This is a nice Italian in the Flatiron district. Food is always good. Service is decent. The atmosphere is normally quite buzzy but on this occasion (snowy Friday during omicron) it was very quiet at lunchtime.
Meant that conversation was easier and the pace was relaxed. Staff were comfortable letting us linger over coffee.
A portion is a small and prices are expensive for those dishes , which are not that special. Over all , Overpriced foods, even compared to another good restaurant in Manhattan. Probably not coming back.
The quality of the food was only surpassed by the excellent service we were provided. The freshly in-house made pastas were incredible. A wonderful dining experience we will look forward to repeating soon.
very nice atmosphere, solid food, great service. noisy but it wasn't an issue. definitely
a go to restaurant.
First time here. It was nice; service was on point and attentive. I had branzino which I thought was very very good. My wife had chicken Milanese; she said it was good but could tell that the chicken cutlet was not freshly fried- possibly re-heated. All in all it was good and would try again.
Exceptionally good service and excellent food made this a fun night. One caveat:I wouldn’t suggest this place for the Covid-wary—it was packed, and the tables are close together.
we had to wait 25 min even though we had a reservation, and it was freezing outside and the
Food delicious, kitchen problems marred the experience.
Kitchen was out of 2 items we ordered, but didn't tell us until well after orders placed, threw rhythm of meal off.
745 Rez, entrees hadn't been served 920pm. Individual server was nice, it wasn't his fault, it was an inexplicable "backup in the kitchen." Manager wasn't wearing a mask (indoors), wasn't apologetic about the kitchen problems.
I'd like to return, but can't until it irons out its problems.
A little disappointing in that we thought we were going for a lunch. The web page sates Thursday to Saturday 11am to 11pm - no mention that no lunch on Saturday only brunch? We were told that they decided to just do the brunch menu that day? At 130 in the afternoon, we did not want brunch. Being from out of town we did not want to leave and try to find another restaurant.
The burger was good. My friend had the omelet. Not what either one of us wanted.
Also (being for out of town) we were never told nor was it listed on open-table that photo ID was needed. We had VAC cards but thank god we had our photo ID. When not told or have it be specified, we could have been sent walking.
Food was great, awesome environment!
Wonderful location wonderful food great service and great atmosphere
Absolutely a fantastic experience from our fabulously attentive server Emmanuelle to a delicious meal and cocktails! Great for a date night or dinner with clients!! Highly recommend!!
The cheese and meat board was a great way to start. Overall a nice experience.
Kitchen/waitperson never brought one of my orders; I took it off the bill.
Waitperson didn't refill water glass; when totally empty we had to hail waitperson.
The food was incredible. We had the burrata pizza to start - amazing cheese and the sauce had a lovely kick. Our mains were the veal lasagna and cacio e pepe. I can tell you that the cacio e pepe was everything I’d hoped it would be - with the perfect amount of fire from the pepper and a delicious cheese sauce. The lasagna was amazing and that red sauce!!
This is a causal place with both indoor & outdoor seating. God for business lunches, catch ups with friends and small groups. Again, the food was incredible.
Wonderful evening with great service and very nice meal!
We had the pizza with mushroom and gorgonzola, the orechietto, and the meatballs. The waiter helped us decide what quantities would be good and recommended the dishes. Service was perfection; music exquisite. We would return in a heartbeat.
Waiting staff was attentive and excellent. Food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone.
Very welcoming from the moment we entered the front door. The hostess was so nice. Our waiter Emanuele couldn’t have been more attentive. He and Gregorio took great care of us. The food was great. We will return next time we are in the city.
Once we said we didn't want a starting course we felt like like our server signed us off as a cheap meal and pretty much ignored us the rest of the time. Never checked back on how we liked our mediocre food and overdone steak. Ya know that scene at the end of Goodfellas? The pasta and sauce wasn't much better than egg noodles and ketchup). He never asked us if we wanted a second $17 glass of wine (we would've, btw, the wine was the best part of the meal). He must have assumed we didn't want dessert either (why we passed on the starting course -- ended up somewhere else for dessert). There are a many more better options for Italian in the city.
Food was excellent. All the dishes we ordered were great, especially the eggplant which is a hard dish to cook perfectly.
Ami is amazing !
If you want to go to a restaurant where the waiter‘s job is only to take your order and you’ll never see him again for the rest of the evening until he gives you the check then go to this place. Waiter was in capable of multitasking. Those were his words.
The food was so disgusting. I would never go back. The shrimp, which was a new item on the menu, came with the shells on it. The eggplant had no taste. The spaghetti and meatballs looked and tasted like it came from a can. We wouldn’t return if you paid us.
Sat outside for brunch. The food was excellent as always. I’m a big fan.
Lovely to sit outside. The set up is quite nice, nice planters but the fire department across the street was VERY LOUD!!!! Sirens went off twice during our meal. Bit of a bummer.
Our server was honestly one of the best servers I have EVER had. The food was AMAZING! I’m going back for a second time before I head back to MN!
Friendly staff. Good house wine for happy hour. Salmon was perfect.
Always consistently great! We enjoyed the charcuterie pasta, branzino and desserts. Highly recommended!
Food and service just ok. Not running back.
The food was mediocre the service was terrible the location and the outdoor dining what is not green. I think you can find somewhere better. This is the first time I’ve ever left a bad review.
Nice place with a buzzy atmosphere, sadly let down by the food, which was average at best. The pizza was pretty good, but the pasta was awful. Tasted like someone had poured cheap tomato sauce over regular spaghetti and not even bothered to add any seasoning
Great atmosphere. Food was ok/good. Gnocchi was undercooked so we packed up to further cook at home. Eggplant appetizer was crazy small. Cauliflower awesome!
We really enjoyed our meal at Tarallucci e Vino. We sat outside so the ambiance was not that great especially when the cars decided to start honking - but this is the trade-off. The service was excellent and we enjoyed everything we ordered from the arancini, to the salmon and tagliatelle bolognese to the sorbet/gelato dessert. It looked like everyone else was also having a good time.
Delicious food and fantastic service.
Very nice and accommodating manager. Good atmosphere.
Amazing!!! Best dinner ever. The service was incredible and the Cacio e Pepe is a must try!
Fantastic neighborhood spot. Hidden gem for excellent Italian.
