   Arrived at the restaurant to find it was closed! However, still listed as open online and taking reservations. Number just goes to voicemail.

   The restaurant was completely closed, so the fact I could book a table at all is appalling. If you're going to shut your restaurant, the least you can do is close the booking system, or send a courtesy email.

   Extremely disappointed to arrive for our meal to discover the restaurant was shut and has been for weeks, despite the fact I had an email from open table confirming the booking, a second checking we were going and a third to say we had been and would I like to do a review. Will never use open table bookings again as surely you should know the restaurant has closed.

   The restaurant was closed and looked like it had been closed for some time so the company shouldn’t be taking table bookings online

   Well, you've got a cheek! We booked a table via Open Table, got confirmation, booking reference, reminder etc. We turned up on the right day at the right time and the restaurant was closed. In darkness. Chairs on tables. We were meeting friends. Fortunately we managed to contact them and we all met up in Wetherspoons instead. But what a swizz! And what a good job we hadn't organised a big brithday party or something. I am outraged and disgusted. I will never use Open Table again and would not recommend them. Has Tapas Revoultion closed down for good? I've a good mind to report Open Table to Trading Standards.

   We booked the table as we’d wanted to try it out since it had changed hands from its previous incarnation and was one of our favourite places. The layout of the restaurant was pretty much the same which was fine and familiar and the service from the staff was good. The thing that lets it down was the choice on the menu wasn’t great and the food to be honest was average and if I’m being honest overpriced.

   THey were clearly short of staff as the service was extra slow . THose that were there did their best but could not cope. food average .

   Only redeeming factor was I surprisingly got 20% off as I was going to the theatre! The food was average at best and some didn’t arrive which was probably a blessing. I don’t think the staff had been trained at all meaning the service was very poor too. Wouldn’t go back and certainly wouldn’t recommend

    Food was average. Nothing special, two of our dishes we didn't even eat as they tasted disgusting. I consider the food to be as you would expect from a cheap restaurant chain warm up standard. There are far better tapas restaurant in Liverpool that offer more authentic dishes. The service was not the great either. We were not asked for any more drinks other than the drinks order taken as we were seated, this was poor. I even had to seek the waiter out to ask for our bill as no attempt was made to come over and ask if we needed anything, dessert menu wasn't offered either. I would say the restaurant was half full while we were there, so there should not have been any excuse for it being busy, as this wasn't the case. I wouldn't return.
