Loved it! Great tapas dinner. Everything exceeded our expectations. The spicy margarita was perfect, the food was amazing and the service was outstanding!
The grilled squid was excellently. The pasta and empanada had too much sauce. Everything else was bland.
This is my fourth time there as family. It’s a nice and family friendly location. Food is great. Service is good. Small Tapas portion with high price. Overall good and recommended but the items are pricy for the portion size. It’s about $30-$40 per person including tip and tax without drinks.
My aunt and I had a great time. From the food, service and specials. We were there for a good few hours. I would definitely go back.
First ever Tapas experience with my hubby for date night. Paul our waiter was fantastic. He explained how the dining processed worked and was attentive to our dining experience. Food was amazing. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Food was good, so much to pick from.
Went with a large group of coworkers after work and had a great time! No wait. I also have some dairy and egg allergies and they were very accomodating!
Lots of choices, good staff, good food
Outstanding service and exceptional meal. The selection of tapas were plentiful, both hot and cold. A family of three, we shared several tapas dishes, the bacon wrapped dates were awesome, and a seafood paella. Alex, our server, was great and provided us with several tapas suggestions.
Great food& fun atmosphere.
I went here with friends and loved it. The tapas were excellent. The atmosphere is colorful, elegant and fun. Nice wine list and good selection of cocktails to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place.
I really wanted to like this place to have a Tapas place I can return to over and over again. This isn’t it unfortunately. Food was excellent but service poor. After making a reservation on Open Table, we were on time and seating quickly but sat for 25 minutes before anyone greeted us. When we spoke up our server came to take our drink order but we were ready to have our order taken. Our server was gracious and took order and said he would return with our drinks and bread and after multiple requests and about an hour later, a basket of bread was brought. Entertainment was very good but we sat in front of stage which then made it difficult to have conversation. When food was ready, it was tough to remember all the names of the tapas each couple ordered so the delivery was messy. The server said he overhead that it was my hubby birthday so brought out a dessert and had the musicians sing to him which was nice but I do believe I made note of that in my Open table reservation also. Will likely try another tapas restaurant next time.
Amazing food and great service. Really is an experience. They had a live band playing which made it even more fun and unique.
Outstanding food, great variety, perfect place for a party of 7.
Great spot for happy hour and small plates for a business meeting South of the Loop. Enjoyable.
Best Tapas in Chicago. Thoughtful wine list. A favorite new place to visit often.
Yummy food and great service. Manager was very attentive and checked on all clients. The staff was friendly and the food was yummy. I'm looking forward to tasting more items on their vast menu. They also had $5 drink specials
The food was exceptional and the service and ambience were excellent. Cannot wait to come back.
Great food. Service was ok, but it could’ve been better.
Octopus and the calamari were exquisite
Great tapas plates. Try the goat cheese with tomato basil and the lamb!
Great food and helpful waiters!! A lot of choices and live music made it all worth it!!
This was a nice surprise in the south loop.
The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients and authentically prepared. We had dinner after a Saturday matinee play. The noise level was very loud when we arrived, there was a Taylor Swift concert that evening. After the concert goers left, the noise diminished greatly and it was easy to carry on a conversation.
My sister and I went before a show at the Auditorium Theater. We got seated right away. I had a berry mojito that was fantastic. Our server was attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was fresh and delicious.
Girls outing to concert at Soldier Field brought us here due to location/distance from stadium. Food was good, service prompt. Our favorites were the octopus and calamari dishes!
We went for an early dinner before a concert and the ambiance was great. Waiter was super friendly and helpful, but service was almost too fast. Everything came out quickly so we didn’t have much time to linger or enjoy each dish. The food was good but not great. The shrimp was a bit fishy and the dates were a bit tough. Dessert was excellent.
One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The queso de cabra is always amazing!
Everything from our welcome to departure was fantastic. Brian, our server, was friendly and helpful with wine selection. Food was incredible. Live flamenco music added a lively touch. I will be back!
Great food and great staff.
For Mother’s I made a reservation based on the menu which was not available as it was a brunch style. Food was ok but not great typical Spanish. Nice service but not great.
Tapas Valencia is an excellent choice! Friendly and efficient staff, excellent cocktails and sangrias, creative menu, wonderful ambiance and valet parking! Seriously, find this hidden gem and enjoy!
Loved this place! Live dancing and music was so fun! And food was amazing!!! Definitely can’t wait to go back again soon!!!!!!
The food was amazing. I liked that the plates were spaced out, we didn’t feel rushed. The music was great! The lice dancer and guitarist really added to the ambiance. The tapas were amazing as were the desserts. Loved the decor. The light was great! Not too bright or dark.
Great for a date and a lively occasion and friends get together
Amazing service! Watching a live flamenco performance while we ate dinner was very entertaining.
Great Value for the price. Tapas dishes were larger than we anticipated. Delicious food.
Had a ladies' get together on a Friday night. It was our first time there. We tried a variety of tapas and they were delicious. We tried the strawberry, pear, and peach sangrias. Our favorite was the pear sangria. Our least favorite was the peach sangria. Service was outstanding. We will definitely go back and try the rest of the menu.
We enjoyed the service and the food was most excellent. Would recommend the Jamon Cerrano, scallops and for a creative dessert have the bacon wrapped figs and squeeze some lemon on them before eating. Or scar took good care of us. We moved to the bar to watch the hockey game. They were very gracious.
Our server was fantastic. Her recommendations were perfect!
We had a business dinner with 5 people. We were seated promptly, and our server was very friendly. It was a casual dinner, so we fit in with the other diners, who appeared to be mostly local (many people walked). Though the space was large and the crowd was energetic for a Tuesday night, we could converse easily.
The menu was quite long, and gave us many options. Our food was brought out pretty fast. The food was solid, but not amazing or very creative. No one was "wowed" by any particular dish.
Our server and the restaurant team barely came back after the food was delivered. We had to ask for refills on water, and we were never offered a second drink or glass of wine.
It was a good evening, just not outstanding.
