We love Italian food and wanted a spot at Union Square close to the Vineyard Theatre which had an early curtain. What a delight to have prompt and attentive service with well prepared antipasti, salad and entrees of pasta& pinsa along with Negronis and selection of wine! I look forward to our next visit!

My girlfriend and I are visiting New York City to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and we decided to make this the restaurant for our anniversary dinner. It ended up being a great choice as the ambience and service was over the top amazing! Would definitely come here again. The food is very good. Highly recommend the gnocchi and the asparagus!!

This is the second time my office has come here this year, and we were blown away yet again by the great food and wonderful service. Since we were 8 people, we sampled quite a few dishes on the menu: The Frito Misto was light and crunchy, the burrata pizza was super tasty (and nicely divided into 8 squares), as was the octopus, and the salad was super refreshing. The steak got high marks, as did the Chicken Milanese. We had one vegan, and they made a lovely roasted vegetable pasta dish that was not on the menu. These folks really made us feel welcome and looked after us, and it was a busy place. If you are looking for a quiet place, this may not be it at 7pm, but if you want a lively vibe and great food, I highly recommend it.

Delicious food - home made pasta, tasty and delicate branzino, great lamb chops. Portions are not too big. We also had Tiramisu that was excellent. The only food surprise was pizza flatbread with mushrooms. The waiter asked us if we would like to add truffles and we agreed. It cost $40 ! The restaurant is very nice inside, but noisy if you would like to talk. We sat outside and it was quiet and cozy with the heating lamps. Will come back if we are in this area.

Tarallucci e Vino was very accomodating to our large group, that arrived kind of late, which was very much appreciated. The service was also top notch and we loved the food, cocktails and wine. We will be going back, next time with a more intimate group.

The food was just okay although the service was good. A dog was inside the restaurant the whole time we were there and he was barking on and off which was a bit annoying. No apology or anything was given regardless.

Taralucci menu was standard, but the food was very good, and efficiently served. Unfortunately the restaurant was very noisy, even though we were tucked away in a quiet corner. Lamb chops were excellent. It's one of relatively few decent restaurants in the neighborhood. Other places are mostly wine bars or pizza joints.

We went there for Restaurant Week Brunch. We chose this place because it had a Restaurant Week brunch weekend menu, and the menu was also listed on the NYC Go website. When we got there and asked for the Restaurant Week menu, they said that they do not participate. We weren’t the only ones who experienced this; we witnessed other tables ask for the same thing. We ended up ordering from the regular brunch menu. The prices were high, and the portions very small. The spaghetti serving was the size of a fist and it was very undercooked, almost crunchy. The sauce was alright, but not very flavorful. The ambiance was nice, the servers did their jobs. But the food was not worth it, even putting aside the misrepresentation regarding their Restaurant Week participation.

The pasta dishes here are excellent! Quality ingredients and careful preparation. Portions are on the smaller side so depending on your appetite, you may need to order an appetizer or salad to augment. Wine selection was also very good. Prices are fairly average for Manhattan.
