A 48-tap system that features some of the best beers in the world, a vast array of innovative food, along with a waterfront location and stunning view of the NYC skyline makes this a truly unique experience.
Taphaus has the capacity to seat 200 people and we are working on an amazing outdoor space that seats an additional 100.
We have pre-made catering packages, which can be customized for any occasion. Whether it's birthdays, weddings, award ceremonies, or corporate training, Taphaus would love to host your next event.
Very nice upscale casual setting with outstanding views of NYC.
Second visit and both were sub-par. Long wait for meal- actually after 2 hours left the restaurant. Servers disappear for long periods of time. Not efficient....most who are working look like "deer in the head lights". Won't go back.
Great place, great service and amazing view 🥰🥰 i want to go back 🤤🙌
Really fun restaurant. View is to die for. Food was DELICIOUS but our broccoli came out cold (eh, stuff happens). Good beer options as well as wine.
We had a great time. It’s a nice casual restaurant. Can’t wait for outside dining to be open soon!
Great food, great service, amazing ambiance!
A disappointing New Year’s Eve meal. The evening started well but no sooner had we been served our food than the staff began clearing tables away for a party due to start at 9.00pm. It was obvious that they wanted us out but no one cleared our plates or presented the check or option of a dessert. If we were informed of the situation at the start of the evening we would of cancelled our booking and gone elsewhere
They have a great sandwich’s menu and great service
Service was slow, there was an event going on, and it was loud and a lot of people were hovering around my table. Definitely won’t go back
Food was wrong and not good. Service was VERY slow.
Place was not busy for a Saturday night. The view is spectacular as it should be for the area. Not a lot of choices on the beer menu and no whiskey options. Food was good and the service from Diego was great.
Came on a Sunday evening for drinks and a small snack. Server was really attentive, but at the end when we wanted to order food, we couldn’t find her. Drinks and truffle fries were pretty good. Definitely didn’t need to make a reservation because at 5pm Sunday, there were literally 5 customers in the restaurant (including the 2 of us)..which was pretty nice. Gorgeous views and relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend
Really bad service. After more than one hour waiting for our food, when my children’s burgers came they came without the fries. They told us that they ran out of fries but we kept watching some burgers coming out with them. After complaining we received kind of inedible fries. And when we tried to ask for the dessert, the waitress told us that they have run out of all the desserts!!! They ruined our Mother’s Day lunch. And when we try to complain to the manager we had to wait for another 30 minutes to receive our check which was supposed to include a discount but we really were unable to identify... i do not normally write bad reviews because I have the opinion that if you don’t have something nice to say better not say anything. However in this case and given the naughty reaction of the waitress, we want to tell our experience
This was probably in the top five worst dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door and they didn’t have my reservation even though they texted me a confirmation. Service was bad and slow Every table in my site was complaining to the manager. Food was cold over done, one person at the table got salmon that was blackened and the other one had no seasoning. The waitress forgot that she had already taken our appetizer order. We were there for two hours. There was nothing good about the meal. It ended off with two bathroom stalls having no toilet paper. Our bill was $113 that we will never get back. I don’t know how this place stays in business . The manager needs to get his act together!
The service was terrible we waited an hour to get out appetizers and another hour to get our main meal. When we finally got our food half of the dishes were freezing cold and they messed up all of the orders.
The service was so slow we didn’t get half of the drinks we ordered. We ended up getting up and ordering drinks at the bar because our waiter took so long to bring them to our table.
The restaurant was not crowded and there was a pre-set menu for Mother’s Day so there was no reason for the service to be that slow.
Went for Mother’s Day and there was a limited menu. Food was good but the portions were small. Service was very good and the location/view awesome.
Service and location are very nice. A bit long to get the food but they offered us drinks without asking for it. I will come back for sure!
Amazing service and food.
It was my boyfriends birthday and I had made a reservation online a week or so beforehand. When we arrived at the restaurant the hostess informed us that there were only two servers on staff therefore it would be a little slow, my boyfriend and I agreed to stay. We arrived at 6:20 for our reservation at 6:30, we waited for over 25 minutes before we decided to leave because the waiter never came to our table to even ask if we wanted a beverage. Yes we were informed of the wait but to not even have had any introduction by a waiter was insane to us. We left, didn’t get a chance to try the food or drinks. Maybe we’ll get a better experience next time.
Service as awful. Our waitress had 2 tables. Ours and another party yet she seemed to always disappear and not bring us any food. The pretzel would have been amazing if it wasn’t sitting in the kitchen under the heating lamp for 1 hour. ROCK SOILD. Thank god the manager took that off our bill Becuase we waited 2 hours for our food. Our waitress came up to the able once between end of apps and meal delivered to table to let us know they were still cooking the fries.. we ordered 4 meals; 3 burgers and 1 Mac and cheese. Mind you one of the burgers had a side of fries. Guess it takes 2 hours to cook 15 fries. Such a shame Becuase the view was great and place was cute. Burgers were actually good
Beautiful view, cool hangout place on the Hudson. Food was ok. Great local brew selections.
We went to Taphaus for a birthday brunch. Food was good and unlimited mimosa deal was great. At first they mixed rose instead of champagne though. But they fixed that.
I made a reservation for my anniversary but they didn’t have a table reserved for me. They gave us an awkward table so we requested to be moved.
We were over from England and wanted to eat some where with a view and this place delivered, perfect view of the Manhattan skyline by night, the food & service was good with a great buzz about the place
Awesome New York City View over the Hudson River. Great beer selections and creative everyday food menu. It was a bit cold (on a cold day) but otherwise great. Wine selection is minimal, but seems their focus is beer (taphaus!)
Terrible Service and Mediocre Food. We had the worst server in history — the waitress with brown curly hair. She ignored our requests for things several times then tried to charge us for drinks o food we never received. Blissfully ignorant and apathetic.
Food overall was okay -- the steak meal was not great but was a generous amount. Much of their draft beers had been wiped out by the prior weekend event, so that was disappointing, and one draft i ordered was flat and tasted off. I will be cautious about ordering another draft beer that this place.
Waitstaff was not attentive.
They looked overwhelmed by the number of people that were there for Valentine's Day. They took forever to bring the food we ordered, even though it was for a fixed course--we thought they would have it prepared in a way to deliver it correctly for everyone that would order it. The food was really good and the options for drinks and beers were really good. I'll try to be back there in a less busy day.
It was freezing cold ...
Food was okay but they didn’t have anything we had already planned on ordering after viewing the menu online. They were out of a few things and it was 5:30 on a Saturday night? Also waiter was very slow, out taking smoke breaks every ten minutes, and seemed like they couldn’t care less that we waited almost an hour for an appetizer. Probably wouldn’t go again for food, beer selection was decent
Awful experience here. Service was terrible. We never spoke to the same server twice and waited almost 20 minutes to even get a drink order in, at which point we ordered our meal for fear we wouldn't see our server again. Waited another 25-30 minutes for two hamburgers and two diet cokes which tasted average, if that. Not to mention, we had to change tables because my partner kept getting knocked into by servers at the first table and I then had to stand for almost 10 minutes while they found me another chair as my original chair was broken. Our experience was not out of the ordinary. I live in a nearby building and have spoken to a number of neighbors who all had similar negative experiences here. The hostess was nice and they seemed to have their bar in order but their service and kitchen is why I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Nice place, modern, with incredible views of the city. Food was very good, I didn't love my entree, but I am very picky. It was cold inside (very cold outside) They gave us a heater for our table but it wasn't cozy like I expected. We sat at a table with bench seating, not very comfortable. We ate early, lots of families...Nice staff, would go back in the summer.
Service needs to improve. Fries are never crispy!?
Taphaus did not have the heat on when it was 14 degrees outside. It seemed that the air condition was on. My party and I would have stayed longer however we were frozen. It was unbearably cold. Not one staff member addressed the temperature or apologized for the environment.
Just watch out at this time of year that you are well wrapped up, it’s a bit cold inside, so much so that some of the servers are wearing gloves and coats! But the food was very very good!
This place has great view of NY skyline. There are options for vegetarian food on their menu which is great for people like me. Overall ambience is good with candlelight’s and view of the Hudson.
Had previously been to the Taphaus before and it was excellent. Not this time. Perhaps it was the after Christmas blues but the food server seemed to be completely lost. We ordered an appetizer (actually two of the same) and a side salad only to wait and wait and then have all the food delivered at once!
The fries were luke warm as was the appetizer. This was not good but since we had been traveling all day, we decided to not make a scene. The food server could not distinguish between Pinot Grigio or Pinot noir and that’s an issue coupled with the time it took to get the drinks.
Thus, we are batting 50% at the Taphaus. They get one more chance.......
The view is worth coming. The Mac and cheese was great...the mussel pot was super gross. Servers seemed disinterested in helping us and the manager was yelling at staff in the corner.
philly steak sandwich was very good... calamari were fantastic
Great food and service. The view is amazing. Will return again.
