Service was inattentive and forgetful with no meaningful apologies. Food wasn’t very good on top of that. Only pros are Fenway location and outdoor seating was nice.
A perfect location fro an evening Sox game. Nearby parking and and easy walk to Fenway. Menu a little short on entrees but the ones offered were quite good. The little gem salad was indeed a little gem
I got my meal 15 minutes before my husband. Had to ask for bread and my wine. His meal finally came with an apology that the meals were for sharing. No where is that indicated on their very limited menu. The waitress tried to talk us into their concept. Way to after the fact. My raditore which served with shredded chicken that look like it came out of a can was just okay. My husband’s chicken was fine but would have been better if we could have actually shared the meal and had a whole meal. They did comp our wine as an apology. One and done.
We ate in the Club Room. Comfortable, not loud and fun decor. It's a short walk from Fenway Park. Two different menus depending on which room you sit in.
Fantastic cocktails and fun food! Service was great and not too busy. Great last minute spot and wasn’t disappointed!
Great food, came for dinner and the food was amazing, server really sweet. Only complaint was that it took forever to get drinks. First round came 10 minutes after we got our food, and second round it took about 20 minutes. I could see the bartender on his phone the whole time we waited.. the cocktails were really good though so it made up for the wait.
We brought our friends and we all enjoyed the food
Tapestry was a great brunch spot before heading to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The "everything but the bagel" pizza was delicious as were the bloody marys. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Menu options very limited
Food and service were both so good! And such a cool and modern space, was a great experience overall.
We were there at 8pm on a Wednesday night and the food was piping hot, cooked to order and delicious. Our waitress was outstanding as well. Can't wait to go back.
This restaurant has a very cool idea and vibe. The front room is a bar set up with pizza and bar snacks such as wings, nachos, etc. The back room is more of a typical restaurant, where you can order either off the bar menu or the "club room" menu. The back "club room" has very cool decor with a fireplace. I ordered a kale salad and butternut squash lasagna which was quite delicious in my opinion. The only thing I would say is that the menu options can be limited. I am not sure if they change their menus throughout the seasons but I would check before going especially if you have any dietary specifications. But overall I definitely recommend it and would like to go back!
It was really overpriced for the quality. Blaze pizza has better taste for hald the price. I would not go back or recommend it to friends.
Warm and friendly service. Crispy potatoes were wonderful with the Aji Amarillo Aioli, the broccoli rabe pizza was awesome with the perfectly cooked egg on top and my spiced chai was dynamite. We bought a lemon poppy donut for a treat later. Yum!
Never been here before. Great find. You walk in through a pizza parlor (separate restaurant, I think) which then opens into a very nice room with a central fireplace and nice decor. The food was quite good, as were the house cocktails. Would highly receommend
Food was great but service wasn't. The food was really slow but that was some mix up between the waitress and the kitchen. I wouldn't say that's likely a regular thing but a one off
The food was the highlight at this restaurant, as it should be.
The brunch food was expensive for tiny portions of mediocre food. They seated our party of four (we had made reservations in advance) at a table that was meant for two people.
I was tasked by my fiance to "create a date night" (her words) and I jumped at the chance. After a bit of research, Tapestry came up and I noted that the photos looked like just the kind of cool, jazzy kind of place. We made reservations and the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. The menu, though short, was full of flavor and their specialty drinks were out of this world.
Definitely a successful date night.
Great staff, food, and atmosphere!
Tapestry has all the makings of a leader in the food and bev industry. This is encompassed by their outstanding selections from the kitchen chefs which is always a wonderful surprise to the palate a great waitstaff and focused ownership. Thank you!
We went on a quiet Sunday morning. Everyone enjoyed their food enough. However, the everything smoked salmon pizza was weird tasting. I think they tried to be inventive but it fell flat.
What a horrible, disappointing experience. Maybe I don’t eat much salt in my day to day food, so when I had the chicken wings, lasagna, steak frites, and broccoli rabe pizza, everything was sooo overly heavily salted. Food took 20mins to get to the table, which is quite long in restaurant standards. Then as each dish came along, I find myself having to gulp a glass of water after taking each bite because everything was so heavy in salt.t husband couldn’t even eat his steak and fries. Pizza, in my opinion, was way too charred. The sides of the crust was all burnt and my kid couldn’t eat it. Who likes eating carcinogens bite by bite? The club room is nicely furnished and ambiance is good, but the food definitely made the experience a double downer.
I thought it was great!!!! The food was excellent. You could hear yourself talk. The drinks were great. Reasonable price point (I’m from New York reasonable is relative). I’d totally come back.
We had an okay dinner last night at Tapestry. The servers were polite but it was VERY slow, even though the place was not busy at all. The pizza we had was fine but the crust was soggy. The oysters were good, the salad and 2 deviled eggs were fine although not remarkable. Our cauliflower dish was good too but all of the items were overly salty. We did enjoy our cocktail (it was very good) and a draft beer. The whole 2 concept restaurant seems a little contrived; for instance we had to ask about draft beers in the lounge and they let us order them, but it just felt like we were inconveniencing them. Overall it was an average experience in terms of food and service and I don’t think we’ll return.
Seating was perfect, right by the fireplace. Comfortable chairs, friendly server (kelly) great cocktails and interesting food. Started with oysters.
Ordered ceviche, chicken, fish, vegetable lasagna and steak and frites. And we ordered two desserts. Only complaint, the frites were way over salted. The four of us shared everything. Left two hours after we arrived... a lovely night! This is in the old Linwood Grill where we had all spent many a night seeing bands... quite a difference.
This restaurant is divided into two sections--one a sort of pizza kitchen, with bar, screen, and games such as foosball. The other area was a more intimate lounge, with a gas flickering fire place. Both areas had different menus. We ate in the lounge. It was truly a enjoyable, cozy place to dine on a cool fall's night. There were mostly creative, interesting small plates and tapas--a good range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian--but not a huge selection overall on the menu. Food was delicious. Also there were fun craft cocktails. Service was excellent. A great neighborhood find in the Fenway area.
The service was so slow and it wasn’t even crowded. We sat and sat and didn’t get much attention and our food took a long time to come and the pizza had black covering most of the bottom from being burned when it did come. I think we were there for over two hours.
Pre-Red Sox game - great location in Jersey Street neighborhood away from the Kenmore Krush.
One of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The flavors are always unique and delicious!
The staff were very friendly, relaxed and helpful, and the food is original -- with a great selection of small plates and full dinners as well.
Strange concept . Food comes out in drips and drabs . So no one really eats together . The pizza we ordered took over an hour to be served to us . . Everyone else was already done with their food . When we complained the manager in the kitchen said they should know pizza takes a long time ...
The food was good, so was the service. We had reservations for the Club Room, but when we arrived, were told it was closed. We were sat next to the shuffleboard table where people were having a great time, moving around, standing right at the edge of our table, being loud (as one should! but not the ambiance we were looking for).
This is a great spot if that is what you’re looking for - brightly lit, people having a good time playing darts etc. - but I was trying to have a somewhat peaceful meal with a good friend and catch up. It just wasn’t the expected atmosphere based on reviews and photos when I made the reservation.
I had reserved a table well in advance for brunch on a Sunday. On line it clearly states that brunch will be in the Club Room.
My guest and I arrived exactly on time - Club Room not open. The bar area had a dad and son playing fussball, and a few others hanging out .... super casual.
It was a beautiful day - I said we would need to sit under some shade while outdoors.
The hostess was very accommodating.
We were shown to a table on the patio.
There was trash all over back of patio area.
Looked like an alley way - not attractive.
The servers were pleasant but disorganized. Once food was delivered to the table , never saw them again.
On the Open Table reservation , I noted this was a " celebration ".
Yikes ! Just think if it were any ordinary meal.....
Will never return ; will never recommend, I am very sorry to say.
Tapestry is outstanding. There is a front section that is more on the casual side. Lamb nachos are to die for! Their pizza is gourmet - I highly recommend the mushroom pizza. The music selection is fantastic, but not too loud. There is a great view into the kitchen and the beautiful brick pizza oven. You'll love it. They even have a shuffle-board table for game play. This past Saturday we ate in the "Club Room" for the first time. Very elegant. Super comfortable chairs. This section also has a stellar soundtrack playing. The dishes back here are meant to be shared. There were three of us gals. We had 4 dishes shared between us, for a very reasonable total of $77. And we were stuffed. Get there as soon as you can.
We've been here twice in the last couple of weeks. The first time for a sparkling cava with $2 oysters and the second for dinner. We sat at the bar with Ian the extremely knowledgeable mixologist (Havana Conference is super tasty) & foodie who guided us through the menu. His choice of wines were perfect. The bigoli pasta was very flavorful and the chicken roulade was excellent. Both portions were generous. The Expo room is fun with games like darts, foosball and shuffleboard. We've eaten in the Club room too which feels like luxurious dining. Very special. Both rooms appeal to a wide audience. We will definitely return.
This was our second visit to Tapestry. On the first, we sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the patio and the food. Service was adequate, not over the top, fine for a casual patio dining experience. The dining room looked lovely so we decided to return with friends. We sat at the bar in the dining room to start. The bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable. Cocktails were excellent. Our table was in a nice location next to the fireplace. Service was slow and at times frustrating. Only after taking our order did our waitress explain that the food was served, as she put it, “family style” and that each dish would come out when it was ready, in no particular order. This would have been helpful to know ahead of time. One of the four entrees appeared first, appetizer no where to be seen. This made the individual whose meal had arrived very uncomfortable to be eating while the rest of the table had nothing. Eventually (between 10 and 15 minutes later) the appetizer and another entree arrived which gave each of us something to eat together. The food is excellent, the atmosphere great, I see no need to serve food this way. Dining with friends is a social experience. Eating and sharing the food is all part of the fun. When there is only one entree on the table, it is awkward at best. Again, I don’t see the need for this. Our waitress, when asked about a particular wine, had no idea, left to find someone who did and returned several minutes later without anyone and without any explanation. Not ideal. I would recommend this restaurant because the food is great, interesting and delicious. However the service needs a lot of improvement. I hope they attend to this because I think this is a restaurant that should be around for a long time.
Our server Kelly knew the menu very well, and was super friendly. Great food and cocktails! I will definitely come back .
Very creative and tasty food. Atmosphere in bar area is a bit rough around the edges but that adds a bit of adventure to the place. Must tries are the red quinoa bowl and peach almond pancake.
