag there. I will surely go back.
Excellent service, delicious food and always accommodating when it comes to food allergens or intolerances. I usually get the duck breast here and it is always perfectly cooked.
Only issue is tables are so close and room is very noisy
food was bland
great service and food - will definitely recommend and go there again
Great place for all occasions and at anytime of the day.
It was pretty expensive for the amount of food we got, but it tasted great.
The food here has been excellent twice in 3 days. The crostini are very good, especial
Great place and staff but food was just okay
Great food, some of the best italian style pastries in the city, friendly staff, welcoming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a high quality and relaxing brunch.
I love everything about this place
Love this place. Always great fresh food and wonderful service.
We had dinner with long time friends from out of town. Everything was wonderful! Delicious food, lovely waitress, and very good staff and service. The fritto misto is probably the best ever! Noise level was extremely high but we got used to it. In spite of that, the place has a nice vibe. Oh, our reservation was on time.
The food was delicious. Unfortunately I had to ask for water 3 times in a row. I finally went to the person checking people in and she was nice enough to get us water. The service was very slow, getting our food, even getting our drinks. I made a 12:45pm reservation and we got the brunch menu and you could not order mixed drinks because they only served beer or wine at that time. We decided to not even get alcohol. The food was good, but would only return if I have the time to be patient in a city full of restaurants with quicker service. Not sure if we caught them on an off day or maybe short staffed so I would try again when I'm not in a rush.
The food was solid, though not exceptional when it came to flavor profile. Ambience was very nice. Service got off to a great start with the woman who seated me. Friendly, helpful, in no way rushing me as I arrived a couple of minutes early for my pre-theater dinner date. Unfortunately, our waiter--gruff, harried, impersonal to begin with, forgot or missed our appetizer order. When we very politely mentioned it, he instantly rebuffed the idea with a "you didn't order that." As the entrees were being delivered very, very quickly, we wondered whether we should, in fact, just skip the appetizer. Which was uncomplicated and easily delivered. So we went for it. No apologies. No regrets. No "it's on us." None of that. This would have been a 4 star out of 5. Instead it's closer to a 3. Just threw cold water on the experience.
Matt was an excellent server
Great service. Great food. Great wine. Going again.
Bonne cuisine italienne avec service un peu lent et manquant d’attention. Cadre intéressant.
Our visit was scheduled at the last minute but they took us to the table right away. THe dining room is larger than you'd expect but the noise levels made it easy enough to converse. The pasta was just what we were in the mood for. My duck ragu was served in a rolled pasta which made it light and satisfying at the same time. Good selection of unique wines and the waitress seemed knowledgeable about them.
Great spot for union square for a quick bite to eat. Portions are a little small but food is tasty.
Bartenders, Host and Wait staff were all OUTSTANDING!!!
Nice service, food was good, small portions. A bit noisy for conversations. Great location and decor.
Part of our order was forgotten
Celebrated double birthdays with yummy food and outstanding service. Perfect all around!
It was an average experience with a low to wine’s prices.
