Great food, wine and service. The Prix Fixe made it even better. No complaints.
Absolutely memorable dining experience, something I have longed for in NYC for quite a while. The service was sincere and detailed oriented. We had an infant and needed a more spacious table with high chair etc, everything that we need was provided for without the need for us to ask, the waiter was extremely considerate and showed tremendous hospitality. The food, esp the almond croissant, is phenomenal, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to dine. Two thumbs up to this place and would def come back and visit again. Thank you for a memorable meal.
Superb cuisine. Attentive friendly and knowledgeable staff. Intimate dining at it's best.
This is my favorite location. Excellent food, wine, and service as always. Great for lunch, too!
Food was great...just felt a little rushed.
I cannot say enough great things; wonderful restaurant
Food was mediocre. Service marginal as well. Not impressed
Food, service all excellent. Very loud- hard to hear dinner mates and waiter.
Management and wait staff all seemed new.
We wanted to have happy hour wine and then a light dinner. My husband was not told that the red wine he ordered (pinot noir) was not part of happy hour and thus had to pay $16 per glass for a small pouring of average red wine. I had a delicious glass of white wine at the happy hour price of $7 per glass. The friendly waiter could have mentioned that the plain red he thought he ordered was not included in happy hour. That was the start to our evening!
Loved the place, the service, the food. Just a little too loud.
Host was extremely rude and gave away our table even though we were well within the 15 minute grace period. Claimed the restaurant policy was always “first come, first served” and that the reservations were not honored. Very disappointed, would not return to this specific location again and can not recommend.
Wonderful food and excellent service..will definitely be returning!
We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday. I made a reservation for 12 and unfortunately had to change it to 10 at the last minute, and the staff was more than accommodating. The restaurant was also willing to seat us right away even though the first few guests showed up 30 min in advance of the reservation (the last guest arrived 15 minutes after my reservation time). The food was delicious (although the portion sizes were a bit on the small side), and the wine was also very good for the price. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Nice modern Italian food in modern setting. Appetizers excellent.
Great space, great service, great wine list. Will definitely be back!
To be honest the restaurant wasn't super busy on Saturday but it was filling up by the time we left. The food is amazing and it's a great value for brunch. It's a hidden gem.
The table kept enthusing how this was a gem of a find! Some of those present had eaten at the brand's other locations in the city and it was decided this was the best. The staff was lovely and super accommodating (we had a birthday and wanted a few special touches) and the food was delicious (including the gluten-free pasta!).
The tagliatelle with simple tomato sauce was good as well as an octopus appetizer. The night special past, spagetti al vongole, was cold, the clam shells were empty and there were about 6 in the dish. Service was poor, as we had to ask for the bread/oil, which is served to all; we were not asked how was the food until the check arrived and therefore could not ask for warmer and better served pasta... The price is high for what you get.
Attractive places, friendly servers, good food. Hard to judge when you have brunch but there are lots of options.
Restaurant was quiet for lunchtime yet service was VERY slow. My app came out with my guests entree. Just didn't feel like a priority here at all and as I said, the restaurant was not crowded at all. There were 3-4 tables seated during the time we were here.
The prix fixe menu is great. And service was efficient enough that we were out in our lunch break but relaxed enough we were not rushed.
This restaurant was a lovely find in NYC - a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. My daughter and I had a wonderful meal with an even better server who was attentive to our every need. Both our meals were delicious. My pasta was made fresh in house and my daughter had two generous portions of sea bass. I highly recommend!
Easy staff, nice simple menu with variety. Not crowded
What a great meal!
Food was excellent. Loved the Octopus and the Scallops! I'll be back soon. :)
Meal fine. Didn’t appreciate getting an email from Open Table half way through telling me off for not showing up to my booking!
One of my favorite go-to's for client lunches. Always delicious, never stuffy with warm but efficient service.
Great service ! They were accommodating with switching out the chocolate dessert for a gelato from the restaurant week menu. Will definitely go back for brunch!
My husband and I had a wonderful meal. The octopus and chicken were amazing. We were happy with the service and over all dining experience. We will definitely dine there again.
The food was good. The waitress was a little forgetful.
We went for restaurant week and a friends birthday. I was happy because they had an Italian cocktail that I remember from my trip in Italy but I was disappointed that they didn’t have the famous Italian cookies that the web described that they are known for. Also they did not have the extensive cocktail list that was mentioned on their website.
It was nice but I’m not sure that I would go back because there are so many choices in NYC
The food is delicious and the environment is good too.
Everything was fabulous! We had a work dinner there and they treated us incredibly well. Can't wait to go back!!!
My wife and I spent the New Year Eve and it was really a nice experience of food and happiness. As Italians, we appreciated a lot the food (including the typical cotechino with lentils after midnight), the good prosecco and and the dessert. Also, the good service offered by Francesco and by his staff.
Very poor, my wife’s meal was given to the table next to ours . The person at this table tasted the meal and then realized it was not what she ordered. The waiter then realized the error and transferred the plate to our table. This was totally unacceptable but the waiter stated that plate was not touched. No other guests at my table had received their meals yet these were only brought to our table later. My daughter had ordered her steak well done but it was rare. The wine we ordered off the menu was not available so they offered a substitute at an additional $6 cost above the original wine price. I had booked the $85 per person option and confirmed it upon arrival only the $ 110 option was available.Very sad evening and not the way to start the new year
The acoustics are bad. Very high ceilings and no noise suppressors with a lively bar scene mean the diners just beyond the partition are noise victims. Hard to converse as long as the drinkers are in party scream mode.
Our server, Andrea, was exceptional as was the rest of the service team!
Réception area is tight. Maurer d wasn’t at station for a long time. Food portions eerie small.
