Tapalaya is the worlds first tapas (small-plates) restaurant serving Modern Cajun/Creole with a Vietnamese Twist.

Everything on our menu is made from scratch, with love. At Tapalaya we have our own farm in West Linn, OR that supplies us with wonderful seasonal ingredients. The plates of food are small to medium sized but rich and full of flavor, perfect for sharing and pairing. Menu items highlights include Crawfish Anh Luu, Jambalaya, Turmeric Red Beans and Rice, Blackened Octopus, and Beignets.

Join us at Tapalaya for Live Music every Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday brunch 11am-2pm.

Always like coming home. We brought two Southern visitors to enjoy the food and the music of Reggie Houston. They loved it, right down to the beignets!

Amazing brunch here - definitely a must visit restaurant in Portland, and obvious why they are on Eaters brunch list. Bread pudding French toast is the best, and their hash with blackened catfish was also incredible.

The food here is very good for starters. It's a great fusion of New Orleans and Vietnamese food. Good service and drinks. The brunch is excellent. The owner is super nice. I very much recommend eating here!!

The atmosphere was cute but the brunch food was meh. The coffee was not great and was $3 which is pricey for crappy diner coffee. My boyfriend had the pulled pork Benedict and it was nothing special. I had the fried oyster hash. The oysters were not fresh and just eating one made me sick for the rest of the day. The potatoes were under seasoned. Would not recommend for brunch.

My favorite place for weekend brunch. I love the food and service, plus the acoustic guitar music is a huge plus for us.

I so enjoyed the food. The shrimp in the daily Tapas (3) when we went was to die for. I cannot wait to go back and have the Jambalaya. The waitress was super friendly and helpful.
