Excellent food and ambience! Will definitely be coming back :)
It was my first time eating there with my Boyfriend and we were seated in a clostrophobic area of the restaurant. We ordered our food and the people on either side of us finished their food, new customers were seated and retrieved their appetizers entrees and drinks before while we were still picking at our entree. Mind you we were there for a good 15-20 minutes before them. The waitress said she didn’t know what happened to our order and that she’s put it through again and “expedite” it. It wasn’t a good dining experience at all, we contemplated walking out but stayed to awkwardly receive our entrees and drinks much later than other patrons, the patrons giving us looks of pity like we’re neglected children. We decided to never come back.
Brisket Nachos were good nonetheless. Tacos definitely weren’t worth the wait.
Waiter constantly told us he was too busy and how he had other tables to attend to, as if we weren't one of them. I come here often, first time I had a jerk for a waitress. Overall good food and atmosphere.
Noise level was insane at Happy Hour the music was too loud to talk to the waiter it was too loud to talk to anyone at our table.
We’ve been many times before. Tonight was dinner and drinks with the kids. My mezcal margarita was very tasty. Nachos were cheesy and delicious. Entree was good but not great. Ambiance was lively and fun.
Great place for friends! Amazing food and drinks, very loud though. Wouldn’t recommend for first date but a fun night out!
The food was absolutely incredible. Best chipotle steak tacos ever. It was just a little noisy. I will be back soon.
Not bad at all enjoyed delicious food fun atmosphere!
Table was ready on time. Good staff, food and drinks!
The food and service was great with the exception that we were RUSHED out of our table before we could finish our drinks. We felt the pressure from the staff to get up and out of our seats. The food was excellent however.
Great food a service
This is the go to spot for Me I can food on Main St. The spicy margaritas are the best.
Great music and great scenery!! One of my favorite places to eat :)
My fiancé and I decided to stop at Taqueria for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We were beyond pleased with the service and food. Our server Shayna was outstanding and an absolute professional! Best place in the area for Mexican food and the margaritas were perfect.
Everything about this place was great. Good drinks and even better food. Only thing was that the tables were way too on top of each other. The table next to us was constantly staring awkwardly and extremely rudely at us the entire night. Idk if they were drunk but definitely something was off with them. Once they left we were able to finish our meal in place. We will definitely be back hoping for an even better experience.
Best Black Bean soup I've ever had. Highly recommended.
Great meal and service, only thing keeping this from 5 Star was the mixed gender bathroom floor needs to be cleaned more often, especially during busy hours
Food & service is always top notch. I've been about 10 times.
It's not the restaurants fault that the group behind us had 5 screaming children at their table.
It would be super eco-friendly if we all stopped having kids.
Amazing!! chelsea is the best. Just embarrassed i knocked over my water onto the people next to us
Really enjoyed this venue. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Directed us to great dishes. It was a little loud and busy, but it's a Friday night so nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely recommend this venue.
Lively greetings at the door, brisk, cheerful, thoughtful service. The tortilla soup is a meal unto itself and everything you could want on a cold night. The chicken tinga tacos are flavorful and bursting with color. Will return!
We've been here several times and its our go to for low key Mexican. The food and drinks are always good (not great) and the service is always friendly. No real complaints ever.
Reliable, high-end basic Mexican. Love the carnitas, brisket and mahi-mahi tacos and love to go with enough people to share all of them. Everything else from nachos to guacamole is excellent. The service is generally quick and pleasant. Margaritas are a nice size. I like their spicy "3-pepper" variety. We'll be back again and again.
Favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Outstanding service. Great vegetarian options.
We made a reservation and we still had to wait quite some time. Then once we were seated they squeezed us in to a table for four people for a
Perfect New Year’s eve dinner. Little delayed with the seating for dinner, but we didn’t mind as we weren’t in a rush, and once we were seated, service was prompt and very attentive. Drinks, food, and service were all phenomenal - as always. Daniel was fantastic with the service tonight.
love the cauliflower tacos, love the nachos, like the margaritas
solid evening, as always
Great restaurant and food. Service a little bit slow.
Great place even greater service food was amazing. This place is Tequila heaven. Many great selections available.
Disappointing. Food was just OK. Sent back 2 items that we didn’t like. The first Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t offer complementary chips and salsa.
Good service and food.
Great time, drinks, and tacos! Go for Taco Tuesday’s, $3 off tacos!
Everything was just OK. There was nothing spectacular or disastrous about the meal. It felt overpriced but decent quality. I probably wouldn't go back.
Food was great as usual and margaritas were amazing. Unfortunately, we showed up for our table for 2 reservation and had to wait almost 45 mins for a table for 2 to become available. Place was packed and loud, which we expected for a Saturday night, but the wait was very frustrating since we had a reservation. Service brought us a round of margaritas on the house which was very welcome, but the wait threw off some of our plans for afterwards. Overall the experience was fantastic and the wait time removed, we had an amazing time and great food/drinks.
Bad "Mexican food". Yuck! Bland, boring, and just the kind of food that is pumped out for the masses. The place is packed tho--- maybe people don't really know the difference?
They have a specialty taco that has been out of stock for a while and I was very excited when they get need up having them. Overall though their drinks and their tacos are really good. The staff is attentive and nice
First of all, I ordered a drink and it was brought "deconstructed" meaning I was given a glass with ice, a shot of tequila and a bottle of grapefruit soda. I was annoyed at this point. I felt like our server was avoiding us as he was visiting his other tables, but not ours. The guac tasted like it had preservatives in it and they only had chipotle salsa? The crispy fish tacos were pretty good, but with how annoying/bad everything else was I won't be going back.
This is a place that I used to thoroughly enjoy. I've been here at least 75 times, sadly the last three experiences have gotten progressively worse, culminating on Wednesday night with one of my worst dining experiences in recent memory. Aside from the food be subpar the service was horrendous. It was almost laughable in terms of the length of time it took to get bottled water and a drink. Somehow our main course arrived 8 minutes prior to the guacamole. Before posting a review that is negative I will send a note to the restaurant directly which allows them to address the issue before going public, I did that in this case too but have not heard from anyone after 72 hours which does not surprise me.
We went at 3pm on a Saturday. It was a quiet time to be there - but the service was lackluster in spite of that. We waited forever for drinks. When our appetizer of queso fundido FINALLY arrived, our entrees followed 45 seconds later. The food was fine but nothing I’d travel to Manayunk for in the future.
