I'm sorry to say that the overall visit was only fair. The food took a very long time to come out and when it did 1/2 of us got our food while the other half waited 10 or so minutes for luke warm pizza. Also a little pricey for what we ordered. I was happy to share Mothers Day with my family so that was the best part of the day.
We were looking for a good local spot with outdoor seating, good food, and good vibes. Taphouse 23 fit the bill! We will definitely be back!
Always enjoy the food, in particular the burger and chicken pot pie. Very clean and spacious. Have been there for lunch and dinner.
Great. Beautiful place patio and atmosphere. Servers were great. Especially Kim
Food was delicious and Kelly was an excellent server!
Great cheese steak eggrolls!
Such a great outdoor seating area. Good drink menu. Lots of fun
I was served expired baileys, the steak was overcooked and dry.
Met a friend. We were able to enjoy our conversation. The food was wonderful. Service was great!
Food was good. We had wings, pretzels, and goat cheese pizza. The mojito was also good. The kids loved their food as well. The patio is really cool. It’s very warm so no need bundle up. We will definitely be back.
I reserved my table via Open Table, and I’ve done this 3 weekends in a row. And every time there was an issue. (No tables for us, had to sit inside rather than outside). So I asked “is there an issue because I schedule online? Or should I call to reserve?” The hostess (and I’m not making this up) told us not to come on a Saturday night because they are short staffed and Saturday nights are busy. So needless to say, I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon. Which stinks because their pizza is really good, and so is their wine.
Menu is small, but food was very good. Room is large enough to relax and enjoy our dinner. Service is always good.
I had made reservations online and when we got to the restaurant they had no seating for us on the patio. They told me it was because they had two big parties come in. So they moved us to inside, which wasn’t terrible. But I didn’t think it was fair that we had a reservation for the patio and they moved us anyway.
The food was good but our meals all came out at different times. Nothing was cohesive.
They confirmed reservation twice. It was Easter Sunday, party of three. When we got there we were told no dinners being served that day. 😱 🗣Terrible!!
Typical kids menu and bar food
Tap is your place to go if you want live entertainment, great sports on the HUGE TV, lots of light maybe even a little breeze on your face in the outdoor, HUGE covered patio area with firepit tables and all. The owner is a local businessman and frequents the restaurant. The servers and bartenders rock (shoutout to Erin, Kimmie, Nicole & Charlie). Whether you are in the mood for happy hour with colleagues or catching up with old friends or even a data night, it's all here!
Love the 23 burger 🍔 and the chicken pot pie is very good. Great place to watch a game, huge tv's.
Food was outstanding! My wife had a salad with red wine, I had a pizza and coke. Our server was nice, recommend a cookie dessert. Outstanding!!
The atmosphere was great and manager was nice to speak with.
Let me start by saying our server was great and our food was cooked perfectly and very fresh. My only criticism is about the hostess who seated us and the restaurant’s COVID-19 safety issues. I had made a reservation for my family on the outdoor patio. When we checked in with the hostess she said that the only table available was one right next to the musician who was playing guitar and singing on the patio. The music was so loud at the hostess stand that the hostess had to lean very close to my face so I could hear what she was saying, even though we had masks on this made me very uncomfortable because if she was infected no mask was going to stop the spread of the virus as her lips were about an inch from my face. As we were taken to our table we passed two other tables with 4 seats on our way that were further from the musician, so I asked if we could have one of those tables, and she responded that they were for people who made a reservation, I replied that we also had made a reservation, so then she replied that those tables were for parties of 4 and we were only a party of 3. As we sat at a table not being able to talk to each other the during entire dinner because the music was so incredibly loud, we saw the parties of only TWO that were seated at those tables that the hostess said we couldn’t sit at. So she lied! Our poor server also had to put her face directly in front of our faces in order to hear us when we placed our dinner orders, again so incredibly unsafe during a pandemic. I’m shocked that the restaurant would think it’s a smart idea to have extremely loud live music during COVID that would require servers and the hostess to get within inches of customers in order to hear them.
Good food, good atmosphere! It's a nice hangout spot for friends to get together or an easy date night.
Everything was great!
An awesome place to eat and watch the sporting events!
The staff is what keeps us coming back!
Had a quick lunch date and as always the food and drinks were great. Service was awesome and the place just had an awesome feel to it. Love Taphouse 23
It was our first time here. We were very impressed with the quality of food. The service was great and we loved the setting. We look forward to going back!
Catching up with friends we have not seen. Enjoyed the food and good beer selection as always
First time dining here. We ended up on the patio which was perfect, even during a cold February night. We enjoyed food and drinks while watching sixers game on GIANT wall sized TV. We plan to be back when the walls to the patio can be open!
As is the case with many gastro pub type restaurants, the food is a bit inconsistent and you have to try everything in order to know what they do best. I assume it is due to Covid, but many of the beers were $8 a pint which is not the norm and felt a bit like gouging. The patio dining space is excellent and safe so overall, expect a good experience albeit it bit pricey and inconsistent.
Really nice space during a pandemic and beyond. Loads of windows providing natural light and natural ventilation. The food was good and the service was great.
The service and staff was amazing as well as the food. I’m never disappointed.
Party of 6. 3 of us ate, 3 of us had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our burgers. Love the atmosphere!
Waited 2 hours to get our food and still didn’t receive it
Our server was wonderful, drinks were phenomenal, and even made us a to go cocktail in an adorable sealable drink pouch!
Valentine’s Day dinner .. was good server has not as attentive as I had hoped . But otherwise beers and food were good
Service was great and loved the fire pit table. Definitely will be back.
The goat cheese pizza was amazing. Can’t wait to come back again!
Service was fantastic. For being a Taphouse disappointed with draft list. We ordered 2 things they were out of. We ordered 3 appetizers-wings and stuffed peppers delicious the brussel sprouts were very disappointing. First time there we will try again mainly because of the service.
Great experience! And even better food!
