Taphouse Kitchen - Phoenix
We LOVE to come here when in town for
Their Brussels sprouts/lamb pops/ thin onion rings💕
Took 1 1/2 hrs to get food w/ reserv. Saw waitress only once during that time. No charge but still. Won't go there again.
Our server was very sweet and attentive. Food was tasty and prepared nicely.
My beautiful wife and I had an awesome dinner. Great food and great service, thank you!!
Suns playoff game do noise level was higher than usual.
Great food and service.
Really great food choices!!
This place is just beautiful inside! They have a great menu, with something for everyone! We really like the sushi, truffle fries,Brussels sprouts are to die for. With the exception of the Cesar Salad, everything is really good. The CS just didn’t make sense to me. It’s whole romaine with dressing on top. I found it difficult to cut and eat. Service and ambiance are awesome!
The potential here was in place, however, the entire experience didn’t live up to the potential. The food was cold, which may have had something to do with the time it took to serve.
The server was responsive, however, you could tell was struggling to keep up with demand. This wasn’t as upsetting as the food temperature.
My wife had the fish and chips and struggled the entire time. My Royale burger was okay, however, in their attempt to deliver an experience, fell flat on overall quality. (Meat was overcooked and dry)
As I mentioned, this place has better potential than reality.
Our party of 4 visited on a Saturday night and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu is extensive but on weekends they offer a couple of specials which include prime rib, Alaskan King Crab Legs and Chilean Sea Bass. The sea bass is by far the best I have ever had and deserves recognition. The Prime Rib is cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Dessert consisted of some outstanding beignets which was drenched in sugar but definitely tasty.
The only downside, and I speak with knowledge since we have visited a few times now, is the bar. Drinks take forever to be made and served. Twice now in visits our appetizers have arrived before our drinks.
A final positive note is the outstanding service from Andrew our waiter. We seek him out whenever we visit.
Always a "sheaborhood" favorite
Love garlic parmesan wings, That Great Salad, lamb pops, amazing craft beers, great smiles and service
Make a reservation!
We came with friends for Happy Hour. The Happy Hour prices are GREAT! Food was very good, as always: the meatballs & cheeseballs get extra credit!
Their Wednesday special of $25 for a bottle of house wine and the charcuterie board was a mixed bag. Portions on the Charcuterie board were a bit skimpy for a party of 4 - but would have been perfect for a couple. Unfortunately, I didn't look closely at my bill until 2 days later, when I noticed that the Wed. special was charged at full price: $32 for the wine & $15 for the charcuterie board. Totally my fault for not catching it. I trust it was a simple oversight.
The 8" pizzas are just enough if you start w/ appetizers from the Happy Hour menu. I esp. enjoyed the Pesto Chicken pizza.
A sheaborhood favorite for garlic parmesan wings , "that great salad" and burgers
Horrible service. We sat down and waited 15 minutes but the server never acknowledged us even though he walked past our table several times. We left and went to K O Donnels and had a great meal.
We had never been to Taphouse before. It was difficult to get into the parking lot as there was not adequate signage and we kept going in a side street that didn’t connect to the restaurant. But, once in, the evening was great. They didn’t have our Open Table reservation, but could get us in right away. The service was slow, but we weren’t in a hurry and the server was new. He was very kind and helpful and took care of us well. Good selection of beers and a decent happy hour. Food tasted wonderful as did the drinks. We were celebrating our anniversary. In the past a restaurant would usually do something nice to celebrate with us, but that did not happen here. The staff was very kind though and individually wished us a happy occasion. The final check was off by a dollar as one of the beers wasn’t listed at happy hour pricing, but we could do touch less checkout on our phone and when we scanned the QR code, the receipt that popped up was accurate. Checking out was very simple.
Overall I would give 4 out of 5 stars as it wasn’t perfect, but it was very nice.
Oh and this attached photo taken of a picture on the wall in the men’s restroom just made me laugh.
Awful. Absolutely awful. Despite our reservation we waited 45 minutes for our table. When finally seated our server brought our drink order and disappeared. She only came back after I went and complained to the hostess. Food was terrible. Never again. Recommend diners avoid.
We have eaten there on several occasions the last couple of times the service was terrible, we could have let that slide but the waiter’s hands looked like he just rebuilt a engine.
As I said the food was satisfactory
It will be a while before we try again.
At this time, I couldn't Recommend
What a hidden gem! Everything you’d expect from a contemporary tap house. We will be back for sure.
It was good food n drink not busy at all ..
Just a bit on high price side
Love their happy hour specials! Service and food are great! The best part is the menu is very diverse
My friend and visited THK today for lunch and were not disappointed! The foot was amazing and the device was great. Jake was our server and made sure that we were taken care of the entire time! We will definitely be back in again!
Waitress was great!
We loved it! The food was great! Service was great!
This place is amazing!!! Finally a family owned restaurant with a 20 year amazing history in Orange County comes to Phoenix! The Sea Bass melts in your mouth. Their cocktail Spa Water is addictive. This will be your new favorite restaurant. 😉
Great breakfast...service was excellent. AND we were told the all breakfasts were $10.00 - super deal and delicious. A warm skillet of complimentary monkey bread was brought to and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Service was g
