The experience should have been amazing as the concept seemed great. However, we experienced the opposite. Aside from the waitress we had, we were very disappointed everywhere else. The food was cold, the managerial service was poor and slow, and the drinks were average. The technology of the wine pouring was not working and we were looked at and questioned as if we were falsely reporting our experience with what we ordered on the self pour and what we received. Once we asked for assistance, it took our entire dinner to finally get a new glass of wine, without any “sorry” from the manager or owner for the inconvenience of us waiting at the pouring station and missing out on our dinner with the company we went with. Overall, I do not recommend.

Mother’s Day was my first time ever at Tapville Social in Naperville. I absolutely will be back, without hesitation. While we used the tablet to order our food, the waitstaff was incredibly helpful and kind. The manager (assuming he was a manager; he wasn’t in a uniform like everyone else) was hands on with bringing food out and answering questions. Definitely something I love to see in the restaurant industry. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back and have date night with my husband!

Always love coming to Tapville, we’ve been members since it was originally Red Arrow. This time we went for Cinco De Mayo for the taco and margarita flights. I had the chicken tinga tacos and they were delicious. The margarita flight was fun, but I doubt there was the usual amount of tequila one would find in a traditional margarita. Service was impeccable as always, the staff is always considerate, polite, and friendly. A huge contribution to the fun atmosphere is that the staff seems to be genuinely enjoying themselves. A rare sight in today’s workforce.

Visiting from NY… where our fave restaurant is a brewery. Had the margarita flight, the classic was real watery with little flavor, the others were good. The beer is self pour, and you pay per ounce. A regular pour was $14, which seemed rather expensive, they were completely out of my first choice. The taco flight was OK. The stir fry was good. Had the chips and dip, guac was delicious, salsa was bland and Queso was spicy,but good. Our total bill was around $90 for 1 beer, the marg flight, chips and dips, 4 average sized taco and a regular sized stir fry. Emma was our server and she was sweet and very personable. Would not visit again. Food was average and prices were higher than they should be.

Disappointed in the whole theme. Expected to be able to choose different flights of foods or drinks, and that was limited and terribly expensive. I did not understand that we would have to participate in an “event“ in order to be part in the flight fun. Was forced to order bottles of wine versus glasses and they were out of two brands that we wanted. Food was very good. Service was very good.

We ate at tapville yesterday (Sunday afternoon) and we’re very disappointed. We sat at a high top and there was a group of 4 people sitting behind us that were extremely drunk, rowdy and inappropriate. Everyone in the area surrounding was staring and couldn’t believe their eyes. They couples were making out with each others spouses, they were dry humping and filming themselves, and were yelling to a level that I couldn’t hear the person across from me. Several complaints were received and finally the manager attempted to kick them out. They were argumentative and then turned to yelling at other patrons for looking at them, screaming “Karen”, “you’re boring”, etc. we left before they left because they resisted and were still arguing with the manager by the time we left. The service and food also sucked. You order off a tablet and there was no refill button for pop. We asked a staff member to come over, no one came for 15 min, when we asked for refills the bartender said there’s a button for that and walked away. He came back with our drinks and we showed him there was no button, and then he apologized. The food came 45 min later and my lobster roll was sopping with mayo and my friends chicken was in a pool of juice or water on her plate. Will definitely not be back again for the price of everything and how awful the experience was.

Outdoor seating would have been fine but all of their heaters were broken so it was very chilly. Servers did not come out much to refill drinks, etc. Probably won’t go back soon.

The sangria I self poured was warm and not cold. The Baja tacos were just ok. The best part about the food is everything comes out fresh and warm. The alcohol pours are way over priced, so think of it as an experience to not feel so robbed.

It was loud, which is fine but had to raise our voices to be heard at brunch time. Was unexpected. Drinks took at least 15 min to receive if not more. Somehow they managed to make shrimp dry. Wouldn’t eat here again.

If you enjoy variety of drinks this is the place for you. Food could be better. And this place functions on less interaction with the servers. You order everything via a pad. Noone comes and checks on you. Basically flag your server down and even then they lack on prompt service. Enjoyed the drink menu but service could be better.

Fun for adults celebrating together! The flights allow you to share and sample, along with the ability to take small samples of beers and other drinks from the “wall”.

Bacon and potatoes were not cooked, allergens present in food and sat right next to other table when there was lots of open seating. Would not recommend for brunch.

They kept telling us there was a 90 minute time limit on the table even though there were open tables in the restaurant of the same size and basically kicking us out. This was not stated on the information when booking the reservation and would’ve been good to know. I would not have made the reservation for this establishment.
