Tapasya has an extensive modern Indian menu that’s been designed by head chef, who intends to source products locally and evolve the menu regularly to ensure a constantly unique dining experience. Every dish is freshly prepared in an open spaced kitchen for diners to see the talented chefs at work, Tapasya will offer a first class dining experience and is already attracting interest from foodies across Yorkshire. The Beverley Road restaurant is complemented by a fully licenced bar with a wide selection of champagnes, wines, and speciality cocktails. Please note that for bookings of 6 and above a deposit of £20 pp will be required.

Food excellent. Atmosphere very good. Service good. Pre meal drinks area very poor. Disappointing that a service charge of £38 was added without notice...when our party totalled only 6 persons. Tapasya policy is to apply a service charge for parties of 8 or more persons.

First time at Tapasya so.... Booked for a Monday evening and as expected, and like most restaurants, will always be quiet, however, three tables covered so some 'atmosphere', the staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food really was delicious. Unlike most Indian restaurants the menu is quite small, so they can make sure each dish is very good and freshly prepared. The web image is for 'Indian fine dining'. Yes, it certainly seems to be! I haven't tasted Indian food as good as this for a very long time, nor had napkins placed on my lap in any Indian restaurant! The waitresses just glide up to your table and replenish your drinks without you realising they have been there. Will definitely return in the near future, good stuff.

Our party of four enjoyed an excellent lunch with good service. We have dined here on four separate occasions and found the lunchtime special menu to be extremely good value with more than enough choices. Naturally, we will return to enjoy the food, service and ambience.

I am not a lover of overly spicy food... But my partner is, so I decided to book Tapasya as a treat for him hoping there would be something that would suit my palette. I needn't have worried. We had the tasting menu including gin (for me) and wine (for him). The food surpassed my expectations, this is not your typical curry house but a fabulous fine dining experience. The service was exemplary. We will be back!

From the moment we walked into the restaurant you knew it was going to ooze class and quality. Contemporary/fine dining indian is the best way of describing the place. Will return

We came here for dinner for son's graduation. We wanted something a bit special but relaxed. Son is a vegetarian. It ticked all the boxes for us.
